Sophia & Daphne - Nouvelle maison de plage confortable

Une maison en pierre traditionnelle à deux niveaux nouvellement construite (août 2012) à Mani - Aghios Nikolaos. C'est 98m2. m. et se compose de 3 chambres (2 maîtres), un salon confortable avec cheminée et une cuisine entièrement équipée et moderne, 3 salles de bains (dont 2 en suite). La maison est à distance de marche des deux belles plages de sable fin (200 m.) Akti Pantazi et Platia Ammos et à distance de marche du magnifique village d'Aghios Nikolaos. La maison est atterri dans un grand jardin privé plein d'oliviers et d'autres plantes locales avec une vue magnifique depuis la véranda supérieure.

Il est idéal pour des vacances en famille car il offre un jardin privé plein d'oliviers et une variété de rives à distance de marche (200m-Pantazi Beach). De plus, le village d'Aghios Nicholaos est à environ 1000 m. à distance de marche de la maison, où vous pouvez trouver des restaurants, mini-marché, cafés, boulangerie, etc. Un très bon restaurant-café à 200 m. de la maison au bord de la mer, est considéré comme l'un des meilleurs de la région. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'utiliser une voiture, sauf si vous souhaitez visiter d'autres villages à proximité, Stoupa ou Kardamili pour plus de rives ou de nombreuses activités en mer.

La maison est également idéale pour les couples qui recherchent des vacances reposantes, privées et romantiques. C'est calme mais pas isolé. De la véranda supérieure, vous pouvez profiter de merveilleux dîners romantiques avec une vue magnifique sur la mer en n'entendant que le bruit de la mer. Dans votre jardin privé, vous pourrez profiter de merveilleux petits déjeuners ensoleillés. Le bord de mer près de la maison offre la possibilité de se baigner le matin et l'après-midi.

Charming rural villa, off the beaten track, quiet and lovely 500m to the beach, wonderful hospitable and generous hosts welcomed us with bounty of local produce from the Mani. We very much hope to come back another time.

Fantastic stone villa set in an olive tree garden

We had another lovely holiday, our third year, at this beautiful villa within walking distance of the beach and a wonderful restaurant. Kostas, Villy and Sonia looked after our every need. Lovely personal touches made the holiday memorable.

Another fantastic stay

Our second visit to this beautiful property. The facilities are excellent, the garden charming and full of olive trees that provide shade, the beach and sea a five minute walk away. And there are tavernas within walking distance. I expect we will return again. Thank you.

three elderly couples in Greece sept 2017

The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped. We liked the location, in the middle of very old olive trees, a few minutes walk from the beach and a restaurant. The region is beautiful and not yet spoiled by too many tourists. We made short trips into the mountains and longer trips to old Messinia and Cape Tenaro, the most southerly point of the Mani. The rest of the time we relaxed in the quiet garden and at night we watched the stars sitting on the roofterrace.

Stunning !

The house was beautiful, really well equipped, tastefully designed and furnished. It was also really comfortable with great places to sit and the beds were really nice with lovely cotton sheets. From the roof terrace you can star gaze at night and have great views of the the sea, which is a short walk away - just a few minutes. We ate dinner in the village every night - great choice, wonderful hospitality and only a five minute walk along the sea. Getting to the house was really easy and Villy was really prompt and helpful in all her communications, we will certainly return as it really was idyllic. I feel in love with Greece all over again!

Relaxing holidays in a very beautiful house

We loved the house “Sophia & Daphne” from the beginning. It is a really beautifully built stone house with amazing details. The place is very quiet but only 5 minutes walk down to the beach with a beach tavern and another good restaurant nearby. Very comfortable for us were the three separated lovingly furnished bedrooms with small but very functional bathrooms. The well equipped kitchen – living room is inviting, the illumination in the evening nice and cosy. We enjoyed also the perfect cleaning every three days, the fresh towels and sheets. We loved to have our breakfast and sometimes dinner at the nice table under olive trees in the garden. The roof terrace was wonderful for doing Yoga, for watching the sunset or for only relaxing.

Lovely house and garden

The house was just as described and perfect for three adults wanting their own rooms with the added attraction of three bathrooms. It was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Welcoming touches included olive oil, jams, coffee and tea and shower gels and much more. Konstantinos was there to greet us, Villy was at the end of the phone and Sonia came to do the cleaning. A small point for consideration is the rather limited storage for clothes etc in the bedrooms. We enjoyed breakfast and other meals under the olive trees in the garden, walked to the beach and taverna 5 minutes away or ate in Agios Nikolaos, a pleasant 30 minute walk away. We visited a couple of other beaches and some villages in the mountains but mostly we just relaxed and enjoyed the tranquil setting. We will be back.

Bellissima casa, molto accogliente, dettagli di pregio e ben accessoriata, giardino e spazi interni ed esterni molto confortevoli e pieni di pace, ottimi per il relax! Accoglienza eccellente per gentilezza dell'host e per i buonissimi prodotti locali offerti (olio, marmellate, biscotti, etc.). La casa è molto ben distribuita adatta ad accogliere diverse persone ognuna con la propria indipendenza. Pulizia eccellente. La posizione vicino alle spiagge e al paese di Agios Nicolaos la rendono perfetta per un soggiorno a piedi oppure come base di partenza per diverse località vicine del Mani!

Amazing Gem in Malsova!

We had a spectacular 2-week stay at Sophia and Daphne! Everything was exactly as described. In all the years I have rented vacation properties, this house is the most thoughtfully designed of all. Clearly, their architect knew what they were doing. The home is relatively new but really has the feel of a typical area stone home. Lily and Kostas were so welcoming (I loved their home made jams and wine and watermelon that greeted us) and they were available le and responsive throughout the entire booking and rental process. We loved the 3 bathrooms (one for each bedroom), the AC when it was hot, and all of the items in the fully equipped kitchen. Malsova (on the edge of Ag. Nicholas) is quiet and the water is so close. We swam several times a day! Finally, we have never had mid week cleaning before - what an incredible luxury! We come to Mani as often as we can (my wife's family is from the area) and this is the best property we have ever rented. We will definitely rent again when we return. Thanks for such a perfect stay!

Tolles modernes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten

Das Haus ist ein modernes Steinhaus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Es hat eine Dachterrasse und einen großen, lauschigen Garten. Zum Strand mit einer Strandbar sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Besonders nett fanden wir, dass wir mit einem "Fresskorb" begrüßt wurden: Gebäck, Marmeladen, Honig, Olivenöl und Kalamata-Oliven. Strandtücher und Sonnenschirme standen zur Verfügung, und alle drei Tage wurden die Handtücher gewechselt. Die Lage des Hauses ist gut geeignet für Ausflüge auf der Mani. Wir haben uns in dem Haus rundum wohl gefühlt und empfehlen es uneingeschränkt weiter.

Ein Haus für ruhige, entspannte und zugleich komfortable Ferientage.

Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und bis zum Haus begleitet. Ein toller Service! Das Haus liegt in einem Olivenhain nicht weit weg von einer kleinen Strandbucht (Gehzeit ca. 3min). Uns hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen. Es ist gut ausgestattet, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Betten sind komfortabel. Ein Schlafbereich mit Bad befindet sich direkt neben dem Haus und ist über die bedachte Veranda erreichbar. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ein idealer Ort, um Ausflüge nach Kardamili oder Areopoli zu machen.

Wonderful villa

We absolutely loved this really well presented and spotless villa with great attention to detail. Extremely well equipped with quality bed linen, towels etc.which are changed twice weekly. Set in lovely garden for relaxing and eating under the olive trees. The roof terrace was a favourite with views to the sea in the daytime and stargazing in the late evening. Villy provides so many nice touches - jams, honey, olive oil. She also kept in touch with us during our stay to make sure there were no problems which might spoil our stay at Sophia and Daphne. A lovely house, in a beautiful unspoilt spot

Thank you Villy and family for letting us stay in your fabulous house. We found everything we needed, and were generally very comfortable. The local area was exactly as described – the house is in a fantastic position, walking distance to a lovely beach and taverna, and a short bike ride away from the idyllic fishing village of Agios Nikolaos. The Mani coast is stunning, and has a lovely laid back atmosphere. The perfect holiday destination... We loved it all!
