As you enter the home, you`ll be greeted by a spacious and open living area that`s flooded with natural light. The living room features comfortable furnishings and a large TV. The floor plan flows into the dining area and kitchen making it the perfect space for your group.

The fully equipped kitchen features all the amenities you`ll need to cook up a delicious meal, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave. There`s also plenty of counter and cabinet space for all your cooking needs.

The four bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for you and your guests to spread out. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and features comfortable beds, ample storage space, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

Outside you have the front porch with seating to hang out and the backyard with additional seating and access to the arcade room.

Paradiso is a private club in the Mixson neighborhood near Park Circle, offering exclusive discounted access for The Boroughs` guests, including the pool, gym, wellness classes, co-working, dining, poolside cabana reservations, social events, and live music. Day passes and cabanas have associated fees.

Two weeks before your reservation date, all guests of The Boroughs will be provided with a one-pager that includes booking information to reserve access to Paradiso. Reservations need to be made 24 hours in advance with guest information. *Please Note*: Paradiso is a private membership based club and access is not guaranteed.

I will be available for whatever you may need as I live very close to the property. I will very likely be in the Charleston area as well, but it not, I can still provide guidance or recommendations for activities you may be interested in.

The Charleston Heights neighborhood is conveniently located close to everything! It is less than 10 minutes to Downtown Charleston, 7 minutes to the heart of Park Circle, and roughly 20 minutes to Sullivans Island where you can access one of Charleston`s best beaches. Very close by in Charleston Heights is Rebel Taqueria, a great dive bar serving up all your taco cravings. Also catch a show at Firefly Distillery or one of the cool events at Riverfront Park, both just 5 minutes away!

In the event of a mandatory evacuation order issued by the Mayor of Charleston County, guests must contact us within 24 hours to receive a full refund. This policy applies only to official mandatory evacuation orders.

House Policies:
To maintain the quality and condition of our properties for all guests, we enforce the following rules:
No Parties: Hosting parties or large gatherings is strictly prohibited.
No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property or in areas where smoke may linger, such as porches or balconies.
Property Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage to walls or property caused by hanging decorations or other actions.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
Firearms Prohibited: Firearms are not allowed on the property. Any firearm found will be considered abandoned and handled accordingly.

Location Disclosure:
Charleston is a vibrant, growing city, and guests may experience typical urban sounds, including traffic, nearby restaurants, bars, or general street noise. Construction noise may also occur in the area. While we strive to inform guests of potential disruptions, we may not always have advance notice of such activities.

Charleston does have quite a few bugs, we have a professional pest control company service the house every month. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, keep doors/windows closed, food wrapped and store it in the refrigerator.

Beautiful home and very well stocked! We enjoyed the spacious main area and felt it was very comfortable for 7 women. Looks recently renovated and all amenities were nice. The description of the neighborhood on the listing is misleading. While nothing happened to our group, multiple uber drivers made comments about the safety of the neighborhood. This made us a little on edge and we mainly stayed in the house; did not utilize the outdoor spaces.

We stayed here for my dad to have surgery at MUSC and it was a great location. When we are back in Charleston we will definitely stay here again!!

The house itself looks like pictures. New appliances were nice. Our first impression was scary. As we pulled up and parked a man walked up to my window. He was begging us for money and would NOT get away from my car. I was traveling alone with my kids and I was honestly uneasy and at times frightened. We did eventually, about 10 minutes and a threat to call 911 later, we were able to exit our car because the man who appeared on drugs and very unkept finally walked away. I do blame myself because I see now others stated the area was not ideal. I did not let my kids outside without me, we walked from door to car only. We checked that all the windows and doors were locked. Upon entering the side door was already unlocked and the bathroom window doesnt lock at all. No blinds so we felt like we had no privacy and could be watched. I would suggest you find another cleaning crew. Hair in sheets, towels, sinks, and even in the ice in the freezer. Stains on curtains and rugs. The rug in master folds up and we tripped over it every.single.time. The house itself would have been perfect for our needs had it been in a safer area and properly cleaned. Maybe they were having an off day because other reviews said it was clean. Unfortunately our welcoming committee (guy at window) will be the reason we never go back. We did need to call to confirm which unit was ours and owner was nice to my son over the phone.

Charleston Visit

Very clean and appears to be newly renovated. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of bedroom space. Living room and kitchen areas were nice. Very quiet area and close to downtown and beach areas. Would definitely stay again!!

Conveniently located, clean

Location was great for discovering Park Circle and downtown Charleston. Neighborhood was on the lower socioeconomic side. House itself was remodeled and there is reserved parking right out front. Enjoyed the board games. Lots of restaurants in Park Circle and it’s only a 5 min drive.

Close to Riverfront Park

We stayed here for Highwater Festival and thank goodness we did. While others were stuck in traffic, we were able to walk home. The house is lovely - the attention to detail is fantastic. You do have to share the courtyard with other guests and that was my only negative. Very nice place and we appreciate the hospitality.

First the good. Adorable cottage that’s been nicely renovated. Great parking. Great appliances and laundry. Perfect location for our wedding weekend at the Admiral House by the Navy yard. Now for the less pleasant. We arrived at 10:00 pm the exterior was lit up quite bright. Shining very bright lights into the front and sides of the home. Later we realized the lights never go off all night. And there are no blackout curtains so the bedrooms were fully lit all night. In addition the bedrooms have fans operated by remote. You can turn on by the switch but to do anything with them you need a remote. We could only locate 3 remotes. 2 had no batteries and 1 had a dead battery. So no one could turn on fans. And with the lights shining into the rooms you couldn’t shut the doors or the bedrooms became very hot. So it was either sleep in the dark and be hot or leave the door open and be cooler but with full light. After a miserable first night we text the owners explaining the entire issue and how the remotes had no batteries and about the lights. I got one response. “The fans are operated by the remote controls”. That was the only response. Nothing else. No offer to help. All other communication was clearly by AI about checking out. I sent a picture of the remotes missing batteries and left them on the kitchen counter. So maybe they will fix them before their next guest. It has the potentialTo be a great property. But the owners or manager need to be more hands on.

Nice place in less than ideal location

The property is nice and clean and provides most necessities. We would stay again, but the location is less than ideal. Perhaps the neighborhood is starting to turn over though, so there’s potential. Towel bars, hooks and somewhere for toiletries would be helpful, and blackout curtains in all bedrooms are necessary.
