Welcome to The Nantucket Nook! Make yourself at home in this splendid house in South Venice. This wonderful 2 bedroom 2 bath pool home sleeps up to 6 with many amenities to make your stay delightful.

If you enjoy outdoor living, this is the place for you! The outside oasis includes a spacious porch area and a sparkling heated pool to add to your fun and relaxation. The pool is enclosed with the lanai to keep the nasty critters away. The backyard is private with lots of plants and trees to please your eye. Enjoy the fruit trees around the property – lime, lemon, tangerine, mango, avocado, starfruit, Barbados-cherry, peach and banana.

You have multiple outdoor seating options that include sun and shaded areas with a couch (great for napping!), table with and small refrigerator for your beverages. On the other side, there is a gas BBQ as well as a wood fired stone pizza oven!

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities to accommodate your party of 6 comfortably. Having cooking utensils, dishes, pots and pans stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and a coffee bar for your eye-opening morning pick me up.

The open concept of this home has the kitchen flowing right into the living room with a counter height island for your indoor dining options as well a four seat table across the room. The living room has a brand new leather sofa with reclining seats and two beautiful accent chairs for your comfort. The smart TV offers live TV channels and has access to Prime Video, Netflix, Paramount, Peacock, and other stations (bring your logins).

The kitchen opens to the cozy Florida Room with casual seating and a futon bed for an extra sleeping option. The sliding doors from this room open to the pool and patio on one side, and the BBQ’s and pizza oven on the other.

#1 Bedroom, master suite with a king-size custom made bed has a large dresser and armoir for unpacking and staying organized during your stay. A side table with bedside lighting and alarm clock here for your use. Enjoy the large smart TV while dozing off to slumber. This master bath ensuite includes glass enclosed private shower, toilet and sink (no bathtub).

#2 Bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, is located on the opposite side of the home from the master. With another TV in this room, it’s cozy and private with the bathroom in the same hallway. This room has a smaller dresser with a large closet, smart TV, side table, bedside lighting and an alarm clock. This room also includes a desk, desk chair and a printer for your use.

#3 Additional sleeping options include the futon couch which folds down into a bed and a rollaway mattress (located in Bedroom #2 closet) to be set up where needed. Both additional sleeping options have linens, blankets and pillows available to make these pleasant options for sleeping. The futon is located in the Florida room which has windows with no window coverings facing the back yard.

All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, provide hotel grade bedding and linens and a luggage rack for easy unpacking.

The main bathroom is located in the hallway next to Bedroom #2. It has a glass enclosed shower with no bathtub. Both bathrooms will be furnished with bath towels and starter toiletries for your use. Longer stays may run out, so please be prepared to purchase what you need to finish out your stay.

There's an office area set up in Bedroom #2 with a printer and a hard wire option to the internet for those who might be working remotely.

The laundry facilities reside in the well maintained and very clean garage for use during your stay. Again, we provide starter laundry pods and dryer sheets. Please be prepared to purchase what you may need to finish out your stay.

Guests have access to the entire home.

In the garage you will find some floats for the pool, beach chairs and umbrellas, enough for 6 people, for your trip to the beach, a small cooler and beach cart. We also provide 4 beach cruiser bicycles for your use. The garage may have motorcycles stored there for the Owner's use. Please do not touch or climb if they are present.

We offer a complimentary starter kit of necessary amenities, such as dishwasher pods, laundry pods, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, tea, sugar, and individual creamers, which is generally enough for shorter stays but after that is used up, it is the responsibility of the guest to provide the rest for themselves.

The Nantucket Nook is professionally cleaned after each rental. Brand new dish sponges and shower loofas are supplied for your use during your stay.

We do our best to keep our pool and surrounding area well-maintained. Please let us know if there are any issues.

This home has weekly lawn and pool maintenance and quarterly exterminating services, so please be advised that someone will enter the property at times for these purposes. They will not access inside the home unless there is something that needs attention and this will be arranged with you as needed.

During the cooler months, there is a pool heating option for an additional fee of $25 per day for each day of your stay. Please let us know prior to your stay if you will be using the heater on the pool so we can arrange for payment.

We offer self-check in with a keypad located at the front door. There are no steps/no porch to enter the home. The home is monitored by cameras at the front door and in the driveway as well as inside the garage to monitor the motorcycles. There are no cameras inside the home.

Other things to note:
Lawn crew and pool crew come during weekdays.
We may be able to offer luggage drop off if you arrive earlier than check in.
No more than 3 cars permitted at the home at one time and must be parked in the driveway.

**No glass by the pool (plasticware is available in the hutch in the kitchen)
**This home is in a residential neighborhood. Please be mindful of the neighbors, as this is where they live. Quiet hours are from 10pm-9am.
