The Second Story is a newly built (2023) carriage house on private property in downtown Indianapolis, two miles north of the city center. Located in the Historic Herron Morton neighborhood, Second Story is a 20-minute drive from the airport, a few minutes drive (or 25-minute walk) to the Bottleworks district and Massachusetts Avenue shopping areas, and a 7-8 minute drive to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indianapolis Convention Center.
We had the best stay at the Carriage House. It is all new and has amazing furnishings along with being very clean! Loved everything about it! It is located in a super cute neighborhood also. We walked from downtown one day but took Ubers back and forth the rest of weekend which were easy to get. I highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again when we come back to Indy. Thank you to our host Amy!
Amy and her husband were fantastic hosts. The carriage house was tastefully decorated and incredibly welcoming. They thought of everything a traveler might need to make their stay feel like home. Its location was perfect for our family, just a few blocks from our graduation party. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, with so many quaint homes and beautiful gardens. If we ever return to Indy, we would definitely rent this home again. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!
Wow! If you need a place to stay in Indianapolis donât pass this up. My sister and I were lucky to snag this for the Taylor Swift concert and after leaving, we both agreed if we ever find ourselves needing to stay in Indianapolis again we would stay again. Very clean, updated and comfortable home. Owner is very communicative and available if you need anything.
This unit is really well appointed! I only stayed for a couple of nights, but it would be comfortable for a longer stay! The owners really thought of everything. I had forgotten toothpaste and found a package with toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom:-) very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to downtown, but more affordable and comfortable than a hotel room. I highly recommend!
