We couldn't have been happier with the place. We were only there for 2 days, 3 nights but loved every aspect of it. Less than a 15min walk to the beach, then back to the house for a BBQ and a swim in the pool, with the great weather it was the perfect get away. Mindy was a great host, with great communication, and recommendations once we arrived. Would definitely stay there again, and most importantly the dog loved it!

Great location for the activities that we wanted to do. The house was very clean and well stocked eg cutlery and cooking appliances. The pool was great for our little one and we mainly used the back covered porch which was great to hang out in. All the check in details were easy to follow and communication from the host was great before we arrived. Thanks

Great backyard!!!! My family had an amazing time and the host was the most responsive I've had. A couple of issues that could not be helped during our stay and the host was all over every detail, including providing options outside the box to make our stay perfect. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked almost every night, and the accessories for the pool and beach (especially the wagon) were great to have. Great stay!!

We just left today and we had a wonderful stay at Under the Sea. Everything we expected and more. Comfortable beds, great pool and great neighbors on the right side that live in their property. Mindy is fantastic. I will definitely want to book that property again the next time we are in Hilton Head.

It was excellent and perfect for traveling with kids. So many options and spaces to place in the back yard in addition to the pool. The walk to the beach was easy and the property came with so many things already provided (umbrellas, towels, beach toys, etc.). No complaints!

The communication with the host was excellent before, during and after our stay. The house was clean, supplied with more than adequate necessities and was fully equipped to cook any type of meal. The location is great. The yard is beautiful. The proximity to the beach is convenient.

Best family trip!

Our family of 7 had an amazing time at Under the Sea. Mindy was an excellent host and very responsive. We loved the home, especially the pool, backyard and screened in porch! The location is perfect, we would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Under the Sea. The house was very clean and had all the items needed to make our trip enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the pool and close walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was a great family get away. Great location. Short walk to the beach, walking and biking trails. House is well equiped with all you will need. Mindy was easy and quick to communicate with. We did have a couple of minor issues and Mindy was quick to have them resolved. It was nothing major and we understand things can happen. It was how it was handled that was very much appreciated! We loved our time here.

One of the cleanest property we’ve ever rented. The pool and yard are a 10, the pictures don’t do it justice. Same for the outdoor fireplace room. The only negatives are it’s a noisy neighborhood, near the fire department sirens, an airport take off lane and a yappy dog next door. None of which are the fault of the owner. The layout was perfect for 3 couples, we had our privacy when we wanted it, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the yard and pool. And one of the nicest and most responsive hosts I’ve ever dealt with and we are a family who always rents high end homes and we highly recommend this property.

I really appreciate all of the compliments, especially that Under the Sea is one of the cleanest properties you ever rented and that I am one of the nicest and most responsive hosts you have ever dealt with. I feel bad that some noise had a negative impact on your stay and I would like to address that for future guests. Nineteen reviews before yours make no mention of noise and one actually described the neighborhood as quiet. The closest fire station (1 of 7 on the island) is on the other side of the Parkway and closer to the heal of the island and most of the area served by the fire station is headed the other direction so hearing fire trucks is not very common. The flight path varies based on wind direction, weather & visibility. As the few flights that take off and land at HHH are during the day, airplane noise does not affect sleeping at night. Regarding the yappy dog, the home next door is a pet-friendly luxury rental so unfortunately those short-term guests (that were probably just staying one week) had a yappy dog, however the chances are slim that dog will be there in the future. To summarize, I do not think that noise (if any) will prevent future guests from having a wonderful stay.

A great place to stay

We stayed here for two weeks to celebrate a birthday. Mindy was so helpful with everything from questions before I arrived, to sending information the week before and available with questions while we were there! The property had everything you could need. It was also nice that the house had things to use to get started and beach towels and supplies for a trip to the beach. Definitely would stay here again!

Excellent place to stay

We had an excellent stay. House is just a short walk from the beach on a paved trail. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but also close to all the shopping you could need. Residence is beautifully decorated and has all new, quality appliances. Ample parking right in front of house. Check in/out was painless and owners were easy to communicate with either by text, phone, or email. I would recommend this rental to everyone and hopefully will be back to stay here again.

Great place for groups

Overall, really enjoyed my stay here. Myself, spouse and four friends were here on a very cold weekend so we were not able to use some of the really cool outside amenities, like the pool. But the house has two great TV rooms which allowed the guys to watch football while us girls had it on but at a volume level to also talk! HahaProperty manager was very thorough and easy to reach when necessary.Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Hilton head happiness!

From the cute pink door to the inviting warm decor this was a wonderful home. I am sensitive to heat but the back porch was so comfortable I was able to play family games! The main bedroom also got cool enough for me to sleep which is difficult. The appliances were top of the line and I enjoyed making wonderful meals and memories!

The stay was great. The week flew by-Mindy was as responsive as she could be, right on top of everything-if we texted a question, we heard right back. Checking in was a breeze, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool was awesome. The proximity to the beach was great and she had a number of suggestions that really improved the experience (especially the bike rentals-they were key!). Our two little ones (6 & 10) were either in the ocean or the pool 80% of the time they were awake; with all the pool toys and beach supplies that were there, all we needed to bring was the food and ourselves. We'd stay there again in a second when we come back to Hilton Head. Thanks Mindy!

Great family vacation!

We had a great family vacay! Loved hanging out on the back porch and playing volleyball in the pool. Our doggies felt right at home. Walked to adventure cove area for dinner at the new Nala’s beach bar and to play putt putt. The house is stocked with absolutely everything. Fully stocked kitchen. Never rented a house with so many amenities. It was great! Mindy, the owner, was so responsive for any questions or issues we had. She went above and beyond. Definitely recommend Under the Sea!

An Ideal Spot for Three Generations

Our group of 8 consisted of grandparents, parents, children ages 9, 7, and 3, and a dog. The kids were in the beautiful pool multiple times a day and Folly Field Beach is an easy half-mile walk away. The owners provided everything needed for both the beach and the pool. The house was clean and had great gathering places in the living room, kitchen, and marvelous screened-in porch. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cookware and we used the Weber gas grill multiple times. The two times we had a question for the owner, she responded to our emails and texts within 30 minutes. We kept saying to each other how fortunate we were to have found this spot. We give it our highest recommendation!
