Family friendly lake home with something for everyone. Enjoy your morning coffee on the upstairs balcony while you whip up a delicious breakfast on the Blackstone. When the most important meal of the day is complete, gather on the middle deck to plan the rest of your day. Head down to the private dock for all the water activities you could imagine from fishing to kayaking and paddleboarding. Have a boat? Bring that too! Lake Decatur is perfect for tubing and wakeboarding with the launch just across the lake. When the sun goes down, you can light up the firepit and roast hot dogs and marshmallows! Or head inside for a family friendly games like Yahtzee and Uno.
Need quiet time? Snuggle up with a book from our library in front of the fireplace, or flip on the TV and catch your favorite show through Roku guest access. Maybe this is a workcation? Enjoy the view while you solve all the worlds problems. You will find something for everyone to do at our beautiful home!

Amazing Lake House

We had the best time at this location right on the river front! The hosts made sure we had everything we needed. The attention to detail was very appreciated in all aspects. We will definitely be back!

Stress Free

You'll want for nothing here. Everything you need is provided, just need to get groceries. Check out is also very easy and minimal. The house is comfortable and relaxing. The lake is wonderful.

Amazing!

This is our 3rd year coming back and look forward to continuing the family tradition! We love swimming all day and hanging out with the family playing games all night! Water is great and the house offers plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable!

The Host was quick to answer my questions . The house was beautiful and clean with lots of space for everyone . The kitchen has everything you could need to cook a meal big or small. Baby stuff was on point high chair playpen kids dishes and cups . The lake is absolutely beautiful across from us was a momma and her baby bald eagles. They were so fun to watch. The paddle board and kayak was fun. Fishing with the kids was great. Great place would love to go again.

This was a good 'home base' for our family while in Decatur. We wished we'd had more time to enjoy the 'toys'.

Beautiful location and wonderful amenities

We were very impressed right when we arrived. These guys have thought of everything. Place was clean, and just like the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was nice to have two bedrooms downstairs and the master upstairs. The recreation rooms downstairs and the living area upstairs were perfect for hanging out. Big dining room for meals. We had no issues with anything and our host checked in several times during the weekend to make sure all was well. I was happy to pay for such a lovely place on the lake. We used the kayak and loved the several floors of balconies that overlooked the lake. What a beautiful place. We will definitely book this place again when we're back in town. Thank you!

Excellent property! Spacious inside and well furnished. Beds and furniture were very comfortable, and the home was incredibly clean and well maintained. The host’s communications were great, and we would definitely stay again!!

Great weekend at the lake!

Our group had a great stay. We had a great time with the indoor and outdoor toys. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed.

Perfect lake retreat

This is the best experience I’ve had using VrBo. The owner of this property is so organized and has thought of everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. It’s a great property and has something for everyone! I would definitely stay here again.

From first booking the host was communicating with us about the property. They answered all my questions and they even provided a very useful guide to the property and the surrounding area!The house was spotless and every room had extra bedding. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We stayed for three nights and prepared every meal we ate in the kitchen. There were board games to use, a dart board, ring toss and a big connect 4 game. We lacked for nothing. There were internet connected tvs throughout the house that were easy to use. The view of the lake was beautiful. The back of the house had an upper deck with seating and the walk out basement had plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the views.Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again.

Memorial Weekend

We had a wonderful time at the Lakeside property. All the decks with great views and plenty of seating. The inside of the house was very comfortable too. Always got an immediate response from owners when asking a question. Would love to stay again!

Comfortable, Cozy Lake Getaway

Beautiful and well-kept lake property with very friendly, helpful owners. Perfect location if you’re looking for a relaxing, low-key lake environment to share with friends and family. Close to stores, restaurants, and regional attractions. Interior is large but intimate, so people can have their own space without feeling isolated. Nice place to vacation for a few days!

Beautiful lake location

We loved the lake house. The house was spotless, everything we needed was there and the amenities were great. From enjoying coffee on the decks in the morning to watching the sun come up to grilling out in the evening, it was the perfect place to stay. Thank you

Awesome lake house

This place is exceptional! The owners are very accessible, thoughtful and helpful. Cooking Thanksgiving dinner was a pleasure in their kitchen! Eating together at the beautiful dining room table was perfect. Plenty of games, puzzles, books and televisions provide fun entertainment and relaxation. We hope to return!

We have always spent time on the water. From a young age tubing on Grandpa's boat, then traveling as adults to experience the amazing lakes and rivers of IL, MI, WI, etc. with friends and family. We've always wanted our own happy place that was close enough to drive, but far enough for a true get away.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

As the house sits up on a bluff, the views could keep one entertained for hours. The Eagles, Woodpeckers, Hummingbirds, (and lots more) are beautiful to watch, and even late summer, migrating pelicans pay this beautiful lake a visit! When we arrive and walk out onto the deck, we are immediately on "lake time". The sunrise is spectacular and the sunsets are even better. Being 3 hours from major metro areas like Chicago, Indianapolis and St Louis, this is the perfect location to get away from it all.
