The Bergen Haus was great for our family! We loved that it was walkable to downtown and had plenty of bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very organized. The family room and dining room had plenty of space and we enjoyed the large dining room table.Keep in mind though it is listed as air conditioned only 2 of the bedrooms had window units and the downstairs windows are painted shut. There were fans in each bedroom but rooms did get warm. It is an old house so know that with that charm comes squeaky floors and doors that don't quite close. Mixed reviews from our group on the comfort of the beds. Overall we recommend and would stay again!!

Perfect, as long as it isn't really hot in Leavenworth during your stay

We had a lovely time at this charming property, conveniently located, with plenty of space, enjoying meals and playing games together. Questions to the host before our stay were answered quickly. We appreciated that air con units were turned on before our arrival because it happened to be pretty hot in Leavenworth during our stay and only 2 bedrooms have air conditioning. The people who had rooms without air con upstairs unfortunately ended up sleeping on the couch and floor downstairs because it was too hot with only fans. With sharing this information though, we would recommend this property for a trip to Leavenworth.

Review of stay

This was such a lovely home with such nice detail, thoughtful additions such as puzzles, kids games, plenty of plates and cups to use and lovely rooms. Just a heads up to the owners that several of the outlets in the kitchen are not working, the lights in the living room in the ceiling fans were not reachable and the overhead lighting in that area as a result was really dim. Otherwise, the stay was great!

Great home!!

Awesome location to walk downtown. Lots of room to play games and hang out. A great place to stay in Leavenworth. We will be booking it again in the future.

Perfect location

Nice to be a short walk to town. Plenty of bedrooms for larger families. Floors a bit creaky and a few other maintenance issues, but overall a great property, in town that was thoroughly enjoyed by our group.

Delightful Summer Visit

We enjoyed our girlfriends trip and staying in the house. There were five of us so we each had our own room. An easy walk to the downtown area. A great house for families or friends.

Very nice property for a large family with plenty of space. Old world charm and easy access to walking to town, river and shopping. Close to main roads and outdoor activities. Bike rental next door and grocery store across street.

Great getaway!

We came around Christmas time, the house inside was decorated so lovely. Nice, warm and cozy! Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything. Walking distance to town where we enjoyed sledding, shoping and eating. Rudoff pizza was amazing. We will definitely be returning.

Our family of 6 went to Leavenworth for the weekend to relax, spend time in the snow and celebrate an anniversary. The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Our favorite area was the dining room, great place to enjoy games, food, and drink. Great place and wonderful stay! Thanks!

The only reason i gave a one star for communication with the property management is because there really wasn't any issues. The house very quiet and well equipped. Everyone had a good time. I would stay here again if I'm in Leavenworth.

Love this property! Fits our whole fam. So close to the store and downtown. Five stars from us. Would love AC units in the upstairs two rooms as it was 90 degrees all the days we were here. We will be back!

Leavenworth house

This FIVE bedroom house is only a 2 minute walk to town and across the street from the perfect Dan's grocery store. Very cozy inside with a great gas fireplace and roomy kitchen. We went on a sleigh ride with icicleoutfitters ... wintersleighrides . Ask for Fred to guide you ...he is beyond hilarious. Of all the bakerys we thought Tumwater had the best croissants and plenty of space to sit. You will love the house and the town!

Unseasonable warm

Things we liked about the property. The house was beautiful, clean and very close to town. We could easily walk back and forth. The backyard was quaint and cozy. There were enough rooms for everyone to have their own bedroom. What we didn't like. We live in an old farmhouse and understand there would not be central air. We however thought we would be able to open windows to cool the house down. We could not open any windows because they were painted shut. The bedrooms upstairs had ceiling fans but were on low speed and we could not change that. The 2 downstairs bedrooms did not have ceiling fans. We unfortunately hit a very warm weekend (in the upper 80's/low90's), and the house was quite hot. I sent a message to owner to see if there were any fans in the house. I never got an answer which was frustrating. We searched all the closets and found enough for each bedroom. This house is not a great choice for summer weather but would be perfect for fall or winter.

Fun girls weekend

Great location with parking. Easily able to walk to and from town. McDonald and grocery across the street. Starbucks in walking distance. Large bedrooms with a lot of space. Upstairs does get pretty hot, 3 of the rooms have AC units but the 2 middle ones on the upstairs do not, this is accounted for with ceiling fans and table fans in the room. Unfortunately the windows open from the top and tilt inward so you cannot close the blinds while having windows open. Middle 2 rooms on upstairs also don’t close without the deadbolt locked. Overall fantastic location, great host would recommend to anyone and definitely come back 😊
