My family enjoyed our stay at 3 Little Pirates. We absolutely loved the private beach entry from the back yard and the pristine beach conditions.

The host was amazing. When reserving the home online I had advised my reason for booking the property was a mini vacay for my mother’s birthday. The host graciously left a small gift bag and sweet card for my mom for when we arrived. The property was very comfortable and had incredible beach access. The only small downside would be the front/back yard area had quite a bad ant problem causing us not to hang out for too long in those areas and to lug our beach gear up onto the porch each night to avoid the ants getting on our things. A very small issue compared to the other great qualities of the property and overall a very good experience.

Pictures on Verbo were a little misleading. Place was fresh off remodel apparently in photos. Needed a little more TLC. Not horrible at all. Ocean front was worth everything, but just needed a little more upkeep. Upstairs was still nice with kitchen. TV was rather small. Killed one cockroach downstairs, Orkin could fix this issue quickly inside and out, ants bad outside on front walk. Can’t take care of your business in downstairs bathroom, washing machine too close !! All in all a lower rental fee would’ve been more appropriate for property but I get it being ocean front.

Awesome location! Has plenty of bedrooms which was great - however, it can get a little hotter downstairs in the bedrooms. Perfect place for being outside on the beach as much as possible.

This was the perfect house and location for our vacation. We were right on the beach and not far from restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our time here!

Lovely older beach front property. Beautiful location on Folly island; less crowded and very quiet. Beaches are very clean. Beds are only negative. Cheap mattresses and not comfortable. All of us felt like our feet were higher than our heads. Pillows extremely worn and flat. Hard to refresh and rejuvenate when you can’t sleep well. Kitchen well stocked. Bathrooms very tight; one missing toilet; one missing a shower. Overall a decent place. Upstairs very nice. Downstairs could use some updating.

Right on beach… not crowded… surfers late in day . Great for family w children that nap. Kids nap while parents on deck or beach very close.

You cannot get a better view and ocean front experience! This cute beach house had everything we needed. The fourth bedroom had no egress without going through another room which is better for kids than a girls trip but it was fine. Bathroom is tight but I would keep the washer which was convenient. Water pressure amazing! Beds pretty good and area quiet. Owner quite pleasant and right nextdoor.

Very clean beach front spot

House itself is a bit dated however everything about the property was as clean or as new as could be. The spot itself also could not be beat. Direct beach front and away from the crowded beaches near the pier. Absolutely would bring my family here again.

3 little pirates

3 friends for a girls week beach trip. We had the best view and couldn’t pull ourselves away from the beach. We had the best time just sitting on the deck watching lol the surfers and waves. We met the owner of the property and really enjoyed talking with.

Spectacular Sunrise

Unobstructed ocean view and beach access. Easy check-in. We rented bikes to ride up/down beach during low tide. Recommend walk/bike/drive to the end of the inlet - lighthouse, driftwood, starfish, sand dollars…and lucky to witness a close-up view of a mama and baby dolphin!

Spring break 2025

Great spot right on the beach. Room configuration a little odd as well as the bathroom situation but decent rooms and showers. Would have liked to have had a colander and beach towels. Please note that the grill is charcoal not gas and bring your own sponge unless you want to do dishes with an 2 by 2 square. Other than that everything was wonderful.

We're happy to let you know we'll be adding a colander for future guests. Just to clarify, we don't provide a grill at the property. The charcoal grill you saw was left by a previous guest. Also, we include a note in our check-in instructions, sent 7 days prior to arrival, that beach towels are not provided. We apologize if this wasn't clear! Great beach access and ocean views. Kitchen and linens were well stocked. Ample seating in living room and dining area with an updated feel. All bedrooms were downstairs with one being accessed through 2 other bedrooms. Downstairs bathrooms were not updated, were very small and not layed out well. Not much more than 6” between toilet seat and washing machine which made using bathroom very difficult especially with older adults.

Overall this is a great location. Very secluded beach with very awesome beach access. Good communication when we had an issue with the dishwasher on a weekend.My biggest issue is in the listing. The pictures don’t quite give a full idea of things. There have been updates but it’s definitely an older cinder block building. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub (no shower) and toilet. The other things on that floor are the kitchen and dining area and living room. Downstairs are the bedrooms. Three are connected. One is not. There is a tiny bathroom with a pretty nice shower with great water pressure but no toilet. Next door is a not so nice shower with a toilet that’s very hard to get to. My kids were fine on it but I felt claustrophobic using it. There’s a washing machine directly in front of it and if you are a bigger person it’s not going to work for you. Even my 4 year old complained about how tight the fit was.Comes with a baby gate thankfully but the inside stairs are in the middle of the room which is definitely an attractive nuisance. Just an fyi in case you plan to go with younger kids. You can see this in the pictures though. AC did great most of the visit but we had one day that was super hot and humid and the units could not keep up. They do have stand fans in two of the bedrooms that helped a lot when it was still 77 at bedtime. Would I stay here again? Yes. Overall it was worth it for the convenience but I hope they update the downstairs bathroom situation.

Location was really great. Right on beach and away from the crowds. Never once had to get to the beach early to reserve a spot. Communication was great and check-in process was easy. They emailed some information before our stay with a lot of helpful info. The VayK credit was a nice addition. I was worried that it would be loud since it was right next to another unit but we never once heard the people in the unit next to us. We were disappointed that there wasn’t any closets in any of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were very disappointing but at least there was good water pressure. There are only two toilets even though the listing says three. There are two showers and one bathtub without a shower. I can see why they didn’t post any pictures of the downstairs bathrooms. The downstairs bathrooms and the four bedrooms were bunker like and reminded me of church camp. We were hot the entire stay as the air conditioner units just couldn’t keep up.
