Bienvenue au chùteau ci-dessous dans la belle vallée de Carroll, en Pennsylvanie. Nous sommes situés à cÎté de la station de ski de Liberty Mountain et entourés par le parcours de golf de Carroll Valley. Nous sommes la seule maison de location privée située à quelques pas des pistes. Notre maison de 3 chambres, 2. 5 salles de bain située sur 2+ acres est disponible pour les locations à la semaine et le week-end toute l'année. Parking gratuit sur la propriété - à pied des pistes, golf et 3 grands restaurants / tavernes. Notre chùteau est joliment meublé et décoré par un designer professionnel. Vous pouvez profiter des 2 cheminées électriques, d'Internet haut débit gratuit, de la télévision par cùble et de la chaßne HBO sur 2 nouveaux écrans plats, de hauts plafonds avec poutres en bois et d'un décor Lodge confortable. Détendez-vous dans l'une de nos salles à manger extérieures ou dans notre véranda, le tout avec une vue majestueuse sur les pistes, les verts et l'étang. Terminez votre journée avec un feu confortable dans notre foyer ou des chaises berçantes pour lire. Nous sommes à seulement 8 miles de Gettysburg historique et à 10+ minutes de 3 grands vignobles. Nous sommes proches du Apple Harvest Festival et de tous les endroits préférés du nord du Maryland. Une fois que vous restez ici, vous devrez réserver à plusieurs reprises.

We had a wonderful six-night stay at the Chateau while attending a conference at Ski Liberty and exploring the beautiful area! The accommodations were fantastic—exactly as described—and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location couldn’t be better, perfectly situated for all seasons. Even though we visited during the off-season for skiing and didn’t play golf, both activities are just a short walk away. The home is just 15 minutes to Gettysburg, so a great location for visiting the historic sites. Our host was exceptional, checking in during and after our stay to make sure everything was perfect. We’d happily stay here again!

First, we didn’t ski because we went in October. VRBO doesn’t give me an option to NOT rate the skiing and I don’t want to rate something a “poor” when I couldn’t experience it. However, the view of the mountain was beautiful.Moving onto the review: The location to Gettysburg is ideal if desiring a location that is peaceful in the surrounding countryside. The chateau is maintained well and is desirable to return to after walking the battlefield for the day.The beds were some of the best we slept in when traveling, the kitchen is well-stocked with essentials needed to cook. I took a run down Sanders which was a pleasant experience near farmland.My teenage daughter loved the sunroom and spent much of our down time in that room reading. We took our grandson and his pack-n-play and lap and behold, they had one there! Also, the owners have a campers style high chair! Absolute Godsends!Will definitely seek to return to this location in the future.

We were very happy with the property. The owner takes pride in ownership by decorating for the season. While the house has an unusual layout with an eclectic style it is comfortable and clean. The house is well appointed with furniture and the kitchen has all the necessary utensils, mugs, plates, glasses and appliances. Attention to detail includes Kleenex in ceramic boxes. It is quiet with bedrooms separated in different corners of the house. Very nice landscaping.

A good stay

I have two notes. 1. The property was perfect. It was just as listed and we are happy we stayed there. 2. Its time to stop charging for cleaning. The property had a house rull to pull all bedding and towels to be deposited by the laundry room. Yet the invoice for the property included a cleaning fee. Why would we be charged a cleaning fee and also required to complete cleaning tasks? We are post Covid by a couple years. Its time to stop.

Great location for everything

The house is isolated from the ski lodge. The yard area seems huge with the golf course close by and only one other house.Our drive to Gettysburg was simple (no turns). The library just down the street has easy walking trails along a creek. We also visited some nice parks besides Gettysburg (High Rock).The chateau is full of antiques with the largest clock ever that keeps accurate time.Two of the bedrooms are huge. The third is normal size.Everthing worked in the house which is an accomplishment.

Walk to Liberty

Perfect spot for my family and I. Clean, plenty of linens, WiFi was spotty at times but the house had plenty of board games for us to enjoy. We drove the first day to the base of the mountain and realized it's definitely walking distance. House has everything you need for a nice weekend away.

Perfect Location

What a charming home with the absolute perfect location! We had the best stay and were happy to be in a cozy home with a beautiful view, rather than the resort lodge. My only recommendation would be to clean out and update the kitchen wares. Drawers and cabinets were over crowded with worn out cooking utensils and cooking ware. However, this would not stop me from booking again by any means!

Mom's weekend getaway

A group of longtime friends planned a weekend getaway to visit Gettysburg. The house was wonderful and we had a wonderful stay. All of the directions were great, the amenities were helpful, and it was just a fun weekend. Would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Gettysburg or Adams County. The drive to downtown Gettysburg was about 15 minutes, but was not a problem.

Great house

Six of us gathered for our annual get together. The house was perfect! Clean, easy to navigate for one of us who has mobility issues, and well equipped. We would gladly stay in this lovely house again. Trish was quick to respond with the questions we had. This might well be the nicest VRBO house I've been in....and that says a lot!

Wow!

What a great property and location! We loved the 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, made it a very comfortable stay for 2 couples and a toddler (she even got her own room!). Everything you could need for a short getaway was provided and random questions were answered quickly. The location of the home was unbeatable, a short drive to the Apple Harvest Festival and close to downtown Gettysburg while still getting the feeling of a nice retreat. Highly recommend! Will definitely plan to come back for a ski trip!

Nice small town setting close to Gettysburg

We stayed here while exploring Gettysburg. It was a short drive to Gettysbury but away from the tourist section. Nice sunroom and pictures of property were accurate. There was a nice local restaurant in walking distance. I would not hesitate to stay here if I returned to the area.

Very comfortable stay again

This was our second stay and it was just as comfortable as the first. Snow was light, but the kids loved dancing around in it when it fell and made their way to the slopes multiple time. Also, incredibly convenient for night skiing and taking breaks. The home has everything you need for a relaxed stay. The decor is cozy and AprĂšs Ski--lends itself to a convivial time. Bring additional bathroom products if that is important to you. We had difficulties with the internet that were resolved promptly by the owner. I would recommend bringing your own fire stick or other streaming device to attach to the TV as the TV's in their current states cannot be streamed to or cast to. We will be back!
