'Granny's Country Cottage' is a peaceful home base for friends and families that are seeking a country retreat and a peaceful location to unwind.

OUTDOOR LIVING: A restful covered front porch, bench swing, furnished outdoor dining on the patio, a fire pit with wood, forest/farmland views, and groomed walking paths throughout the forested land. Pastures of grazing cattle, chickens, pygmy goats and an occasional deer sighting incircle the home.
INDOOR LIVING: 2 flat-screen TVs, Direct-TV service, DVD player, comfortable furnishings, dinning and lounging for six, games, books and videos.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped, drip coffee maker, microwave, crockpot, stove, oven, cooking basics, dish-ware/flatware, additional table and seating for six on adjacent patio.
GENERAL: Cental heat/air, Linens/towels, iron & board, washer & dryer, hairdryer, self-check-in

Cozy Farm House

This is our second stay we thoroughly enjoyed the house and the peace and quiet. We loved being close to everything but still being able to be in the quietness of the countryside. Owners were gracious and kind. We would recommend this place to everyone!

Lovely farmhouse

We enjoyed our weekend stay in this lovely farmhouse. The kitchen came equipped with all the necessities for cooking. We enjoyed the outdoors on the front porch swing and grilling on the back patio. Nice country setting!

Perfect place for our family

Came to town to visit our daughter who goes to school at the University. We have stayed at a couple other properties but this has been the best. Perfect distance from town, the rural countryside is amazing, home is lovely, host is amazing, it was everything we could have wanted and more. Loved it!

Granny's Cottage and the Cows Came Free!

Granny's Cottage was the perfect location for us when we came for a family celebration right down the road. Also, it was easy to zip into town when the urge for pizza hit. We had 5 full grown adults and there was plenty of comfy room inside and on the lovely front porch, complete with swing. In the shadow of a stately red barn, the cows across the street made us feel especially welcome!

Amazing place to stay!

Great little cottage to take a few days or week to relax and enjoy central Kentucky. Three bedrooms with comfortable beds (mattresses in very good shape). the cottage was very clean and the kitchen very practical. You can do all of your cooking or could go out and eat at Brothers Barbecue in downtown Campbellsville. The house is only a couple miles from the center of the city, so very convenient to everything. Chickens and horses are next door - this will remind you of how farm life really is. Thank you for sharing this with us for a few days. We will be back!!

Great place

Off the beaten path, but not far from everything. It is quite and peaceful place, surrounded by farmland. Plenty of parking for boats, we had five boats and trucks. Host is very easy to work with and attentive to your needs.

We Loved It!

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for our family reunion. Not only was this the same price or even less than staying nightly in a hotel, but it was so peaceful and beautiful. The farm was amazing. The house was great and well stocked with everything you would need. The pictures cannot do this property justice. The owners were also very responsive and such kind people. If we didn't actually have a family reunion and places to be, I think we would've had even more fun just staying at the house and on the property for the weekend. We would love to rent this every yesr when we come down. Thank you so much!

10/10! It couldn’t be more perfect!

We stayed in Granny’s Cottage for a quick visit to our hometown. It couldn’t have been more perfect! It is so cozy and honestly felt as if I was in my own grandmothers house as a child! Darlene was an absolutely wonderful host and even left fresh eggs for us! If you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway in a country setting, but still close to town...this is your place! I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

Home away from Home

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Granny's House and will definitely make this my place to stay when I return to visit my hometown and family. From enjoying a morning coffee on the front porch to watch the sun rise to an evening in the back to watch the sun set is exactly what I needed. Thanks to Ronnie and Darlene for their wonderful hospitality.

Great place to stay convenient to many central KY attractions

We stayed 5 nights towards the end of October to see Mammoth Cave, Corvette Museum, Bourbon Trail and Winstar Farm. This was a great location centrally located for the places we wanted to go to. The house was well equipped, very comfortable and in a beautiful country setting, but not too far from the conveniences of town in Campbellsville. We enjoyed getting to see the longhorn cattle everyday that were on the property and all of the neighboring farms were beautiful.

Comfortable country cottage

Loved our stay in the country cottage!! Close to Campbellsville but loved experiencing life in the country. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay relaxing and comfortable.

Ronnie and Darlene have hosted vacation properties since 2008. We enjoy meeting guest who express the interest and we will introduce you to the resident animals according to your preference. Each winter we spend the low travel season sprucing up our properties by modernizing decor, adding and new amenities, and replenishing our homes with fresh batteries, bulbs and pillows.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The cottage faces south about 45 yards off of the main road on an acre lot surrounded by farmland to the west, north, and east. The closest neighbor is over 100 yards away affording occupants privacy and space! Rest a while at the newly built Monitor barn with its beautifully furnished sitting area. Approximately 100 yards northwest is a small spring fed pond and a bench positioned to take in the natural beauty of the countryside. The city provides parks, playgrounds, a movie theater, a recreation center (The Lanes), dinning, shopping and medical services.

Granny’s will take you to a slower, calmer, homey lifestyle. Play pitch with the kids or a board game on the picnic table under the shade of a mature maple tree. Go out to the barn and pet the pigmy goats (Sparkle and Glitter), visit the chickens behind the barn or have a conversation with Raven (horse) and Junior (donkey) as they stroll by the fence while pastured.
