The Capone House-Al Capone's Historic AC Clubhouse
Come enjoy a stay at the Historical Waterfront Capone House of Atlantic City! This history-filled property was once used by Al Capone to smuggle alcohol during the prohibition era. Using boats to come in through the covered dock, Capone and his crew would unload alcohol through a pulley system into the garage. Once inside, the crew settled in at the indoor bar for a tasting!

Located in the Bungalow Park neighborhood of Atlantic City on the water, this single family home has a narrative historical background while providing an updated and enjoyable space for a relaxing getaway.
If only the walls could talk! Tour through the house to see aspects of memoir and interesting facts from during the Prohibition Era.
This home is a perfect location for a family or group to soak up all the best that Atlantic City has to offer. Located across from the Historic Gardner’s Basin, not too far from the casinos, beach and boardwalk!
UPON ENTRY:
-Upon entry, you will walk into the foyer.
-There is a circular bench on the right which Capone's security guard would sit on with a Tommy gun to look out for any law enforcement.
LIVING AREA:
-Walk into the first living area where you will find plenty of seating and a TV.
-The dock is attached to the back door here, but is unavailable for use.
GROUND LEVEL BEDROOMS:
-The ground level is where you will find 2 of the 4 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed as well as a twin bunk bed. At the back of the house is the second small bedroom which has a full bed.
MAIN LIVING AREA:
-Upon walking upstairs you will walk into the main living area and kitchen.
-This is where Capone and his crew held meetings and larger gatherings.
-There is plenty of space for everyone to gather here! The open concept space is great for entertaining and has a large TV.
MAIN LEVEL BEDROOMS:
-Walking back into the hallway you will find the third bedroom which has two queen beds side by side.
-Further down the hall is the primary suite which has a king bed, ensuite bathroom and a small patio to enjoy the morning sun.
-The laundry room is also attached to the primary.
DECK:
-There is a deck on the second floor which overlooks the water and has a small table and seating.
-The deck is covered and has a fan so it's not too hot during the summer months.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
*There are 4 Bedrooms and 3 Full Bathrooms. The layout is as follows:
BEDROOM 1- Primary Suite with 1 King Sized Bed , Ensuite Full Bathroom, TV (2nd floor)
BEDROOM 2- Two Queen Sized Bed, TV (2nd floor)
BEDROOM 3- 1 King Sized Bed and 2 Single Bunk Beds, TV (1st floor)
BEDROOM 4- 1 Full Sized Bed (1st floor) *this is a small room, and it is water side so it can be cooler, there is a space heater for additional heat
BATHROOMS:
BATHROOM 1- Located in Primary Suite (2nd floor)
BATHROOM 2- Located in the hallway (2nd floor)
BATHROOM3- Located off of main level Living Room (1st floor)
AMENITIES:
-All TV's are smart TV's (no cable, only streaming apps).
-The house has central forced air for heating and cooling with separate thermostats on each floor.
-The home is also equipped with Wifi, a coffee maker, hair dryer, fire pit, a grill, wine cooler, and much more!
NOTE:
-This is an old historical home, it has been restored and updated but keep in mind there are still old time characteristics and original aspects within the home such as flooring, windows, doors and built ins. Appreciate and be respectful of these timeless details.
ACCESS & ENTRY:
-Guests will have access the entire home except the garage.
-There are stairs to enter the home and to the second floor.
-Be respectful to the neighbors and surrounding homes and businesses.
-Check-out time is promptly at 11:00 AM. Failure to check out by this time may result in a $100 fee per hour. We appreciate your cooperation.
KEYLESS ENTRY:
-There is keyless entry. Your host will provide you with the door code approximately one hour prior to check in the day of your trip.
PARKING:
-Guests may use the driveway directly in front of the garage that can fit 2 vehicles.
-There is also a shared driveway in front of the entrance walkway that can fit 2 cars, but guests must remain parked on the left side only.
-Street parking is available if needed.
-The street can occasionally flood during high tide or coastal flooding. Parking in the driveways is suggested.
-Guests are responsible for city street parking compliance; read & follow signage to avoid tickets.
MAIL:
-Do not ship items to the property.
-Contact us for alternatives if needed.
-We are not responsible for shipped items.
ENVIRONMENTAL NOTES:
-Property located in a city environment; potential noise from traffic or foot traffic.
-Proximity to the bay may cause coastal flooding; street may become inaccessible.
SECURITY:
-The home is protected by exterior ring camera security.
HONESTY and EXPECTATIONS:
At "The Capone House", we want guests to understand the difference between vacation rentals and hotels. Wear and tear is normal. We address issues as quickly as possible.
CLEANING:
Our cleaning team sanitizes each home. Minor oversights may occur but will be addressed if significant.
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:
Appliances and systems may occasionally require repair. We respond promptly when issues arise.
AMENITIES:
-WiFi included; exterior ring camera security.
-Linens, towels, and basic amenities provided.
-Guests must replenish supplies when they run out.
-No detergent provided.
-Basic cookware only.
RESERVATION/CANCELLATION:
-Changes may incur fees.
-Cancellation policy applies.
-Trip Protection suggested.
-After booking, guests complete rental agreement and verification.
OUR COMMITMENT:
We aim for a 5-star stay while being transparent about expectations in a private home.
HOUSE RULES:
-21+ to book; booking guest must stay.
-No unregistered guests ($200 fee).
-No parties or events.
-Quiet hours 10 PM–7 AM.
-No smoking ($250 fee).
-No candles or open flames.
