Very good and safe neighborhood. Very comfortable place. Peaceful and quiet. Slept very well. Near cafes, market places, restaurants and bars. The guest house has a nice back yard. Note the host house is next to guest house.

Cozy Green Hills is very true to it's name. Such a lovely neighborhood to walk around in and the gardens around the property are just so gorgeous. We will definitely stay again!

Very nice, quiet location. Beautiful grounds and cozy accommodations. The host was very kind and accommodating. The only things that could have been improved were many of the blinds didn’t open properly to let the sun in and we had a few issues with intermittent internet outages. An added bonus was getting to pet the sweet dogs that live in the main house if the property.

Great property! It’s more spacious than the pictures indicate. There were many nice little touches, and I had everything I needed to have a really comfortable stay. I am really thrilled I was able to book this property!

The host was very nice. The property is a garage apartment behind a home in a lovely, older, established neighborhood in Nashville. It’s clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would stay here again.

Was very dark when I arrived and couldn’t see where to go in. Large dog ran up on me and startled me. Dryer machine was broken and wifi very poor. Place needs some care, but host was very kind and responsive.

We had a truly wonderful experience staying here. Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing a couples retreat or small family vacation. The host family are very sweet and we had everything we needed.

Wonderful little guest house in a great, quiet neighborhood. Very welcoming, comfortable and private - a nice, quiet retreat from the city life, while still close enough to drive to downtown Nashville.

Beautifully furnished, well supplied, spacious, and quite comfortable. Located in one of Nashville’s most attractive neighborhoods on a quiet, “no outlet,” street. We would absolutely book that property again.

Charming and convenient

Very cute and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful neighborhood with a private yard. A great area to walk our dog, too, with a creek nearby. The property is as it looks in the listing. Easy to get to everything you need. We enjoyed our stay (and the friendly little dogs on the property who welcomed us. They like belly rubs! )

Host was welcoming. Quick response to a couple of questions we had. Clean. Close to stores and Green hills mall. Lipscomb University Is 6-8 minutes. Comfortable bed. Nice kitchen and looked like was well equipped. We didn’t use much because busy with events.

Great weekend visit

My wife and I and our dog stayed here while visiting our son who is in college in Nashville. Very clean and enjoyed having bedroom separate from living room/kitchen. Only hiccup was during check in when original door code didn't work and no response to my message. I called after 10 minutes and they quickly reset the code.

Visiting my son at Lipscomb University which was about 5 minutes away. House was convenient to dining, grocery store and downtown also. This is a guest house next to the owner's main house. Says it sleeps 4 but i think it would be a tight squeeze. Spacious for 2 people. Everything was comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend and will stay again.

A Sweet Abode

It’s a cute unit behind the owner’s home. The yard is beautiful, but the parking & set-up awkward. The owner wasn’t interested in providing input— so we just did our best to figure it out (during our 6-day stay). The shower has serious wood-rot beneath it - & needs significant work.

Tastefully decorated and homey

We recently stayed at Green Hills Getaway during a trip to Nashville to help our son move. The property provided a comfortable space for all three of us, and our dog particularly enjoyed the outdoor area.The property management company was fairly responsive with communication. We did have a minor issue with parking, as we needed space for two vehicles, but the owner was very helpful and came out to quickly resolve it. The neighborhood is lovely, with many charming local businesses to explore. Although our son ultimately chose to live near North Nashville, the location of Green Hills Getaway was still convenient for accessing all the areas we needed.Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Great location

The location was fantastic. Nashville and the surrounding areas were great. The instructions provided to get in and out of the unit were spot on. The house is dated, needs repair and smells a bit musty. The shower floor around the drain feels like it is falling in and not safe. The vent fan in the bathroom makes horrible noises. The air filter needs to be changed. The wifi was spotty and would buffer while trying to watch movies. The parking was very tight. Given the nightly rate I would have expected a higher quality unit.

My wife and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary. Overall, a great stay. The shower was a little funky, with very slow drainage. Also, the front lock would give us problems, not every time, but enough to be annoying. Our host did respond to everything, so communication was excellent. The property overall was in a beautiful neighborhood. The owner of the property has 3 dogs that free roam their property. While my wife and I enjoyed them, some people might not. They had electric fence collars, so they don’t leave the property. Very clean, with a comfortable bed, nice enough pillows, and HVAC that was really effective. Washer and dryer are older units, but they both worked, though the dryer was a little slower. Dish ware was good, and the gas stove was a nice touch. The TV’s are also a little different. We couldn’t really get anything to work with either. We didn’t really sit down and want to watch TV in general, but watching a little football would have been cool. We would definitely stay at this location again!!

We appreciated our stay overall, but I did want to share a few important notes for future guests. The listing mentions animals roaming the property and that dogs should be kept on a leash, which we fully respected. However, the host’s dogs frequently came right up to our back door and also approached us very closely while we were trying to walk our dog. This created some stressful moments, as our dog does not do well with unfamiliar dogs. For the safety and comfort of guests, it would be helpful if the host’s animals were also kept on a leash when guests are staying in the back property. The dogs would bark at us when we were outside. Additionally, while the listing did note animals, it did not make it clear that the rental is directly connected to the host’s main home. Someone from the household did come to our back door to introduce themselves, which I know was intended to be polite, but it felt a little intrusive. Clearer communication and boundaries would make the stay more comfortable.
