À propos du quartier

Myrtle Beach

Everything looks exactly as described in the listing. The furniture could use a little updating and you do need to bring all of your essentials with you (as clearly communicated by the host) but you really can’t beat the ocean view or price. The rental office and homeowner are extremely kind and accommodating. I would absolutely stay again.

The room was well cleaned and the towels and bed sheets were all nicely packed. The lazy river however definitely needed to be taken care of. We was there for 5 nites and not one time did the hotel sweep it.

Family vacation at the Boardwalk

We were so excited to come to Myrtle beach for our family vacation. Upon arriving, we were able to get into our room with ease, the location is great, very close to Broadway at the beach, restaurants and a few minutes away from all the shops on the boardwalk. The room was clean, our kids enjoyed the pools and also being able to walk down to the ocean. The property manager was extremely nice and informative. We would stay here again!

Room was filthy. No toilet paper or anything to start you off as it stated it would be. Wasp nest, dirty men's underwear, filthy patio furniture and cigarette butt on the patio. Enough dirt out there to fill a bucket. Unit was not clean, had to clean before we could settle in. Nothing like the pictures on the add. We even cleaned and mopped before leaving as we didn't want the next guests to have to do a clean like we did. Whatever cleaning company they use should be fired! We could smell weed all hours of the day and night when out on the balcony! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Furniture was junky with polyester slip cover on the sofa and it was even stained up!! DISGUSTING!

Connie, The unit that you reserved is the only unit we have in our program at that resort. The homeowner did purchase a new sofa several months ago and that is the only change to the unit. We do encourage all of our guests upon check-in or as soon as possible to report to our office if there is an issue with the unit. Upon review of our notes on your reservation, we did not receive any notification that you were dissatisfied with your unit.

Unit 234

Location of the property is very nice. The unit itself was just OK. The furniture is frayed. The coffee pot had a lid that did not fit. Suggest you update to a Keurig. Also suggest you get new pillows for the beds. While it was just my husband and myself, I cannot see six people sharing that unit. The weather was perfect

Boardwalk Beach ...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great. Great pool and lazy river. However, when there was an issue of having stool in the baby pool it took 3 phone calls and a discussion with the daytime maintenance person to get it taken care of. That absorbed over 2 1/2 hours before anyone would step up and take care of it. Actual unit is a nice size, but I do feel like they could spend one week of their income to update furnishings. Beds were hard as a rock, even on the Murphy bed. The couch was dilapidated and when you sat it in you practically sunk to the ground. Supplied Products were minimal. Towel supply should be a minimum of 2-4 a person. We had 5 people and four towels. The handle on the porch sliding glass door broke off while we were there. It was already cracked when we got there, and because we did not report it until after 10am upon discharge we were charged just under $100. The replacement part was $31.99 at Home Depot. It was two screws. This should have been considered 'aging and wear and tear' instead of putting that charge on the renter. I've managed properties before and you always have to consider aging and wear. I was very disappointed by this choice on the property. We will not select this property when in MB and would not recommend it to others.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice condo. If you don't have transportation, you have to walk to eat and get transportation to do things. Several emails were sent out on the check-in and check out process weren't followed, they would charge your credit card. It seems all I did was read emails and make sure directions were followed. It seems we did the maids work. Nice pool, spa and lazy river!! Nice room too!

Okay

Location was great, but looking around, it’s definitely the least updated. Communication with our booking agent was great, lots of emails, check in was easy- emailed instructions day of. However, the laundry on site, is 2 washers/dryers in one of the 3 buildings that the whole time 1 of the washers was broken. I had to call and our agent hadn’t even been on site. I walked to the office, thinking it would be in there. The office was the nicest building of all of them. Half the time the jets in the spa were broken. I understand being that close to the beach is hard to keep sand out but we had sand in our room before ever going to the beach. Make sure you come prepared to do maids service and bring everything but the kitchen sink with you. It’s extra to make the beds or get new towels. You have to strip the beds and put the sheets in a bag as well as any towels before leaving. Also take out the trash. We stayed 5 nights and with our family of 5, we only received 12 towels. Being so hot and in the water, we all showered daily. I wish there had been towel exchange or something. Overall it was in a great location, just really came on vacation to relax.

Samantha, We are pleased the location of the resort met your needs and you found our services easy and convenient and informative. We do apologize on behalf of the resort that their facilities were in need of maintenance. Unfortunately, the HOA and resort decide when they will do maintenance and preventative maintenance. We do encourage all of our guests to thoroughly read the Rental Agreement. In the agreement it does provide some very important information. Upon arrival we request our guests to do a walk-thru of the unit. If any imperfections are found, they should report it to our office so we can correct the issue as soon as possible. Your suggestion of a towel exchange has been noted. During your stay we hope you experienced all the wonderful things that Myrtle Beach has to offer and we hope to have you as our guest the next time you plan your vacation in Myrtle Beach!
