La Petite Maison - cottage #5 at Blue Cactus Cottages close to wineries
Oh my! What a gem! A French inspired cottages nestled 6 minutes from downtown Ellijay! The art and deck are divine! Crisp cotton sheets tons of books to choose from. Add wood to the fire pit and gaze at thousands of stars. ::::dreamy sigh:::: hit the vineyards or bird watch.
Super cute, very clean, and had lots of little extras to make your stay even more comfortable! Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again if ever in the area.
Loved staying here. It's close enough to Ellijay that you never feel that far from downtown, but far enough that you feel like you're actually in the midst of some quiet and countryside. Charming interior, comfortable furniture, and great back porch. It's a great spot!
As promised, the only fireworks heard were from the town celebration but far enough away to not be a problem. This was a first visit to Ellijay; very charming town and easy to get around. Visited Roo Vineyards, Ellijay Mushrooms and Cress Creek Farm made a delicious Shepherds pie from the ingredients I bought!! La Petite Maison was like a treehouse tucked into the woods we were happy hanging on the deck listening to the birds enjoying the peace and quiet, the lightning bugs and the fire pit. Cottage very charming and comfortable
We had a wonderful time at the cottage! We enjoyed the hot tub and made a couple of dinners in the kitchen while we were here. Roo Vineyards winery is fantastic and we canât wait to go again! We would love to stay at La Petite Maison again. It had everything we need.
This little cottage couldnât have been more cozy and perfect for our weekend getaway. Location is close to trails, wineries, and downtown Ellijay! But we had no problems staying in and utilizing the hot tub and back deck furniture and fire pit! We truly couldnât have asked for a better and more hospitable experience. Highly recommend booking! You wonât be disappointed.
Cute rustic cabin, really had everything you need. Killer porch/ balcony on 2 sides. Driveway is iffy, but was able to get in and out. Overall very quaint mountain cabin in a beautiful setting.
I spent six days at the cottage in July with my teenager and his friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is private, peaceful, and serene - highlight was a doe and her fawn on the hillside off the back porch. The bed was one of the most comfortable Iâve slept in for a long time, and the lush towels were a treat. It was great to be able to stay in and cook when we wanted, but also get into town in just a few minutes. Itâs a beautiful spot.
Kimy is an amazing host - super responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for hosting us!
We absolutely loved this cottage. We felt at home. It had everything we could need. The bed was very comfortable. Loved all the small details throughout the cottage. The hot tub was perfect, loved seeing all the stars while we soaked. Host very responsive and gave so much information on the places we should check out. A MUST if visiting Ellijay area.
Our stay at La Petite Maison was nothing short of spectacular. The cottage was precious, clean & nestled back in the woods. The serene sounds of nature all around had to be my favorite part of the early morning and evening. We enjoyed every second spent here and will absolutely be booking again very soon. We brought our pups along (best decision we couldâve made.) Beautiful drive to downtown, plenty of great places to eat & explore. Kimy was such an amazing host!! She provided all sorts of recommendations as well as quick responses to any questions we had. Do yourself a favor when in the North Georgia mountains & book this cute cottage! Wishing we could give more stars!
We enjoyed our stay immensely and would book again in the future. The cottage has been decorated and renovated in a thoughtful way. I particularly liked the view looking out the french doors into the trees. We had everything we needed to cook meals and relax. The hot tub was a nice amenity. The location is very convenient to downtown Ellijay. We enjoyed a daytrip to Blue Ridge as well. I appreciated that we had plenty of soft towels, robes and dedicated hot tub towels. The driveway is a bit of a challenge, might be better suited to 4 wheel drive types.
