Eagles Perch is located along Lake Petenwell in Rome Wisc. Bring your family, your recreational vehicles, your golf clubs, and hiking shoes as our Log Home gets you in the heart of it all. Get away and retreat to our custom-built Golden Eagle Log Cabin Home, which is complete with 2 Bedrooms, 2 full Bathrooms, and a spacious loft with additional sleeping and sitting areas. Home sits on 3.6 acres in Rome – Wisconsin, directly across the street from Lake Petenwell, with wooded paths leading you right to the water for the beach or piers. The master bathroom is complete with a full shower and whirlpool tub, treating you to a spa-like experience. All the luxuries of home plus a relaxing and recreational outdoor setting. Perfect setting for your family getaway, world-class golf trip, or just spending time with friends creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Less than 10-minute drive from world-renowned Sand Valley Golf, Mammoth Dunes, and Lake Arrowhead Golf Courses, as well as Northern Bay Golf Resort located just 20 minutes away. Spend the days soaking up the rays on the beach or out boating/fishing the waters of Petenwell Lake, the 2nd largest in the State of Wisconsin. Watch the eagles soar above on the water or as you explore beautiful scenic hiking/walking trails around the area. There are many UTV/snowmobile trails to head out on right from the house. Not only that, but also located just a few minutes from Wisconsin Trapshooting Association (WTA) and 45 minutes away are the Wisconsin Dells’ many waterparks, amusement parks, go-karts, and countless other attractions for your family and friends to enjoy.

After a great day on the water or exploring the surrounding countryside it’s time to return home and relax. Your choice of sitting around the outdoor fire pit, or inside the vaulted ceiling great room equipped with an indoor fireplace, or enjoy a peaceful sit on the deck with your favorite drink. Do not miss the beautiful sunsets over the lake, or the breathtaking views of the bright star-lit sky on a clear night that you just can’t get in the city.

This log home comfortably accommodates 8 guests with modern comforts like WIFI, Smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry area. Weekend Getaway with Friends

We had a great stay at Eagles Perch. The house was great and had a good variety of amenities for our group. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had before our stay. The house is in a great location not far from some local restaurants and bars but located in a very peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend staying at Eagles Perch!

Perfect Birthday Weekend Getaway

This cabin was a perfect getaway for our group of friends to celebrate a birthday! It was quiet and fully equipped with all the things to make a big movie-style breakfast. We got to play some of the board games available and even take a walk to the lake. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place

We had a lovely time at this log home. It had everything we needed, plus a lot more. The fireplace was great to come home too after a day of ice fishing. We hope to be back for another ice fishing trip, plus in the summer to enjoy this great house and area. Thanks again for your great hospitality while we’re staying at the place.

Great getaway

This property and host were amazing. The home is beautiful, well maintained, and has everything you need for a nice stay. The property is gorgeous with lots of wildlife. The owner was accommodating and communicative, would stay there in the future.

Highly recommend!

Home was beautiful inside and out. Plenty of activities to keep kids and adults entertained. The outdoor fire pit and games were a hit. Plenty of room in the driveway for a boat trailer and several cars.

Golf Trip

Another great stay while golfing at Sand Valley and Arrowhead! Our golfing group had a tremendous time at Eagles Perch, even on the one rain afternoon we kept busy with all the games/amenities in the home. This is our second stay, and we will be back again for our future golf trips.

GREAT CABIN GETAWAY

Hello, We stayed here last summer and it was the perfect set up for our weekend! We had plenty of room for everyone comfortably, and were minutes away from Lake Arrowhead and Sand Valley Golf courses that we came up to play. It was very convenient to get down to the lake as well after our rounds. Would recommend as we will be returning again this summer.

This rental was amazing! It exceeded all of our expectations and went beyond. We had everything we needed and MORE! It is stocked with all the essentials. It has SO many activities, games, and leisure areas. The location was absolutely ideal and we will definitely be back!

Family get together

Our family had a great time at your place and will be returning in the future. Your house is well stocked for all of our needs and had a great time with the different games in the basement, along with the nightly fires at the fire pit. We had daily visits from the deer and got to see numerous Eagles flying over to Lake area.

Very peaceful!

This property exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and offerings with this rental property. Everything is well maintained, and furnishings are nice. Winter Vacation

Great spot for our winter vacation this past year! We were close to the lake for my husband and kids to go ice fishing, and close to walking trails for snowshoeing too. We also lucked out having snow when we were here so the snowmobiling trails were open for us to bring the sleds up! Great warm cozy cabin feel and a big natural fire place to warm up by at night. This was the perfect getaway and we look forward to coming back next year!

Family get away

Extremely nice log home and well maintained and equipped for all our family's needs. Loved out time around the firepit and just sitting on the deck while watching the deer and eagles overhead. We will definitely be back again to take in all that this house has to offer in nature and proximity to Sand Valley for our golf games. The family also enjoyed the basement full of fun games and the swims on the sandy beach. Thanks again for making it a Memeorial get away Jim

Checking out Petenwell

The house seemed like it was just built. It was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The basement had games and the kids played there all night while the adults relaxed by the fire at night. It is down the street from the Lure, which was a fun relaxing bar. We rented a boat from the lure and had a great day fishing on the lake. It was perfect for what we were looking for and would definetely go back. Thanks for a great stay.

Weekend Getaway

Definitely 5 out of 5 stars! Very clean and comfortable. Four of us stayed for the weekend and have plenty of room. The kitchen has all amenities and then some! Speakers system is a nice perk, especially since we forgot our blue tooth speaker. All the games in the basement made for a fun night of competition. We were able to unwind and forget about the hustle and bustle by the fire and in the dining room with fantastic views.

Expectations Exceeded

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Eagles Perch! The house is situated on the HUGE lot perfectly, very private and setback from the road a good distance, although I don't think we saw a single vehicle drive by the entire time we were there. The fire pit was great for s'mores and very large with plenty of stocked firewood! The interior of the home is gorgeous, spacious and well stocked with all the essentials. It's very clean and modern, beds were comfy and the whole house Bluetooth speaker system was a nice feature. The basement game room is awesome and was a big hit for the 5 teenagers that were with me. Plenty of activities to do nearby but honestly, the house is so nice, you almost hate to leave. The host is very responsive and very attentive! We all loved our stay at Eagles Perch and if we ever decide to visit this area again, Eagles Perch is where we'll be staying! Great house, Dave! Thanks for the memories!
