Tennessee getaway

This is our 2nd time staying at this cabin. It's very nice and accommodating. We love the 2 master suites with jetted hot tubs plus the one outside on the deck. Three things I would suggest: 1) Remove spider/cobwebs around deck and front door area. This would definitely improve the outside appearance. 2) Replace rockers outside on lower deck. 3) Towel hooks in bathrooms. This is a great cabin with a beautiful view and the location can't be beat.

Great location but...

This is a rental property that has been well used but minimally maintained. It has potential to be really nice but needs some improvements. The mattresses need zippered covers, the rugs are a tripping hazard and the showers need mats just to make it safe. Maybe my expectations were to high since I don't usually stay at this type.of property. We will be using hotels from now on. are a tripping hazard

Extremely close to attractions. Host very easy to deal with and even has some wonderful suggestions for places to eat and visit while in the Smokey Mountains of Eastern TN.

Can't say enough good things and Mark and Donna. They were excellent communicators, worked with us to make our stay 1st rate. Cabin in very good, and the view from the hot tub, balcony was unbelievable. Highly reccommend.

Excellent location for Dollywood and Pigeon Forge get-away!

The roads getting to the resort took some time to get used to, but the location was nice. We had a family get-together from four different States, pretty much met in the middle. We had opportunities to cook at the cabin and go out to eat. Nice views of mountains and we were able to see the fireworks at the Island.

Perfect Cabin and Location!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The cabin was clean, and had an updated kitchen, which was nice. The main level floor plan is different than most, which was cool. But, best of all, it took 5 minutes to get to Dollywood! We have season passes and went to the park every day. The Hosts were great to communicate with, and recommended the best dinner spot! We will certainly be back!

A Gem in Pigeon Forge - Perfect Stay!

Our stay in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, was an absolute delight, thanks in large part to our wonderful VRBO hosts and their clean home. From the moment we booked, our hosts were nothing short of informative and attentive, ensuring we had all the details needed for a seamless check-in and a comfortable stay. They provided great tips on local attractions, dining spots, and even hidden gems in the area, which allowed us to experience Pigeon Forge like locals. The location of the property couldn’t have been better - nestled in a peaceful area yet conveniently close to all the attractions Pigeon Forge has to offer. After long days exploring the beauty and excitement of the Smoky Mountains, and the various entertainment options, returning to this tranquil home was the perfect way to unwind. Overall, our experience was outstanding. The combination of the informative hosts, the clean and comfortable home, and the ideal location made our trip to Pigeon Forge unforgettable.

When we got there the cabin hadn’t been cleaned, garbage running over in kitchen floors dirty in living room and kitchen, Bathroom filthy with garbage running over, linens not changed on bed, had hundreds of lady bugs in bed, bedroom, living room , 80 degrees in cabin. Had spider webs living room bedroom, we hand to clean up lady bugs in bed before anything, take linens off downstairs bed and put on main bed, clean bathroom, wash towels, we had to clean up the porches. It took until midnight for the cabin to cool down. After talking to Donna,owner, she was going to send someone the next day at 9am to clean up. After we went to bed my wife woke me up and said someone was breaking in so i got up to handle and Donna, owner, had found someone to come that night and the cleaning lady was as startled as i was because she said the owner, Donna, didn’t tell her anyone was in cabin. So after all of that she cleaned cabin. I have requested a refund for one night but haven’t herd back

Perfect location and hosts!

The property was in a prime location for what we wanted to do. Everything was a short drive. The cabin is spacious but has few amenities if you want to cook and very few towels, none for the pool or hot tub. We did bring our own which the host recommended. We needed the hot tub cleaned when we got there and the hosts were very attentive. The cabin is outdated in my opinion, including furniture and carpeting being very worn plus cobwebs and items under the bed that the cleaning people obviously missed. The outside of the cabin could use furniture and cleaning. We had to clean off the cobwebs by the deck and hot tub and our dog kept getting into the prickly weed bushes next to the house. I would stay again but I would want it to be cleaner inside and outside. It just needs some attention to detail and minor maintenance to put it in great shape. For the price we paid I expected more.

Great location

We stayed for a week while visiting the area. We loved that it was close to all in pigeon forge but sat up on a hill. The first night our neighbors were very loud but after that it was quiet. It does help that the cabin is on the corner. It was nice to just have a code to get in and not to have to worry about keys. The house is large and we enjoyed the kids being downstairs and us upstairs. Two king beds was great! The hot tub overlooking the Dollywood fireworks each night really made it special. The things that need improvement is that house is showing its age (based on pics- I thought it was a relatively new home). The title says luxury new cabin- but it is not new. The carpet had lots of stains downstairs. The master blanket upstairs had mold on it. Many of the blinds were broken and one was missing. Several chairs at the kitchen table were missing. With that being said I contacted the owner and she said she would work on it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Neglected Cabin

Upon arrival the Hot tub was half full of nasty water. We reported to Owner, they answered quickly and sent a service person, more issues with hot tub... we did get to use the hot tub on day three. All exterior windows were dirty, which effected the view. Very deep dog claw marks in the woodwork around all interior doors. Black water marks around dining window where there had been a leak. The worst of the worse was the mattress! The mattress was covered with large brown and yellow stains! It was disgusting! Definitely a health code violation. There was a mattress cover, but it was not zipped/ sealed, just a worn out cover flopping over the urine soaked mattress. We reported all the issues, more than I've mentioned here. The only thing addresses was the hot tub. We let them know we were not at all happy and wanted to find another place, they did not offer ANY refund. They did let us know their growing family relied on this income, which sounded more like emotional manipulation at the time. This was not a "New Cabin" as advertised. FYI: the pool looked good, but it is not heated. We were not able to use it. :( I would NOT recommend a stay here!

Host will try to EXTORT you and keep your MONEY-I would question all the good reviews you see below

Neighborhood was beautiful, house could have been updated and better cleaned. Pictures appear to make the property & furnishings newer than it actually is for the prices they are charging however I believe it would have been fine had my family and I actually got to stay in the property. We arrived close to midnight after driving 20 hours, check in was smooth with the exception of no lighting on the driveway (side of the house) we had to leave our headlights on in order to see where we were walking in order to get into the house, as a result our car battery died. We opened the door and noticed the house smelled moldy & musty. We walked through the home and found the 1st floor (where the 2nd bedroom is located) was flooded under the carpet. There was a note on the HVAC system that stated "Leak in wall". I reached out to the Host and indicated we could not stay given these circumstances and my son had nowhere to sleep. I told the Host we had to call AAA for a jump since my car battery died and indicated as long as they came out we would be leaving the property ASAP. AAA couldn't come out until 9am (9 hours later) so we were at the house until that time. Around the same time a "plumber named Joe" showed up at the property unannounced (I only saw him pull up because I was outside). I allowed him to come into the home and check on the water damage, he indicated he needed to shut the water off and put fans in there to dry it all out so we needed to be out of the property for that. I told him that we were leaving now that AAA had come, I notified the host the moment we left. I had to find a last minute resort in the area and off we went. We lost all the food that we couldn't refrigerate while waiting to check into our new place. When I asked the host to refund my payment (since I couldn't stay in the property) she tried to extort me indicating that she would only refund me IF I agreed in writing that I would not leave a review regarding this matter. I told her that was unacceptable and unprofessional. I filed a claim with VRBO (which is still ongoing); called my credit card company to dispute the charge and filed a claim with BBB. The Host has not been helpful or willing to resolve this matter. I have provided pictures, videos and proof of the host extorting me and am in the middle of handling that w/VRBO. To this date I still do not have a refund back but I will not be bullied by this host when she was in the wrong.

Amazing stay!!

Our three teenage/young adult children decided that instead of Christmas gifts, they would rather spend Christmas and New Years as a family in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. I started searching for cabins and found this gem! It was perfect for us and we had an amazing time! Donna was very accommodating the few times we reached out to her, and we even found little goodies of popcorn and hot chocolate to enjoy. Of course, the town and sight seeing is always nice but knowing we were coming back to the comforts in this cabin made our trip even more memorable!
