We so enjoyed our stay! Everything we needed was there. You cant find this in a hotel room! I highly recommend anyone to go and enjoy this place as much as we did. Great location to the Mammoth Cave Park and more!
This was a cute little house that was remodeled. It was clean and in a great area for mammoth cave. We are a family of 3 and had more than enough room.
The location cannot be beat unless you are camping on site. Less than ten minute from the caves. Do recommend the zip lining at Adventures. Zoo was nice and includes a tour to a very cute cave.
This house was perfect for our family of four during our vacation to the Mammoth Cave area. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very close to Mammoth Cave National Park, and all the other activities we had planned. Barry and Daniela were very responsive to the messages I sent and were great hosts. For reference, the house is about 5-7 minutes from the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center, 5 minutes from Mammoth Cave Adventure Park, 7-8 minutes from a handful of restaurants, and thereâs canoe and kayak rental directly across the street from the house. Bowling Green, KY is about 35 minutes away and Buc eeâs is about 15 minutes away.
Location for visiting the area can't be beat! Easy to get to and extremely close to Mammoth Cave.We had a great family getaway. This was a fantastic cute house to begin and end our days at. We BBQ'd at night, played some cornhole, and used the firepit. Was everything that we had hoped and more!
The place was clean and well organized and stocked. Great location to visit Mammoth Caves. Nice quiet place away from the crowds. If you plan on visiting in winter I recommend bringing slippers, floor is a little chilly.
What can I say? The property is a stoneâs throw from the National Park. Once you figure out the remote controls which are in pockets on the walls, youâre all set. The swing out front scrapes the wall, but if you sit near the wall it wonât scrape. Be aware that there are cameras outside the house.
We came to Mammoth Cave during Spring Break and this house was in a great location and the exact space we needed for our family of 4. The house is right off of mammoth cave national park. We were able to get to everything we needed in 10 minutes. We had a great trip and would recommend this house to anyone visiting the area.
We stayed over with our dogs and had a wonderful time. Comfy beds, comfortable/adjustable room temperatures, basic kitchen needs, and outdoor cooking needs. We had a great stay and will be back again! :) thank you!!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was clean and welcoming. The property owners were very kind and communicated with us from the moment we made the reservation and throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property!
Location of home is very close to Mammoth Cave. Pictures accurate of home/property. Beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our stay. Only thing, which no one has control over, was it must have been âlady bug seasonâ. Owners offered to have them vacuumed up but we just took care of it ourselves.
The property was close to Mammoth National Park, but private. We were able to watch the fireflies come out at night and saw a fox in morning. Our dogs especially enjoyed the cows across the fenceline. Would reccomend Cave City pizza.
Perfect location for a visit to Mammoth Cave National Park! The house has been completely renovated with lovely touches you wouldnât expect for the price. Great communication with the owners when we did encounter an issue during the stay.
We had a great stay! The house is in a perfect location, about 7 minutes to mammoth cave park and 10 minutes back to cave City and the interstate. The house was a great size for our family of 2 kids and 2 adults. There were even cows next door that my kids loved watching. We enjoyed the fire pit as well.
Don & daughter yearly bike ride. We enjoyed a fire side chat, saw the âNorthern Lightsâ, then watched âArachnophobiaâ again together. The beds were âjust rightâ & we slept like 3 âbugs in a rugâ. After a good nights sleepâŠwe biked the 19 mile trek on the Mammoth Cave Railway bike trail. Thanks for a lovely experience.đ€
We enjoyed our stay very much! It felt like the property was recently updated, the beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with the basics if you wanted to cook during your stay, and they had a very nice patio set up. The location was close to Mammoth Caves and other local attractions. The property owner was very responsive. Great little spot for a couple to relax and we always appreciate dog-friendly places when traveling with our dog!
The only thing the listing doesn't mention is the property across the road has some very noisy chickens/roosters and their neighbor's large free-range dogs unfortunately approached the house while we were outside, which made us feel a little wary. The property owner was responsive to our concerns and did say they would speak with the neighbors. Overall we did enjoy our stay and would come back again!
Hey guys, we're Barry and Daniela! Barry is a Bowling Green KY native while Daniela was born and raised in Ancona, Italy. We met in 2018 at a blind date and decided to get married in 2022. We love to travel, play golf and spend time with friends and family which means we go back and forth between the US and Italy a lot! In our travels we have realized the place you book can make or break a vacation, and our goal is for you to have the best stay!
