Lovely cottage just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. We were close enough to Acadia that it wasnât a long drive. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with kitchen necessities. We saw deer in the yard several times. Kathy was very nice and chatted with us during our stay.
This cottage was great! Very clean and cozy. Very well supplied. Did not have an opportunity to use the pickleball court. Great location and the hosts were very responsive. Saw deer on the drive up to the cottage. Would definitely stay there again.
A great few days at Kelly and Greg's cottage-beautiful private setting with gardens, open yard, deer and pickleball court.Yet still within an easy drive to Acadia and Ellsworth. Cottage clean, comfortable and well equipped. Hosts very easy to contact with questions.Would definitely go back. Oh, then there's the "welcome dog", Remy!
We absolutely loved our time in this charming cottage. Kelly and Greg have thought of everything needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The cottage is situated just far enough away from the main attraction sites to allow us to unwind in a peaceful space. The sleeping accommodation met our needs perfectly. The kitchen is set up well with plenty of dishes, utensils, coffee and tea- well thought out. Super clean. We will definitely plan on coming back!
When I first saw the photos of Kellyâs cabin online I wasnât sure I believed what i saw â a picture perfect representation of the July getaway to Maine we were hoping for. And then when we arrived we were blown away. The coziness of the cabin, lushness of the grounds and utter charm of the home Kelly and Greg have opened to guests was a dream come true. We ended up spending even more of our trip than we originally planned in the cabin and reading into the night on the porch together because we couldnât get enough of the sweetness of the Loveshack. We are not pickleball players ourselves but we can only imagine this would be a dream destination for anyone enamored of the sport. My only warning is that Google maps and apple GPS are unreliable for navigating the neighborhood so donât rely on your phones when you arrive â make sure to follow the signs and the mailboxes!
The pictures do not do this place justice! It was absolutely stunning and charming - both inside and out. It was perfect for a peaceful getaway and our hosts were outstanding! There are places to stay that are close to Acadia National Park but this place was just right! When we first arrived we especially enjoyed being greeted by wild deer and the not so wild Remy the very friendly resident lab.
