The space
Elegantly adorned and meticulously furnished, this three-level residence is strategically positioned on an elevated section of the property, offering a refreshing climate and sweeping vistas of the Pacific Ocean (weather permitting) , mountains, and plains.
The main level (1) boasts an open-concept layout seamlessly blending the kitchen, breakfast area, main dining room, and living room, complete with a television. An indoor fountain with water and exotic plants creates a serene ambiance, akin to the soothing sound of rain when activated. This space leads to a natural wood deck with bamboo and thatched roofs, surrounded by greenery, featuring a wooden table for delightful breakfasts. Additionally, on this level, there's a second terrace with a lounge and dining area, connecting to an inspiring spot beneath a grand tree for casual lunches. This level also encompasses one bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, and a laundry area.
On level 2, you'll discover two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open terrace for unwinding and stargazing.
At ground level (or gardens), a pristine 5x10-meter "infinity" pool is complemented by a ranch or pergola with a natural thatched roof for relaxation and socializing. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers and flowers, creating an invigorating and laid-back atmosphere. Adjacent to it, find an 8-person jacuzzi and an area with two hammocks for naps or reading. A firepit area for enjoying summer nights and a full bathroom enhance your convenience.

The expansive 10,000-square-meter property invites exploration of lush plants, fruit trees, and the soothing sounds of nature. At the opposite end, near the entrance, a small secondary house accommodates maintenance staff, ensuring the technical aspects related to the house are well-functioning.

Guests can make use of the main house in its entirety, the gardens, the pool, the jacuzzi, and the FirePit area.

The house is located in San Rafael de Esparza, in the province of Puntarenas. San Rafael is a town of approximately 1700 inhabitants, making it extremely tranquil and picturesque. It represents the typical small neighborhood in the countryside of Costa Rica.

Esparza, the nearest city, has a population of 28,000 inhabitants. In Esparza, you'll find commerce, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, a church, and a beautiful park in the city center.

Exploring the natural wonders around our home is an exciting journey, with hiking and waterfalls awaiting discovery. Here's a curated list, organized by proximity:

1. The rate includes "tico" breakfast (Gallo pinto, eggs, homemade tortillas, cheese, sour cream, coffee).
2. The rate includes general house cleaning every 2 days (taking out trash, cleaning floors, bathrooms and beds).
3. We offer concierge service for our guests from the first day of their reservation. We can assist you with recommendations, tour reservations, vehicle rentals, boat trips, fishing, and much more.
4. We can also coordinate your grocery shopping before your arrival for an additional cost of USD$30 plus 5% of the invoice value.
5. Pets under 10 kg are allowed upon request with an additional cleaning fee of USD $75.
6. The minimum age for renting is 26 years.
7. Parties or events are not allowed. The entry of additional guests beyond those officially registered must be approved in advance by the host.
