Great location!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 months after we sold our house and before we moved overseas. Great location and close to a huge park with miles of trails! Owner was very responsive if we needed anything and we really enjoyed our stay.

FIRST AND LAST TIME AT THIS PROPERTY AND VRBO ... NEVER COMING BACK!!!!

I have booked houses many times before through VRBO.Never experience something like this before.The house did not feel clean. Bedding was disgusting! The extra blankets were in one closet. The comforter did not appear to be clean. Another blanket smelled like something from a thrift store that had not been washed. The other things that could be called a blanket/cover were not better than thin small airplane blankets.There were no extra sheets or pillow cases which rendered the horrible pillows unusable. Towels:Insufficient number of towels for seven people. Only 2 towels in each bathroom. Kitchen:Under sink area was soaked with water until my brother fixed the problem which was the pipes not fitting together. The sink sprayer completely flooded the wood countertop until we discovered that the sprayer had to be in the sink to avoid the flooding.The water pressure in the sink faucet was sporadic as if the water had been turned off and then turned back from main water source.Tile: The tile was very slippery as ice. Whenever there was a slightest amount of water on the floor which happen because of the leaking under the sink. Ice maker: Did not work and/or dispense ice even after being cleared of all old ice. Living Room:When we tried to log on the internet nothing happened. After investigating, we discovered that the modem was the culprit. No problem there, but I mention this because if my son had not played around with it we would have contacted you again. No problem! However we did bring our dog and we had a lot of fun keeping her away rats nest of cables strewn all over the corner where the modem sits on the floor.Hall Bathroom: The biggest issue is the hall bathroom. This a safety issue upon closing the bathroom door it was obvious that there was a problem. The screws in the hinge at the top of the door are coming out causing the door to lean away from the door jam. We discovered we could close the door by lifting it on the door knob side and then forcing the door into the jam. I worried every time that the door would fully come away from the frame and hurt someone. We did send a message asking for immediate attention. We heard nothing back from host and we were unaware that the VRBO did had problems. The description said one of the bedrooms would have 2 twin beds. However, all of the bedrooms only had one full/queen bed.The master bathroom is is is dangerous. No mats/rug outside the tub.Two people slippedon the tile floor. Luckily, no harmed.

Average - No Frills Home

We have enjoyed multiple vacation rental homes over the past 10 years but this home was our first disappointment. Upon arrival we notoced that one of the bathrooms was poorly cleaned, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and no dishwasher detergent to run it. We could locate only 4 towels and 3 wash cloths for 4 adults for the week. We did contact the owner about these issues and he quickly resolved the supply issues but told us that in Texas they use the same bath towel over and over. Really?!?! The advertised game room did not have the Foosball table pictured on the website and the pool table did not have all of the balls to play. Again, disappointing. On a positive note, the beds were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning kept us cool in the warm Texas temperatures. Unfortunately, we will look elsewhere for a home rental when we return to Texas.

We're very sorry you were disappointed with your stay! The cleaner did 5 hours of cleaning before you arrived and always does a really good job but we will let her know to be more careful next time. Dirty Dishes: I believe there were 3 cups in the dishwasher Towels: This doesn't seem fair. You told me later that you did find an entire basket full of extra towels later. As I explained to you, Airbnb places in this area don't normally provide a clean towel and clean wash cloth for each guest per night staying. That would have been 28 towels and 28 wash clothes for four people for the week. Again, sorry you weren't happy...we're always looking for ways to improve! -Lisa

Amazing

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was an amazing house and Ms. Lisa took care of all of our wonderful accommodations. There was a slight hiccup before our arrival, but Ms. Lisa took care of it quickly to ensure our high quality stay. We most certainly will be contacting them again if we ever comeback through Austin.

The best place to stay in Austin!

It's official: this is our favorite place to stay in Austin! So well appointed, perfect with kids, plenty of space, lots of extra amenities (like Sonos wireless speakers and a pool table!), and a good location. With the major highways being just a few blocks away, it didn't take us long at all to go both north in to Round Rock and south to downtown. Highly recommended!

Great Rental House in North Austin

Very impressed with how well the house was kept! Very clean. Garage had darts and pool table, basketball hoop on the back porch with a grill. A little north but not to far from the Domain and right off mopac. Would definitely stay there again!!! 5 stars all the way around.

Couldn't be better!

We were very impressed with the house top to bottom! We loved using the pool table, foosball table, and the grill and picnic table on the back patio. There was also a Sonos wireless speaker system in the house that was very easy to use. Location was no problem with easy access to Mopac so we didn't feel like we were stuck in traffic and at red lights the whole time.

Really Homey - Family Friendly

This home is in a quiet neighborhood. A few blocks from an INCREDIBLE park with playground, sand volleyball, pool, fields, basketball and tennis! The house itself is so home-like and well updated! We had a few problems with different things at first but the owners fixed them right away once we told them. Great rental place for a quiet weekend hangout!

WE'LL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lisa(The owner) is a great hostess. Very responsive and made the process so easy from beginning to end. The train station is very close for downtown commute or reaching other parts of town. The house was clean, cozy and nicely furnished. It's an awesome place to stay. Try Rudy's and Texas Roadhouse while you're in Austin. They are both delicious!!!

Great Weekend Getaway

A group of girlfriends & I stayed at this house for a weekend. We enjoyed our stay, especially the playroom area in the garage. The house has an open floor plan and is located in a quiet neighborhood. We really liked the decor!

Roomy, well appointed home at a great price

This isn't home but, it's not far from it; lovely and comfortable at a location I would choose moved. The home is very nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. I'd be glad to stay here again.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

With two queens, two twins, and trundle mattresses as needed this house is great for families or a small traveling party or it makes a great quiet spot for a couple getting away. Getting around Austin is all about access to Mopac (Loop One) and I-35 and this house is just 1 mile to either.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

If you want non-stop downtown action and you have money to blow this probably isn't your first choice. We think our house offers the best of both worlds because its so quiet and relaxed with the pond, pools etc on the trail out the back door and yet with the metro rail less than 2 miles away and both Mopac and I35 two minutes away you can get downtown or to the Domain or Outlet Malls very easy.
