Welcome to Sleepy Bear Lodge on the Betsie! Our Betsie Bay/River waterfront home is located between Frankfort and Elberta. We have two canoes and two kayaks to put into the water from our yard. The Betsie Bike Trail is in our backyard so fishing, kayaking, boating, restaurants, bars, shopping and the Lake Michigan beach are literally a walk or bike ride away! Our large and gorgeous yard features a fire pit, horseshoes, large deck, picnic table, and patio. Watch the swans, geese, ducks, herons, eagles, and other wildlife from the big picture windows in the house or from the deck while you sip your morning coffee or tea.

House:
The upper level of the house contains one bedroom and a loft area, each with new comfortable queen beds, dressers, and nightstands. The main level is open with a spacious living room with a sofa sleeper, double recliner, a kitchen/dining area, and bathroom with jetted tub and shower. The laundry is located in the basement. The flooring in the home is new.

Cabin:
The cabin is another full living space with a full kitchen (gas range, full-sized refrigerator), living room, bathroom with tiled shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed. We also provide a queen air mattress.

The house and cabin are adjoined by the deck with spectacular views of the bay.

Hulu tv and wi-fi are included.

Our kitchens are stocked with dishes, cookware, toaster, microwave oven, full-size refrigerator, tea pot, and coffee-maker (both drip and Keurig). We provide towels, linens, soap, and laundry detergent.

There are two parking spaces in the driveway. Use keypads to access the house.

What to do within 20 minutes:
- Walk or bike on the trail
- Fish from the back yard or off the bridge
- Kayak around the bay - set off from the back yard
- Float from the boat launch into the back yard
- Gather around a campfire and connect with family and friends

- Bike or drive to Frankfort and Elberta Beach to sunbathe, play in the sand, or swim
- Walk to the Elberta and Frankfort farmer's markets or shop and get lunch, dinner, and ice cream
- Drive to Crystal Mountain Resort
- Charter a fishing boat less than a mile away to fish Lake Michigan
- Tour and hike Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park
- Sample beer at Storm Cloud Brewery in Frankfort
