The property is a short walk to the lifts, restaurants, and shops. Perfect location for serious skiers and those looking to take a relaxing approach to the slopes.
We had a great week stay at Solitude Village. The unit was perfect for my spouse and I - it was clean and good size for the two of us and great location to lift / restaurants in the village. We enjoyed the amenities, including ski locker, hot tubs, and laundry. Thanks for a great holiday!
My wife and I decided to take a last minute trip to Solitude and this place fit the bill, everything was great, place was clean and suited our needs perfectly, host was very helpful and accommodating!
A "Studio" without a kitchen! But very clean, comfortable, and perfect location.
The listing implied there was a kitchen, stating that the property was a "studio." In reality, it was a very nice hotel room, with only a fridge, microwave, a few paper plates and bowls, and minimal silverware tucked into the only closet. No counter space. The bed was comfortable and the location was fantastic. I just wish the listing had more clearly indicated that there was no kitchen, since we had been planning on cooking some of our own meals during our stay.
Location was great for a quick getaway. Food options are somewhat lacking, but the property itself was great. Footsteps away from the lift and all activities. Gene was a great host - very responsive. Would stay there again if I go back to the area.
This property is just steps away from the lifts. So convenient!! It was exactly as advertised and I felt comfortable when staying there. Gene the property manager made sure to check in on me and even helped arrange for luggage assistance since I dislocated my shoulder when snowboarding. Very pleased with my stay!
Nice amenities, like ski locker and free parking. Short walk to the lift. And enough fridge space and microwave for easy food prep. Would recommend to others. Host was very quick to respond and very clear communication with anything that came up.
The heated parking and the walkability to the slopes make this property a good deal. Also enjoyed chatting with the locals which own property in the complex in the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Restaurants nearby limited but not bad for a good meal. Little complicated to find but instructions and communication were good. Overall, excellent.
Was very clean and well kept. Poorly supplied with utensils, but we got our own. Somewhat pricey for the size of the unit. The bed was comfortable though.
Room was perfect for the two of us - had slight problem finding the key, but a gentlemen who was previously on the board helped get us into Solitude Club and introduced us to Natalie (i believe that was her name). She helped us figure out we were at the incorrect box - from then on it was smooth sailing.
This was a wonderful lodging experience. Every detail was taken care of, it was immaculate and Gene, the owner, was a wonderful host, making sure we felt at home and knew all that we needed to know about Solitude and our stay there. The studio was bright and sunny with a wonderful view. It was super comfortable and quiet, making for great sleeping after a day of premier skiing. The skiing was fabulous and the instruction was the best! I can't wait to return next season for what will be an annual vacation for us now. Thank you Gene and glad to see you on Home Away this year!

This efficiency is conveniently located in Solitude village, where you can walk to the lifts in about 2 minutes, or take a 6 minute drive to Brighton. There are a few good restaurants in easy walking distance, but be warned, there are no grocery stores close by, so bring what you need, including coffee, tea, breakfast foods, etc. Two mugs, two glasses, two of each utensil (spoons, forks, knives), and paper plates, paper bowls, and coffee filters are provided, but bring everything else you might need. There is no kitchen, but here is a mini-fridge and microwave. Although small, the efficiency was very comfortable, and you will not find a better deal for ski in-ski out lodging!
Being ski in, ski out, is awesome. We have stayed in this condo before with a full bedroom and kitchen. Needless to say, this studio was much cozier, but it had everything we needed. I would suggest replacing the coffee maker to something a little better....I took to drinking tea instead. Cooking (microwave & toaster) was challenging but doable. There is no balcony fyi. Nice view of the slopes and the village. For our budget, it was what we could hope for ( we got a great deal on the one bedroom previous stay). All in all, a great ski trip. After all, it's the snow we come for!
This studio was very handy to the shops and restaurants at Solitude. The heated garage was very nice to have available. Shower in the morning. The water is hot then. Not too much hot water in the evening. There are no ice machines in the building and only one tiny ice tray in the freezer. Would have liked to be able to make more ice at one time. The unit is quiet and has a great view of the village. The snow was awesome. I have never seen this much snow up the canyon. If you find the lift prices too pricey at Solitude, drive up the road about 5 minutes to Brighton. It was a great place to ski.
Have been skiing my entire life and love the peaceful quaint village environment that Solitude offers. I understand our guests seek the best property for the best value and our high return guest visits assures us we are delivering the best rental experience in the village.
We are the original owners of this property and chose it for its prime location, western exposure, and it's quiet location in the building. We are avid skiers and Solitude delivers the goods storm after storm! You too will love our home and return year after year as many of our friends and guests have.
This studio is extremely unique in Powderhorn and the only rental of its kind. This condo is ideal for a couple seeking a cozy affordable getaway with or without a young child or perfect for 2 friends traveling together seeking separate bedding in the same unit.
We have handy peg racks in both the home entrances for hanging and drying, gloves, hats, mittens, neck gators, socks, etc. Our guests love these Ski details. Our electronics are state of the art with flat screen Roku HDTV and WIFI internet.
The home has great views with western exposure filling the rooms with a warm sundown glow at the end of the ski day.
