Retraite Rustique en Montagne, 5 Chambres 2 Salles de Bain

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are truly glad that your family was able to come together to celebrate and honor your mother's life, and that the home provided a comfortable space for everyone during such a meaningful occasion. It was our pleasure to host you, and we appreciate your kind words about the accommodations and communication. At the same time, we were disappointed to learn that additional gatherings took place at the property without prior approval. Our home is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, and we work hard to be respectful of our neighbors by maintaining clear quiet-hour expectations and occupancy guidelines. We always welcome guests to reach out in advance regarding any special circumstances or planned gatherings so that we can discuss accommodations and ensure everything remains in harmony with community expectations. We also noted that the home was not left in the condition outlined in our house guidelines. While we understand that family events can be emotional and busy occasions, clear communication and adherence to house rules help us continue providing a welcoming experience for all future guests. We sincerely appreciate your stay and are grateful that the weekend was meaningful for your family. We wish you and your loved ones all the best and thank you again for choosing our home during such an important time.

Dear Ray, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! Yes, we are central to it all which is nice for our guests. It’s fantastic to know that you enjoyed the comfy beds and the spacious living and dining area as well. We have added additional seating and additional plates and cups and intensive for large groups to have extended family meals in comfort and with ease. So glad you were able to enjoy this. We aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where our guests can relax and enjoy their time together. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future! Warmest regards, Leah

Dear Deborah, Wow! Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you found the beds fabulous, the location perfect, and your host and property manager made a positive impression on your stay. Honestly, when we first started hosting our family made a list of nonnegotiables we wanted in the home. My husband wanted lots of TVs and alllll the channels, the kids wanted internet, coffee maker, coffee pods on hand, a fenced in backyard, I wanted the best most deliciously comfortable mattresses, lots of pillows for every room, lots of toilet paper on hand, trash bags, and tea bags and a rice cooker! I also wanted a huge washer and dryer. Comforts of home in your home away from home! So glad you enjoyed the mattresses you would laugh seeing our family going and trying all the different mattresses and eating them like Goldilocks. Only the best will do! Your kind words truly warm our hearts and motivate us to keep providing the best experience for our guests. It’s always our goal to create a welcoming and comfortable environment, and we’re so glad you felt that during your time with us. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope to welcome you back for another fantastic stay in the future! With warmest regards, Leah

Dear Kim, Thank you so much for your thoughtful encouraging words! What a fun joyful time getting ready together for a wedding! Wonderful! We are pleased to hear that you found our home very clean and enjoyed the most comfortable beds—it's fantastic to know it was perfect for your group of 10 celebrating a wedding! The spaciousness and having two full baths really do make a difference for gatherings, and we’re glad it worked out so well for you. I have to share a funny story: when we first set up our home to welcome guests, I insisted on having lots of mirrors and plenty of access to full-length ones. I joked with my husband that it was so folks could check out their outfits, but little did he know I was secretly betting on how many compliments I’d get on my decor choices! I guess I won that bet! We are ecstatic that you chose our home for such a joyful celebration, and we would absolutely love to welcome you back anytime. Please come and stay with us again—we would be delighted to have you! Warmest regards, Leah

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review—we’re truly grateful you chose our home during such an exciting time relocating your family to Tennessee! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed the sunsets, the space, and that the ping pong table was a hit with the kids—that always makes us smile 😊 Oh my lands, we had no idea that you were not comfortable with the temperatures. Bless your hearts! In the welcome guide I explained the air was set to comfort mode, along with how you might change it to your own comfort—or that I could adjust it for you. Even our sweet neighbor, who baked you that homemade fresh sourdough bread as a welcome gift, would have gladly helped if needed as well as her dear husband for any maintance needs you might have had as he is the property manager. We always aim to give guests their space to relax and enjoy the home, but we did check in multiple times to ensure everything was comfortable. I am at a loss why this wasn’t mentioned during your stay, as we truly would have loved the opportunity to fix it right away. Looking back at the activity log, the system was set to comfort mode and did fluctuate as designed to maintain temperature. That said, your comfort is our top priority, and we absolutely want guests to adjust the HVAC to their liking—or simply reach out so we can do it for you. If doors are left open, it can make it harder for the system to regulate properly, but we’re always here to help troubleshoot in real time. Please, for any future stay, let us know right away of any needs, discomforts, or preferences so we can resolve them immediately—your comfort, satisfaction, and enjoyment mean everything to us! For reference, as mentioned in the welcome guide: guests sensitive to humidity can use the dehumidifiers, fans provided can be moved freely for airflow, and there’s even a portable AC unit upstairs. We also provide air purifiers for allergies. The thermostat is located just inside the front entry under the stairs—simply touch and adjust it, or message us anytime and we’ll take care of it for you. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the home itself. Yes, the home is 51 years old, it is my childhood home and the home and I both require regular maintance, upgrades, and tlc. Asnoted in the listing—but we’ve made many upgrades with our guests’ comfort in mind. These include A tankless water heater si contInious hot water in endlesss supply so plenty of hot showers for all guests, a new electric system, new showers and flooring in both bathrooms, along with a new washer, dryer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and oven. Several rooms feature updated flooring, and every bed is outfitted with new comfort-touch mattresses, box springs, and fresh, clean linens. Because the home sits on a hill, we’ve installed custom water pressure aids to improve the experience as much as possible, and we’re glad to hear it was satisfactory with the fixtures provided. It was truly our pleasure to accommodate your arrival. Since there wasn’t a prior late checkout, we were happy to offer you a complimentary early check-in. We also appreciated your communication regarding your move and were glad to help coordinate parking for your U-Hauls, trailers, and multiple vehicles—even checking in with the neighbors to ensure everything went smoothly. We also provided a complentary late check out as we did not have a next guest early check in to help you ease into your transition to your new home. As a family-owned business, we take pride in offering a plesant, comfortable, and accommodating experience with personal touches you might not find in larger corporate properties. We may not be a modern high-rise, but we strive to provide a welcoming, homey, clean, com space where guests can relax and feel cared for. Thank you again for your kind words—we’d absolutely love to host you and your family again anytime. Safe travels and best wishes on your new adventure in Tennessee!

Dear Linda, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the great location and found our responsiveness and the furnishings to your liking. It’s also wonderful to know that your dogs had a comfortable stay with access to the fenced-in backyard! Your insights are invaluable, and we will address these matters promptly to enhance the experience for future guests. Thank you once again for your valuable input, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for an even better stay! Warm regards, Leah

Dear Lyndia, Thank you for sharing your thoughtful input with us. We are truly delighted to hear that your mobility-challenged family member was able to join you and felt safe, comfortable, and connected with the family. We understand that spending quality time with all members of the family, especially across multiple generations, is invaluable. I’m glad to inform you that we have had a plumber address the sink issue, and it is now in proper working order. We truly appreciate you notifying us, as it allowed us the opportunity to rectify the situation for you and your guests. Additionally, we have begun some structural repairs in the home, as you mentioned, to ensure the comfort of all future guests. Yes the property manager and his wife are wonderful neighbors a few doors down who do an excellent job making sure the guests are comfortable, happy, needs met, and have delicious fresh out of the oven sourdough bread that is divine. Their preteens are energetic entrepreneurs in taking the trash cans back and forth to the road each week and completing a through inspection checklist after the cleaning team to ensure the house is pristine, spotless, and sanitized and guest ready. They are a precious family. Glad they were able to make your stay more comfortable. We hope you and your family had a wonderful, relaxing, and restorative time enjoying the home and its surroundings. We look forward to the pleasure of hosting you again in the future! Warm regards, Leah

We were pleased to provide a clean, sanitized, comfortable, and well-maintained home for this stay and strive to create an exceptional experience for every guest. While there were some positive aspects to the visit, sadly there were also many challenges. Communication regarding activities at the property was limited, and a larger gathering with additional visitors took place without prior approval the home was left in disarray. Because our home is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood with established quiet hours, we kindly ask guests to communicate any planned gatherings or additional visitors in advance so we can remain respectful of our neighbors and community guidelines. The home also required significantly more cleaning and attention after checkout than is typically expected. We take great pride in carefully preparing the property before each arrival and appreciate guests treating the home with the same care and respect during their stay. On a positive note, the guest shared that they found the home clean, comfortable, and well-prepared upon arrival. They also expressed how much they enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and were especially happy to observe local wildlife during their stay, including deer, wild turkeys, birds, squirrels, ladybugs, and other native species that are often seen around the property. We thank the guest for choosing our home and wish them all the best in their future travels.
