About this space
Bring the whole family (and Fido!) to this great place with lots of room for fun! Less than two-tenths of a mile to the entrance of Green River Lake, you’ll find the roomy and charming Foster Lodge nestled in a quiet neighborhood. We have not one but TWO King sized beds and a full sized bed so no more awkward sleeping arrangements! Stocked with all the amenities any traveler could want, you’ll feel right at home! No cameras on our property because we respect your privacy. Key pad entry through garage where you can park your vehicle. Plenty of room for your boat, too! We can’t wait for you to be our guest!
The space
Foster Lodge is 2200+ square feet situated on a 1 acre lot that sits directly across from Green River Lake State Park! The front yard is adorned with beautiful, old oak trees, and the backyard is wide open for a friendly game of cornhole or wiffle ball!

Pet friendly, family friendly, clean home in a nice peaceful neighborhood, central to our travel plans. Owner was fantastic with communication and very sweet checking in for any special needs. Hit all our marks for a good stay- comfortable beds, clean, well furnished...would easily stay here again without looking elsewhere. Thank you for a lovely time Katie.

EVERYTHING was absolutely wonderful about our stay. Katie is without a doubt the best most helpful VRBO host we have ever encountered in all our years of travel. The location of the house was ideal for our Kentucky experience . The neighborhood was small and very secure feeling. The house was spotless, comfortable and homey, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well equipped with all basic necessities. While we were 3 seniors we did note all the child friendly supplies, even outlet covers. This VRBO is at the top of our list for all time best places to stay. Thank you Katie for all you did to make us feel welcome!

Comfy and Cozy Home

There is a lot of love in this house! Made a lot of good food in the kitchen, had a lot of laughs in the living room and had some peaceful walks in the quiet neighborhood. We also gained about 15 pounds due to a nearby Amish market called Tastes Like Home. Great WIFI too! We had a wonderful stay and the host was lovely!

Foster home

Very clean, small little touches of hospitality. Pet friendly accommodations were great. Photos and memorabilia of the home owner, and antique pieces of history were a nice touch as well. We had a great time outdoors as well, as the home is situated at the start of the Green River Lake State Park. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and would love to go again.

Beautiful clean property. Katie was a wonderful host and checked in with us during our trip to make sure everything was going okay. Great yard space for kids to play. We had a wonderful trip and will definitely keep this rental in mind for future trips to Kentucky.

We will be back!

This house was perfect for our group of 6 friends coming to enjoy the lake for the weekend. The house was very clean and had wonderful accommodations. The location was perfect - just a few minutes from multiple boat ramps and with a shop for ice and a cute local bar/restaurant right up the road. We are already planning to return in 2025!

Absolute perfection

Foster house is by far our absolute favorite home away from home in Kentucky. The host has clearly thought of everything and goes above and beyond to make this home so special. Absolutely recommend 11 out of 10 !

Beautiful home and extremely clean. Fantastic neighborhood quiet and no busy traffic. Host is so kind and extremely helpful. Love the handmade ornaments keepsake waiting at arrival from host ❤️House has everything you need. Great yard area for pups if traveling with dogs. Sunroom is gorgeous such a happy room. Stay here you will love it! We will definitely stay again. Thanks for having us.

Perfect two-week vacation

Property was exactly as listed. Kitchen appliances were a bit dated but adequate. Two small issues handled by hosts immediately. There were extra touches we didn’t expect-like a full candy dish, water and condiments in the fridge and cleaning supplies. Beds were comfortable and sunroom was a nice addition. Beautiful neighborhood with quick access to Green River State Park. Katie and Tracy were exceptional hosts.

I will be back again for another stay

It was simply amazing. Everything is at the house that you will ever need. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Will accommodate an entire family with room to spare. I am a fisherman and there was room for my boat and able to charge my batteries every night. Security light outside helps me prepare in the early morning. Blessing to find this house. Very quiet neighborhood good neighbors.

The Absolute best place to stay at Green River Lake

I have had my eye on this home for a few months, so when we decided to book our trip, I was elated to find it was available at the time we needed. My first impression was, I could not believe how nice this home is for a lake house, it's extremely clean, relaxing and has everything you need and more. The neighborhood is beautiful, people take such care of their homes and it shows. it so relaxing and just minutes from the lake, you could even walk to the state park, its that close :) Katie is so responsive and accommodating, we had a couple of questions and she literally responded every single time very quickly. This will be the only place I will stay going forward when we travel to Green River, I wished we could have stayed longer and I am already looking forward to going back. If you are considering staying here, you will be SO happy you did. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

This was my best VRBO experience to date. The hosts were kind and welcoming. The home was clean and comfortable and was well stocked with towels, paper products and cleaning supplies. The location was tranquil and pet friendly. We had a great trip and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This property is located in a quiet neighborhood with a large yard. The home is cozy and clean. The property owners literally thought of everything you might need. The owners were easy to communicate with and helpful. Book it! You will not be disappointed!

Foster lodge at green river lake is a great place to stay. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and a lot of space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The host is the best you can have. Fosters Lodge…more than welcoming!

We gathered for a college homecoming reunion and left more like family. The furnishings, amenities and layout of the lodge was perfect …The open plan encourages lots of chatter and laughter. Beautiful sun room! The decor just says “home.” Beds and baths and had special little welcoming touches. I would love to book for a week with my own family and enjoy the lake and outdoor areas! Just perfect! 😊
