Heart of the Falls! Cozy for 2, Spacious for 8, Close to everything!
Just one block outside of the official Historic District, this Craftsman style home retains much of the character unique to Cuyahoga Falls. Although updated with modern plumbing, electric, and even central A/C, the house was built in 1910 so please donât compare her to new construction, there are plenty of old house quirks. Our 5 star ratings are because we give exactly what we promise, not a 5 star hotel but a clean, comfortable âhome away from homeâ when visiting this exceptional area of Ohio.
We enjoyed our stay! Great kitchen set up for our Thanksgiving dinner with my elderly father. Host thought of everything! Beds were comfy and the location perfect. We will be back!
Visited Cuyahoga Falls to participate in the Burning River trail race. Located perfect distance from the downtown area and easy walk to many restaurants and bars. Older house, but had everything we needed. Owners were great to communicate with prior to arrival and would recommend.
Nice and clean house, perfect location. Right downtown and easy access to the property. Really nice and communicative host, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Pros: Location- love to walk to restaurants, plenty of sleeping options, towels, everyday items. Dog friendly :). Yard and fire pit were a hit. Host even supplied marshmallows and skewers- nice touch. Cons: no bathroom on first floor, uneven steps that can be tricky for older adults or small pets. We never could get the TV on the first floor to work (didnât try other tvs), couch in family room is uncomfortable. Older house, but has some charm. Thanks
It was good for the price, if you're looking for the 5 star experience it's not your kind of place. Considering the price it is fair. If that is okay for you it is the right place. It's an older home so you have the quirks and charm. I would struggle personally in the hotter months as the rooms upstairs get warm with the older ac system struggling to get the air up and it sinks back down to the thermostat, but they provide strong fans in each room. If you have mobility issues all bedrooms and bathrooms are not on the main floor. Overall it is a decent place with a great location.
This is an older and very charming home. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. The second bathroom is in the lower level basement. Bedrooms are small but comfortable.
Excellent communication with the hostess, no hassle checkin with digital code. Close to Blossom Music center for Cleveland Orchestra and other concerts. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, utensils and dining room seating. Very Short Narrow driveway no large vehicles but plenty of on street parking.
There's a reason I'm back. This home is in a great location and quiet neighborhood. I feel completely safe to walk to nearby restaurants. The home has everything I need. They even have a highchair for my grandson to use! Excellent communication from the owner. The housekeeping staff is definitely topnotch and take pride in their work as evident by a very clean home. I plan to come back again!
What a great find! My two sons and I enjoyed our stay while visiting my daughter and her family. Having two bathrooms is especially nice. This place is very friendly family. Plenty of board games to play. Even foosball downstairs. And even a high chair for my grandson! Wasn't expecting that! Very clean, and I love the decor. Nice inspirational art on the walls. The location is ideal. We were able to walk just a couple blocks to nearby restaurants. We're hikers, and we were just minutes away from some awesome trails. The host was wonderful, and we had excellent communication. The highest compliment I can give is this: we will be back!
The description did not specify that bathrooms were only available by going either up or down steep stairs, this could be a real issue for elderly people, people with small children, or people with a Corgi pup (us). The Outdoor space is not fully fenced in, also not mentioned and the pics as well as the dogs allowed description lead us to believe there was a fenced in area. Finally, the beds are terribly uncomfortable which is why we chose to leave a day early. After attempting to sleep in two different beds the first two nights we gave up. They are merely 12 inch foam pads on a metal frame. The couch in the living room is not any better. After hiking all day the only thing we wanted was a comfortable place to rest and unfortunately this rental did not give us that.
The home was fine, older as mentioned in the listing. It was clean and in a good area. The bedrooms were small, which was ok. Showers very small, also OK. My only complaint is that we received an email from the property manager that said "The TV does not have local channels but has Netflix already logged in." I was glad to hear that so we tried to access Netflix from the TV and could not. I sent the manager an email saying that we could not get Netflix. I did not get a response so I called and she said Netflix has been cancelling some of their accounts. I'm suspicious that they hadn't been paying for the account they had said was available. She said I'd have to get my own account to watch it. I told her that she shouldn't send an email that says Netflix is available since it isn't. She just said "oh, sure". To me this isn't right and isn't a good response when something they say is available actually is not.
