Poor customer communication at Nashville's Wyndham destination condo
Condo was dated but, clean and in a great location. Lacked the personal touches and/or items of other VRBO rentals that we usually rent. Such as things like, cards, games, various kitchen items, bowls and plates were hard to get to, owners list of local places to eat or visit or lists of tv channels. We loved visiting Nashville. Loved the Comedy Bus tour. Not only very funny but, an awesome tour around Nashville! Loved going to the different restaurants, Grand Old Opry, the Gaylord Opryland Resort and the Jack Daniel's Tour.
However, from initial checkin to checkout, there was complete lack of communication and disorganization from the Wyndham Destinstion Company. At check-in , although I had received several complete reservation confirmations via the VRBO APP as well as through emails, they were incomplete while checking in. They had us only staying one night rather than the 3 that was on my VRBO app and email system. AFTER standing in lobby for 30 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes of being pressured to attend a 90 minute presentation to buy in on a Wyndham time share, they finally said that we were set. But , instead, EVERY DAY, I would receive a text saying that we would need to check out at 10:00 am that day. I would have to take time and worry EVERY DAY to get confirmation that that was not happening , that we had paid for 3 nights. EVERY DAY that we left for site seeing, we were all worried that our stuff would be removed by staff or that there would be another guest at our door ready to move in when we got back. It was very frustrating.
On day of check out, Recieved an invoice for a late checkout. We DID NOT check out late and texted when we left at 10:00am. However, I did ASK about a late check out the day before, just in case we may have needed it. NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE WAS MENTIONED. And I even asked about any additional charges. But, we were charged even though we checked out at 10:00!
Extremely poor service in regards to someone personally working on making our stay relaxing, and worry-free. It was impersonal, disorganized and not worry-free.
We wondered if we would have agreed to listen to the 90 minute Wyndham Vacation Time Share presentation that customer service would have been better.
Loved Nashville. Condo was dated but, nice. Great location.
Dissatisfied with OVERALL WYNHAM VACATION customer relations.
