Pros:âą Great location at an affordable price!âą Amazing private poolâą Open living space great for spending time with family and friendsâą Extremely responsive host (we had a shower drainage issue that was resolved within 90 minutes) Cons:âą Kitchen was not as well-stocked as you would hope. No measuring spoons, only a 1/3 c, 1 c, and 2 c measuring cups. No crockpot. âą Queen beds very low to the floor. Maybe 18â-24â high. Fairly significant when youâre in your 40s. Logistical points:âą The house is right on a golf course. We had a neighbor warn us that stray balls regularly pose a danger to him and his family. He specifically referenced the pool being a dangerous area; just want to be sure youâre paying attention! âą There are two bathrooms, one on each side of the home. This is *doable,* but with 4 adults and 9 children it was definitely a challenge. Lol. âą The loft area is up a ladder, not stairs. Overall:I would recommend this place for two families or one larger family! The pool, hot tub, and deck area provide a great space to hang out together without feeling cramped. Because of there only being two bathrooms, I would not recommend this property for a group of adults. I think that would be difficult, unless you have a very low maintenance group of men and women. The kitchen is great for cooking, but it definitely needs additional tools to be considered âfully stocked.â Great experience overall, and you canât beat the price for the OBX!
