The property was exactly as pictured and the location on the beach was just wonderful. You can watch the sunrise from the bed in the loft and the neighboring properties don’t get as close to the water so the back deck has privacy.

Katherine, waking up to the sunrise from the loft bed is the detail that sets this place apart, and the back deck sitting closer to the water than its neighbours is what keeps it so private. The beach is ready whenever you want another early morning.

The beach was unbeatable. Steps away from the ocean. Gorgeous views from the loft. The a frame was pretty clean and definitely showed some wear on furnishings but hey it’s a beach house . You rent this one for the ocean!

Our stay at this summer loft was exactly the refreshing getaway our family needed. It’s a rare find to find a place that comfortably accommodates all three of us plus our dog, but this layout was perfect. We lucked out with gorgeous weather, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Amazing views and beach access. House was so cute and CLEAN. Had everything we needed. Location is amazing only 5-10 minutes from Historic Saint Augustine. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfecr Family Vacation

This dune house was the perfect vacation for my family. Its so close to the beach and not far from great restaurants. If you want a vacation that seems secluded but still close to town this is the spot. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing Beach Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time here. Great view and very close access to the beach. The place was clean and well stocked with all necessities.This is our second time here and we will definately be back.

We loved our stay at this beautiful little beach gem! The house is clean and nicely appointed with stunning views and right on the beach. We saw dolphins every morning and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. It's a quick 10 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine and we enjoyed shopping and dining there. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and hosts were very responsive. We would absolutely stay again and had a wonderful time!A few small things to note: the sliding door to the patio is a bear to open and close due to rust. Not the end of the world but could use a little TLC. Patio could use a little shade too. Laundry is not in the house but in the adjacent building. We were there in July and it was hot! They have 3 AC units that work well but it still gets a little warm inside that time of year. Just an FYI if you are traveling during that time period. A lovely beach getaway that we highly recommend!

Dune House is fantastic

Perfect location steps from the beach. Everything was great. Only downsides are that the porch could use a little shade/lounge furniture and there is very little privacy if traveling with children.

Excellent location. Gorgeous views from the loft. Loved walking the beach with our dogs. Management was very responsive. For example, I let them know that the patio furniture was in pretty bad shape and they brought four new chairs the next day which I was not expecting but very much appreciated! Re: prior reviews -- I could not believe my eyes when I read the review regarding rats from earlier this month (when we were about an hour away from the property). That has definitely been taken care of!I also read a few reviews that said it was very hot in the downstairs bedroom. There's a large portable fan that we used in the bedroom and we weren't hot at all. Overall loved being there!
