Thank you for your review. Cresslands is a new development; as such the grounds were cleared for the construction of the Yellow Palm. The application for the street lights has been approved, and the landscaping is underway. The villa is located just outside the town of Soufriere, as our guest has mentioned. However, you can make your way to the heart of Soufriere within ten minutes. Thanks again, and happy travels. The Yellow Palm !

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beauty, privacy, and attentiveness of our team. For future guests, we’d like to offer a bit of clarification. The home was cleaned prior to arrival, and all guest linens are cleaned, inspected, and stored in the master closet before each stay. A comforter mentioned in the review was stored in an armoire and not intended for guest use; the stain noted was from a cedar wood ball used for storage, and the item has since been removed. Regarding the shower, the drain was functioning properly prior to arrival. Housekeeping noted a clog after departure. We address any maintenance issues promptly when identified. As the home is located in St. Lucia, a tropical environment, small insects may occasionally enter—particularly during the rainy season, which was ongoing during this stay. This is a natural part of island living, and when insects do enter, the air conditioning typically eliminates them overnight. We have not experienced issues with large insects in the home. Regarding lighting, we have not previously received complaints; however, based on this feedback, bulb wattage has since been increased to further enhance brightness. St. Lucia operates on 220-volt electricity. While many properties do not provide power converters and guests typically travel with their own, we do offer a few for convenience. For safety reasons, they are kept away from water sources and may not always be conveniently placed. For all stays longer than five days, we proactively ask guests if mid-stay cleaning is needed. During this stay, our property manager checked in mid-stay and offered additional cleaning, which was declined. We were surprised to learn of these concerns after departure, as the guest stayed for eight days and neither the owner, the property manager, nor VRBO were contacted at any point during the stay. We are always happy to assist when issues are brought to our attention and encourage guests to reach out so concerns can be addressed promptly. We appreciate feedback and remain committed to providing a comfortable and well-maintained home for our guests.
