Immaculately clean, comfortable furniture, a wooden porch swing facing the river and very pup friendly. Both host and rental business were very helpful and friendly. We will rent this unit again. Nice quiet area too for being Octoberfest in Helen

Cute with awesome view

Very nice and updated property and great location. Perfect for my husband, dog, & me. The porch swing view over the river was so relaxing. The bed wasnt very comfortable but otherwise it was great.

What a fabulous rental!

Beautiful view of the river from the balcony. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. Close walking distance to restaurants and shops. Check in process was easy. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Helen.

Very cute and clean! Loved the private balcony to enjoy sound of the river. Only complaint was how much you could hear upstairs and next door neighbors!!

Room was very nice and very clean. Alot of remodeling had been done and is very very nice. Porch was extremely nice with the swing. The bed slept fantastic. The towels were so soft. I hate to say anything bad but the only negative is that if someone is in the room beside you, where there is an adjoining door in the bedroom, you can hear almost everything they say.

After a 6 hr. drive we hoped for a perfect three night stay for our first time visiting Helen for Oktoberfest 2026. That would not be the case. First, we had a faulty door lock which caused my husband to have to walk across the street to the check-in desk two times before we finally got inside with a key. The place appeared well kept, but there were no paper towels provided and the dish washer had not been emptied. Our view from the livingroom was great. The deck had a two-person swing, perfect for sipping coffee, listening to the sound of flowing water and watching people tube past in the beautiful rocky steam below. The condo was one bedroom with a decent king-sized bed. It was nicely decorated and had two really nice bathrooms. There was a small closet in the bedroom, no clothes hangers. No chest of drawers for unpacking clothes. The window shades didn't keep out the bright flood lights from next door. It was like sleeping in daylight. Don't expect a quiet stay. The walls are very thin. Conversations were heard all around us. At times it sounded like they were inside our condo. Every time the people above us flushed the toilets, washed hands, showered, or took a soak bath we heard the water running through the pipes. On Sunday morning from 1:10 a.m. to 2:59 a.m. people above us partied with blaring music and singing loudly, as if they were the only ones there. I got no sleep before the long trip home.

Great location and views. Could walk everywhere (which was faster considering all of the traffic). Nice remodel and lots of space. Definitely could use a new mattress. We kept rolling to the center and didn’t sleep as well as we’d like. Loved having 2 bathrooms. Couldn’t watch tv because the Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect. Wi fi was hit and miss overall.

Great place to stay!

The place was very nice. The location was great! Right by the river was amazing! The only issue was the tvs. Very difficult to use and figure out. Had to call someone to come help and jm usually very good with electronics, but other than that it was fantastic.

It’s difficult to write this review - I’ve only ever given 5* on vrbo… everyone was nice including the owner. Our problems are with the unit — upon entry there is a weird mildew/musty smell, very unappealing to walk into. The entry door has a keypad - the numbers do not light up and there’s no outside light so in the dark it’s very hard to see. Also the entry door had to be “jimmied” to actually lock including on the inside. The sliding door also doesn’t close properly - you have to be strong and creative to actually get the door locked (housekeeping must struggle to lock cause it was unlocked upon arrival). The toilet was backed up after the first use (only urine) had to ask for a plunger. The ice was frozen solid/brick in the freezer (ice maker) emptied it out and looked for fresh ice in the am - nope - that was broken too. There’s no blow dryer (and it’s not listed as provided) but would’ve been a nice touch… along with an extra blanket. There’s only the comforter and sheets - that’s it! The furniture is well kept but old. You have to sleep on the edge of the bed to not fall/role into the middle. As long as you stayed on the edge the bed was comfortable. We stayed in a dog friendly unit so we appreciated how clean it was (excluding the smell). The one thing that really grossed me out — I happened to be nearby when housekeeping was cleaning another unit and watched her put the USED quilt back on the bed - yuck! This also was a pet friendly unit and I find that nasty.

Bed was soft and sinking in the middle, deck was infected with wasp and spider webs.

Same as above , old bed sinking in middle never got a good night sleep, hallway dirty, deck infected with wasp.
