Beautiful property. We were impressed with the high end appliances and amenities. We often rent on Lake Michigan in the summer, but many of us liked watching the boaters and skiers on the lake, and viewing the hills on the other side of the lake. We didn’t miss Lake Muchigan

We had a fantastic stay and would definitely rent this home again. It was the perfect setup for spending time with family and having our kids’ friends join us.The house has plenty of space to gather, with large tables that were great for family dinners, games, and hanging out together. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking for a group easy.The outdoor space was one of the highlights. The large yard gave the kids plenty of room, and the lake was wonderful with a sandy bottom that made swimming and being in the water really enjoyable. The dock was excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything the lake had to offer.Overall, it’s a great lake house for families and groups. Comfortable, well-equipped, and set up perfectly for making memories together. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful, spacious, and private lakefront home on the Northwest part of Burt Lake. Property manager was very communicative and did a great job assisting with any questions or needs. 25 minute drive to Mackinac, so we spent a day on Mackinac Island to break up the trip a little bit. The kitchen was great and kids had blast parties playing pickleball and running around the property. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for all of your assistance in making this an enjoyable stay, Danielle.

Family Vacation

The property met our needs during our family reunion. The home does some repairs and updating. some of these were communicated to the property manager. In addition we would suggest upgrading internet service as it is so slow that it is almost unusable. The rental company was very helpful throughout our stay and I would highly recommend booking direct with them for any future stay.

We enjoyed beautiful views of the lake, a large, private yard and outdoor space with plenty of seating, a peaceful pier, and a calm lake that was great for swimming. The management company was responsive when we needed assistance or had questions. The house has some quirks (e.g., the freezer lives outside) and could use a few updates - specifically, the toilets and dishwashers - to minimize inconveniences, but overall, we had a nice stay.

Be very careful renting this property. When we stayed in June 2026 the dock was not installed and we had no access to boating or fishing. I had asked to reschedule and later dates were available however the host and management company were dishonest and lied to us. I would not recommend renting this property.

Several weeks before your arrival, we proactively contacted you to explain that the unusually high-water levels from the spring flooding were impacting dock installation on the inland lakes. We also explained that if the dock could not be installed at all, we would look into the possibility of moving your reservation back a week, if availability allowed. Fortunately, that was not necessary. The dock was installed on the day of your arrival, prior to the 4:00 p.m. check-in time, with nine sections (approximately 72 feet) safely in place. We also followed up before your arrival to let you know exactly what to expect. While we understand your disappointment that the full dock could not be installed due to conditions beyond anyone's control, we respectfully disagree with the statement that we were dishonest. We communicated openly and in advance, and we did not hear of any concerns during your stay until after your departure. Additionally, we provided you with a refund as a gesture of goodwill for your disappointment with the dock, despite having fully disclosed the situation beforehand. We are disappointed this was not mentioned in your review. We remain committed to transparent communication and providing our guests with accurate information, even when unforeseen circumstances arise. - Vacation Properties of Northern Michigan
