Chalet classique en A, romantique et rustique avec une grande terrasse et vue sur la montagne

REMODÉ POUR 2019! Ce chalet est par excellence ce à quoi les gens pensent en venant à Gatlinburg. Avec une chambre au rez-de-chaussée de la cuisine avec une salle de bain attenante nouvellement ajoutée et une télévision connectée de 43 "dans la chambre. Une salle de bain supplémentaire avec baignoire et douche donne accès au maître et aux invités / enfants dans le loft.


Tout récemment, les pièces principales ont été peintes en blanc crème pour compléter la nouvelle chambre et la salle de bain attenante et des photos seront bientôt publiées. Le salon est meublé avec de merveilleux accents de montagne et complet avec WIFI, télévision à écran plat, foyer au bois et accès à la terrasse et à l'espace de vie extérieur. La cuisine d'office vous permet de manger avec un réfrigérateur, un évier, un comptoir, un four et une cuisinière ainsi qu'un four micro-ondes et de nombreux ustensiles de cuisine.


La terrasse surplombe la cour privée et offre une vue imprenable sur le mont LeConte depuis le bain à remous. Des sièges à l'extérieur et un barbecue à gaz sont disponibles pour manger à l'extérieur et profiter des couchers de soleil et des vues sur la montagne. Le bain à remous pour quatre personnes offre une détente en plein air sous les étoiles.


Ce chalet est idéalement situé à moins de 2 miles du centre-ville de Gatlinburg et a un accès facile à l'éperon du parc national qui vous relie à Pigeon Forge en 15 minutes en voiture.

The cabin had a few items here and there that needed some attention such as a leaky toilet but overall, it was clean, comfortable and enjoyable, had amazing views, was private yet close to the strip. We would stay here again!

Pinetop

Really enjoyed the cabin and our stay. When checking in they mentioned keeping car doors locked because bears were very active. We had a bear at our cabin the 1st evening and then our last night there we were in the hot tub and the bear came onto the deck and was difficult to get him to leave. Our hot tub time was over after that. Also we had to turn in towels daily to get fresh ones. There should be a sufficient amount of towels in the cabin depending on the length of stay.

The perfect A-frame

This A frame in the mountains is perfect for a small family or group of friends. One bedroom, two bathroom, and a loft with a perfect view of the mountains when you wake up. I could not have been happier with my experience at this property. Easy to book on the VRBO app and easy check in process with the cabin rental company. Quick response from the owner on the VRBO app about questions prior to booking and quick easy booking process. The place does not come with a washer and dryer so plan ahead for your stay. Otherwise, has everything else you may need to cook for yourself during your stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the A-frame chalet Pinetop had some pros & cons. I loved the location as it was high up on the mountain & the view from the deck & hot tub was the summer the trees allow it to be secluded from other cabins around it. The hot was new & was awesome! The driveway up to the cabin is short but pretty steep. The pathway leading up to the cabin from the driveway is just a mulched pathway & is fairly steep so this would present a challenge for anyone with breathing problems to negotiate numerous times. The cabin is small as you would expect an A-frame to be. The place was very clean but the furniture in the living area is old & needs to be updated. The front door is hard to open & close properly but does close & lock. Kitchen area is small but functional. We never cook while we are on vacation so this was not an issue with us. The loft bedroom area was small but the queen bed was comfortable. The queen bed in the main bedroom squeaks very bad when you first lay or sit on it. Both bathrooms were very clean & functional. We only stayed here for the weekend but I would not want to stay here for a week due to how small it was & the outdated uncomfortable furniture.We prefer cabins with larger living areas. The biggest plus for this cabin is the new deck with new hot tub & outstanding view of the mountains especially while sitting in the hot tub! The flat screen tv in the living area is very small but functional. The flat screen tv in the bedroom is much larger but you can only get apps on it, no regular tv programming.This cabin, although it has had some upgrades, would be much more appealing if the furniture & tv in the living area was upgraded. I loved the location of the cabin!

Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed your brief stay at Pine Top. The owner has been made aware of your concerns and we are looking for solutions. The TV in the living room was changed out for a larger screen, smart TV, with the Spectrum cable app. No more cable boxes! Plus you can stream Netflix, Hulu, etc using your log in credentials. The bedroom TV is already configured this way and the "regular programming" you speak of are under the Spectrum app (our local cable provider). We look forward to seeing you in the mountains again soon.

It is above a 3 way intersection and during the day was construction going on and during the evening all we heard was traffic. Got there on Saturday and hot tub did not work. Maintenance was great and got the breaker fixed on day 2. Hot tub took 4 days to heat to 101 and that was pushing the jets button every 20 minutes to heat it up faster. Tv in living room was really small. Tv in bedroom only has apps. The oven kept tripping the breaker they just installed so we ended up grilling everything. If you want a beautiful scenery 5 stars. We did have visits from bears a couple nights! Overall good vacation.

Thanks for the review and we hope you were able to enjoy your stay in the mountains. The intersection below Pine Top can be busy, but nothing like being downtown! We regret you had problems with the oven and hot tub, everything has now been resolved. The TV in the living room has been changed out and is a larger, smart TV. It is the exact same one that is in the bedroom and both TV's have the Spectrum app loaded so you can access our local cable system. Plus, you can stream movies from Netflix, Hulu, etc using your account and log in credetials. The bears have been highly active this year and are keeping us busy! We hope you can return again soon.

Awesome cabin

The only complaint is that it was difficult getting our luggage/cooler from the car to the cabin. There is a rough path (like a trail) from the parking area to the 10 steps up to the cabin. My husband and I are in our mid/late 60s, so it was difficult for us to get our stuff in the cabin. This is a perfect place for a younger couple, or an older couple that is in better shape than we are :-)

Best Mountain View

This property had a spectacular Mountain View. We vacation in the smokies yearly and this cabin had the best views we've had yet. Perfect size cabin for my family of 3. The hot tub was wonderful and we used it every day. We did not have any issues with it. The cabin was clean upon arrival and decorated nicely for Christmas. We had a bear on our porch the night we arrived. So exciting. We will definitely be booking this cabin again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Pinetop 25 years ago for our honeymoon. We came back to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It is a precious little cabin. We would love to own it! The upgraded decorating is very nice. The owners must have been working on the landscape or something while we were there because the front yard area was a muddy mess due to the rain. A retaining wall would help to prevent the mud that covers the cars in the drive. As others have mentioned, the master mattress is very noisy. We missed the large soaking tub inside that has been replaced by a twin shower, but it was fine with the addition of a new hot tub. This is the perfect cabin for a couple. It is adorable and has basically all you need. We love it and will definitely go back again.

We are happy that you were able to relive your 25th anniversary in the same cabin you honeymooned in so long ago. The chalet has undergone many changes in those 25 years, but the mountains will always stay the same. The yard was just planted again after the new hot tub was installed and the new deck was put in place and we apologize. The new hot tub you referred to was lifted onto the deck with heavy machinery the week before your arrival and though a contained webbing of hay was used on top of the new grass seed, the amount of rain we received caused the excess run off.

Fall Delight at Pinetop

It was clean and cozy. Had a little trouble running the TV remote, but the office was quick to help out. Beautiful scenery and we loved the fall colors at Pine Top. A black bear climbed in our unlocked SUV, so be sure to keep your vehicle locked up. : )

Yes! Pinetop is a fantastic chalet that is exactly what you need for a perfect mountain vacation. We also love the fireplace, and how cozy it can make the chalet feel! The hot tub was well maintained, and all the appliances worked fine. It's located close to Gatlinburg which is great, yet still tucked away in the beautiful landscape.

We were very displeased with the bed downstairs it squeeked so bad we didn’t sleep well for 3 nights

The property was nice pretty clean the fan up above was very dirty otherwise we were very displeased with the sleeping arrangements downstairs the bed just squeaked really bad when we would get out of it

Another perfect getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got to see two bears while staying here! The cabin is very private and very clean. Several visitors of the bear persuasion came up on the deck in the night so you might want to put a chair at the top of the stairs for early warning, especially if you use the grill. We have stayed with Mountain Laurel Chalets about 5 times in the last year and they never disappoint. Excellent cabins and terrific customer service!

Cute Cabin

Nice view, relatively close to hiking trails, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen is a bit small but worked okay for cooking lite meals for two. And the hot top was nice after a long hike. Pinetop felt secluded even though there are other homes in the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Pinetop! The cabin is decorated so cute and was really cozy and clean. Our daughter loved the loft upstairs and having her own bathroom. The en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom was so nice and convenient. We had only two issues during our stay: one being that the hot tub was finally warm on our last night and even then was only 98 degrees. The TV in the main bedroom had a cable remote but no cable box, the cable cord was plugged into the TV but just hanging. That ended up being okay because we really only used the living room TV but the bedroom TV is larger so it would’ve been nice to use it if we had a rainy day. Luckily the weather was great for us and we were out most of the time enjoying the beauty of Tennessee!

Paige, thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Pine Top. Great weather is always a bonus! We were sorry to hear you had trouble with the hot tub. The downstairs bedroom TV does not have a cable box because it is a smart TV and has the cable app from Spectrum loaded on the smart screen menu. It should come up as soon as the TV is turned on and you click on Spectrum to get all the cable channels. Or, you can chose another on line platform such as Netflix or Hulu if you have your own account. Please contact us the next time you run into maintenance issues and let us help you. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of four (two adults and two children) enjoyed our stay at Pine-top. The unit was very clean. The hot tub worked great. Beautiful view. Great location- Close to downtown Gatlinburg & the National Park. There could have been more explicit directions in the check in information to LOCK YOUR CAR while in the driveway. A bear opened our car door while it was in the driveway and climbed through it. Luckily it only caused minimal damage. We frequently spotted bears in the yard. One complaint is that there was trash all over the ground by the gated trash cans by the road. I called management and was told it would be taken care of, but it was not. To me, this was additional “bear bait”.

Where are the bears???

I'm only joking about the bears. I love wildlife, although we only saw 2 turkeys! I am not sure what would have happened if we actually saw bears! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Two small nitpicks: the outside lights weren't working (or I couldn't figure them out), and there is a pillow on the sofa that has down filling....that thing needs to go!! The little feather ends stick out and scratch your skin! I was so ready to vanish that thing!! I think the view in the fall once leaves have gone down would be much better, but otherwise, nice, quiet location.
