An amazing home as described. We were three families, total of 16 people and had tons of space. Loved the theater room, sauna and steam room. We had plenty of beds for all. Loved our stay!
The house is in excellent condition. Everything was perfect! It had every amenity we could possibly need and the communication with the property manager was easy and instant.
Highly, highly recommend!
We were happy to have 8 bd rms with each having it's own bth. rm. Location was nice, the home was beautiful, with scenic views, not too far from anything. All in all, it was a nice, clean, and a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend it!
This was a marvelous place for our family. Our family was able to celebrate my mother in law's 80th birthday with a surprised weekend getaway with all her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved it. Thank you Elle for the quick response to all our questions.
The property was perfect for a large group. Plenty of space so never felt crowded. The views were awesome and love the movie theater. Kids watched lots of movies and did a slide show for celebration of life. We could not of picked a better home.
The house is amazing! We had 4 families together for the holiday and this house could not have been more perfect! Each family had their own floor, with multiple bedrooms with bathrooms in each bedroom. 2 of the bedrooms also had cribs. There were 2 dining tables with enough chairs, including 2 highchairs for the babies. The kitchen was huge, adequately stocked and the 2 dishwashers were very helpful. There were also multiple washers and dryers. We enjoyed the sauna, the steam shower, the spa, and the views are stunning! We VRBO quite a bit and I will say this house is "simply the best"!
We stayed at the Aishling Lodge for an annual friends and family ski vacation. The compound is perfect for multiple families to stay comfortably, and has all the entertainment to keep you busy. No real need to go out, just stock up, the bar is downstairs! The cleaning team worked diligently even after a 6ft dump of snow and roads had just been cleared. Be ready it is a bit of a drive up to the house and Tahoe Donner area and roads can be challenging in winter. We would definitely stay again with a big group!
Eighteen adults stayed in this home for 4 nights for my 60th birthday. Two elevators which were needed as there were plenty of stairs. The kitchen was very well stocked and the view off the decks were breath-taking. We would rent this house over and over. The best part was everyone had their own bathroom and as adults we can all appreciate that. The drive up the hill was way easier than we first thought. Fantastic home.
Same as last Christmas, including Christmas tree and decor. Spectacular view. Very large and comfortable. Made good use of sauna, steam rooms and hot tub. Remember to add a little chlorine each day. Comfy floor radiant heating. Fun gas fireplaces. Movie room also used for gaming we brought. Elevators and cart great for moving in and out. Four cars inside garages. If skiing Northstar or âPalisades â recommend head out before 7:30 and head back around 3pm to avoid insane traffic delays that occur later.
We rented the Lodge for a week during TG. The house is beautiful and pictures donât do it justice. I wish I could post some of mine! The only bedroom that needs a better disclaimer is #9, in the Eagleâs nest because it has no windows. We were able to place my nephew on the bunk bed in the Eagleâs nest living room, but it was not ideal. The house has great furnishings which felt comfortable, high-end and were well kept. We cooked several meals for a full household and the kitchen was truly well stocked. Elle, the manager, and her team were amazing and super responsive. They even sent Ben to take care of the decks which were covered in snow the day before TG!!! We truly appreciated that! we would be happy to come back again!
We loved our stay at the Aishling Lodge, everyone had their private rooms and mingled at the bar on the Lower level. Kids enjoyed the theater room. The lower patio with the fire pit was covered in 10 feet of snow this time of year (April) so we had to improvise with our wedding ceremony set up and utilize the space from the main level patio deck. The DJ was set up on the loft and turned up the place. The view was still amazing and the ceremony and reception was a success. All together a fabulous weekend. The main suite has sufficient space for a bride to get ready along with all of her bridesmaids. The gents all utilized the eagles nest. Overall a great place to have a small wedding! đđ»
Wonderful property for a long weekend with friends
The property as a whole is wonderful. Accommodates large groups without compromising on space. The place has an elevator running between floors.
Hot tub, sauna, and steam room were all lovely and appreciated by my party.
Only negatives I think would be fairly minor and hopefully easily addressed:
- Main fridge has its gasket failing so we had to triple check that it actually closed each time.
- Ice machine by the bar wasn't working.
- Chillers and coolers around the house were off which meant it took a day for them to actually get "cold"
- Hot tub was off on day 1 and took about 12 hours to come up to temp which meant it wasn't available until day 2
- Sonos system didn't seem to work on floors 2 and 3 (or we just couldn't figure it out)
- Theater room would benefit from slightly elevated steps between seat rows
- Foosball table is in need of replacement (it's on its last legs)
That's a lot of individual one liners but again, for our purposes none of those really detracted too much from the experience. As a space to socialize, cook large meals, and just chill for a weekend it was still largely top tier.
This home is beyond beautiful. The views are breathtaking. Huge, every couple had their own room and bathroom . The dining area easily held the 16 adults and 2 infants for meals. Ample refrigerators , freezers, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers .We spent lots of time by the fireplace on main floor. Many of us enjoyed the sauna and the steam room .
Huge house for large group. We had 20 adults. Kitchen well appointed, lots of space, great views. Wish the sliding doors had screens so you can better enjoy breeze. Bar level was great but the ice machine woefully underperformed and the two beverage coolers did not work. So make sure to bring lots of ice. Not nearly enough outdoor seating. Only three chairs on second balcony and two on the bottom level. No lounge chairs on top level. There was a table with 6 chairs. Also the remote for the fire pit was missing.
Too many stairs for this old person, but thank goodness for that elevator. The kids loved the house. The inside was too dark. Needed better lighting. Being with family was wonderful.
Overall, this property was everything that we could've asked for and more. Things we liked: Amazing views off of 3 separate decks. Great kitchen that was fully stocked - bring food and you should have all the tools to make it. Movie Theater seating and ease of using said movie theater (we just brought a laptop). Responsiveness of the property manager - she responded within 2 hours when I texted her on a Sunday night. Sauna, steam room, and hot tub all were awesome, only issue was space because everyone wanted to use them. Location - Right next to 2 golf courses and a trailhead. Close enough to town and Tahoe to drive and get to said places. Sound system easily controlled through a phone app that allows you to play Spotify/Apple on 1, 2 or all 3 floors depending on time of day or atmosphere. The showers...definitely enjoy the Master Bedroom shower, that is a work of art in itself.Things we disliked: If you have trucks, you'd have trouble fitting 10 vehicles as stated. We had 7 and adding an 8th required parking sideways. With cars, 10 is probably feasible, but driving to the mountains usually requires larger vehicles. That said, being able to fit 8 large vehicles is quite a lot already and probably doable for 99.99% of groups. Stairs...holy crap so many stairs. Overall, we are all sad we are no longer there, and back in the real world, but highly recommend this place. 5 stars out of 5
This house was great for our large family group. The social spaces are large and varied, the dining area, with two tables, was great, the kitchen was big enough to produce meals for a crowd and high chairs, cribs and additional cots were provided. No place is perfect and this place was no exception but the issues didn't have a material impact on our stay.
Perfect house and location for our summer trip! The house was perfect for 8 couples and had plenty of spaces to hangout. We were able to access hiking and biking trails from the front door and saw deer, bears, and all the birds! Really fun stay!
This house was perfect for our large group of small families. Every family had their own room with private bathroom, there were several common areas for hanging out, and the kitchen area seated the whole group. We'll most certainly be back.
If you are planning a Tahoe Trip with friends or family this is the ideal location for a large group. It is by far the best rental property I have ever rented in the Tahoe Truckee area. I strongly recommend. The amenities are unbelievable and the space is simply the best.
This cabin was very much enjoyed by my entire family ranging in age from 85 to 10. My Mom really appreciated the elevators. There was space for everyone to be together and then for people to get away for some quite time when they wanted.
There is excellent Hiking and Mountain Biking right from the front door - no need to drive anywhere to get to a trailhead.
If I ever have a group of this size again I would definitely return here.
