House rules

• No parties or events — including quiet gatherings

• No smoking of any kind

• No pets unless explicitly approved in advance

• Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM

• Guests must be 21+ to book and be present for the stay

• Max occupancy: 2 guests



Check-in and check-out

• Check-in: 4:00 PM (keyless access; code sent 24 hours before arrival)

• Check-out: 11:00 AM

• Early check-in or late checkout may be available by request for a fee



Guest Access:

You'll check yourself in using a secure keypad—no keys, no front desk. We’ll send your unique access code and arrival instructions 24 hours before check-in.

Guests have access to all public areas of The St. Clair, including The Howser Tavern, elevator, lobby seating, and shared guest spaces.

• This is an ADA-accessible unit designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs

• Complimentary parking is available across the street in the 3rd floor of the garage (Catfish Alley entrance behind The Grand Theatre)

• Parking is not guaranteed; early arrival recommended to secure a St. Clair-marked space

• Guest verification is required before check-in

• Valid photo ID and matching credit card required

• Background check may be required per building policy

• $250 refundable security deposit may apply

• Security cameras are present in common areas and outside the building (not in rooms)

• No cable TV; Roku with streaming apps is provided

• The Howser Tavern and Speakeasy is located on the first floor for guests 21+. Please note that the Speakeasy is only open Thursday through Saturday.
