Saison 2019! Situé à environ 1/2 mile de Long Pond sur une route de sable tranquille, cette maison de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain a été construite en 2004. Le salon, la salle à manger et la cuisine partagent un espace ouvert et lumineux avec accès à la terrasse et à la cour arrière. Il y a une chambre à l'étage principal avec un lit queen et une salle de bain complète dans le couloir. Les deux autres chambres, une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec 2 lits jumeaux, et salle de bain complète sont au deuxième étage. Les chambres ont des fenêtres AC. Idéalement située, cette maison est à environ 5 minutes en voiture ou à une agréable balade à vélo du Wellfleet Center, des étangs et des plages de l'océan. Pleasant retreat

The house was just the right size and in a great location for what we were seeking. We could access beaches and the bike path by bike or by a short drive. We could walk out the door to lovely walking trails in the National Seashore. Nice dining room space for the 6 of us to gather and play games, work on art projects, or chat.

The location was great, literally a house nestled in the woods ( so much so, it was a little difficult to find). Very private! The house was well maintained, clean, and had a nice enclosed outdoor shower. We would certainly return there on our next trip to the Cape!

Great location but house needs work

The location of the property is great. The house is not maintained with care. The couches are old and very uncomfortable (and dirty!); the box spring upstairs is soiled; and there hasn't been an appropriate deep - cleaning: door frames are dirty, there is detritus underneath the couch cushions, there is dirt next to the refrigerator and under the garbage can area. The pans in the kitchen are old and the teflon is cracked to such a degree that I feared using them. No basic condiments like salt and pepper. Each room needs more light. And fixtures needs fixing. Management was very gracious and responsive, however.

August 2024 Review of 240 Old Long Pond

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, accessible to Long Pond and downtown Wellfleet.The property was poorly cleaned when we arrived ... we spent many hours cleaning it ourselves, including buying a mop (which we left at the property) so that we could better clean the floors. We also washed all of the utensils and the the utensil containers as we could see the dirt there.We left the property in much better shape than we found it.we also would have benefitted from more explicit instructions on the use of the TV ... we figured it out but it is a different system than conventional cable.We appreciated the outdoor patio space in additional to the living room/dining room. The bedrooms were fine.Overall, it was good experience, especially after the 1st day or 2 of cleaning that we did.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was not in great shape. Wasn’t well cleaned (many dead bugs in bedroom floors) toilets were old and dirty. Kitchen not well stocked AT ALL! No chopping block, no working coffee machine, cheese board that had a huge crack down the middle. No real outdoor space to use, no cushions on chairs outside, no umbrella. New grill was nice. For what was charged for this property, we feel robbed.

A great week at the Cape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 7th year at this location. With Covid we haven't been up to the cape since 2019. The property was the same as always. Clean, the perfect location with respect the proximity to the Ocean, the ponds and the Bay. We also had a ring side seat for the 2022 edition of the PMC which is always a treat.

Great location

Could use an extra chair in living room but the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots (and world’s largest supply of dull knives!). Byo salt/pepper etc. Easy walk to Long and Great ponds; we also walked to beach so as not to spend hours waiting for a parking spot to open. We also walked into town (we like to walk 😊)Hot water was always available for our party of 4 and we used the washer/dryer. I would have liked to wash the light blankets that were provided as they were soiled but the laundry posted that they should not go in the washer. All in all a nice place in the woods.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a phenomenal time in Wellfleet. Oceanview Realty was very responsive and had great policies in place for COVID safety. This particular property looked nice when we first got there but has a fairly strong cigarette smoke smell when the windows aren't open and there were a lot of bugs in the place.

Reviewer Comments: This is the third year we rented this house and worked with the realtor. Always a pleasant and professional experience! Managed to go out to eat a few times, beached at HOM most of the week, golfed, and relaxed. Only issues at the house were lots of insects found their way through the window A/C units, and the 2nd floor toliet ran constantly. Called the Realtor who responded right away and was told that maintenance would call to correct but I never heard from maintenance. This should get fixed because it is a waste of water.

Window ACs for the bedrooms were a plus as it was unusually warm for a few days. The only comment I had was I suspect the previous renter smoked in one of the bedrooms.

There was no propane for the grill. The 1 and only fan was broken

Ok property but seems expensive. Living room small and dark. No propane for the grill, the 1 and only fan ws broken. Sliding door in and out of house was destined to break. WORSE - they have dirt all around the deck which means you track dirt into the house - take an outdoor shower and walk on direct !!! Who does this?
