Cozy Cabin on Elk Lake

This cozy cabin, perched above a quiet, beautiful lake, with views of soaring pine trees and wildlife is a great place for relaxing next to the warm fireplace, or taking a dip in the cool water. If you're feeling adventurous, consider hiking nearby trails, or enjoying a game, or a laugh with family and friends around the fire pit.

The cabin sits about 80 steps (a challenge for some) above Elk Lake. Elk lake is a no wake lake that is great for fishing, kayaking (we have two), and swimming.

The space:

The cozy cabin has four bedrooms on the main floor. One queen, two double beds, one single bed and a full futon and one full bathroom on the main floor off of the fully stocked kitchen and family room. The upstairs has a queen size bed bedroom and a full bathroom with its own heat and air conditioner and a beautiful view of the lake.

Stay comfortable with central air during the warm months and a wood burning fire place in the cool. Sip your coffee or grill out on the deck off of the kitchen on the patio furniture or picnic table.

Outside, let your children, or furry friends play without worry in the fenced in yard. Start a fire in the fire pit or try out some provided yard games in the large grassy yard.

At the lake:
There are about 80 steps to reach the lake. Trust us, it is well worth the hike if you are physically able. Please know that the steps may be too much of a challenge for some. Elk lake is a beautiful no wake lake perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. We have a dock at the water to relax, swim from, or tie up your boat. We also provide two kayaks, a paddle board, paddle boat, and life vests. There is a boat landing directly across the lake about 1/4 mile down the road-a quick drive, or a nice walk.

We supply the following: blankets, linens, pillows, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker and coffee, glasses, cups, water, firewood for heating the cabin, outside chairs and table, grill, fire pit and washer and dryer in the basement for your convenience.

Guest access:
The whole house is available for guests.
