Red Sands Retreat is the 'Gateway House' to the Sand Hollow area and is one of the greater St George areas best kept secrets! (Halfway between St George and Zion National Park)

The welcoming feeling when you enter the courtyard and pass through the massive iron doors of this 4 Bedroom 3 Bath home sets the tone for your vacation experience. In the great room you immediately take note of the custom-built sofa - designed for this home specifically to enable great conversation (it sits 10-12 persons) This is the hub of the home, and you can watch a movie or just have great conversation while watching the pool area outside the large bay windows. The back-yard pool retreat space is ideal for year-round enjoyment. This in-ground covered pool and spa are built next to the covered patio offering a great environment to play and relax in and around the pool. There is a small Shamu-shelf area for little ones as well as a deep end for the adults. This pool can be heated in the cooler months too - so there is no bad time of year to enjoy. The owners have equipped the BBQ area with a grill and lounge chairs to enjoy the pool side area.

One of our favorite features of the home is the 360-degree vistas from the observation deck - where one can sit and enjoy a sunset and star gazing with friends. A quick trip up a spiral staircase opens up to a deck overlooking the pool below. The owners have added a custom table and rocker chairs - very comfortable and a great place to build friendships. (NOTE: There is No Diving Permitted from the deck to the pool) The home is located just moments from Sand Hollow Lake - you can't get any closer to the lake unless you're camping at the lake. Yes - bring the side-by-sides, the wave runners and ATV's and enjoy the sand dunes, the lake and refresh in your own private pool at the end of the day!

**POOL HEATING IMPORTANT INFORMATION - The cost of heating the POOL SYSTEM (Pool and Hot Tub) at this property is not included in the nightly rates. After you book the unit, please notify our team IF you want to heat the pool or have any questions about pool heating. The cost is $200 for pool operations and $75 daily heat plus applicable taxes. The Operations Cost covers pre-heat, set up, etc. for the pool. (Operations and daily heat are both required for pool heating) Daily cost is to maintain the pool heat during your stay. We set the system to heat between 82-85. Actual temp. varies due to air/ground temps and is not guaranteed. Pool heating is recommended for guest stays from Oct 1st- May 31st.
HOT TUB may be heated independent of the pool for a flat cost of $75. We set the hot tub heating between 100-102 degrees.

The Master Suite with a King bed is sure to relax and rest you with its open space and clean lines. Mounted on the wall is a large flat screen TV. The en-suite bath has a jetted soaking tub as well as a private shower with multiple heads and large walk-in closet. This room sleeps 1-2 persons.

The first guest suite offers a green bed with its own TV. This room is a quiet spot in the home and the window opens up to the front courtyard. It has a 3/4 bath next to it. (Semi-private) This room sleeps 1-2 persons.

The second guest suite offers a comfortable queen bed and flat screen TV. This suite shares a bath with the bunk room guests. The bathroom is a full bath with a tub/shower combination.

Bunk Room has two full/full bunk beds. This suite shares the bath with guest suite 2.
The great room has a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps 1-2 persons.
The remaining sofas may also sleep 1-3 additional small bodies. (Bedding not provided)
