Rating this condo as an average stay versus our expectations. This is the first time Iâve been disappointed in the many times weâve rented a VRBO property. Iâm finding that owners who manage their own properties, do a nicer job than PM companies. We had a short 3 night stay, so the things that were less than optimum were not worth contacting property mgt people for. Entry code for check-in was wrong, so we did have to call PM to gain entry. Cleanliness was not great. Dead flys on the floor, long black hair strand in bathroom sink and in one of the beds. Centipede crawling up the wall behind the sofa. Balcony was dirty so we had to wipe down table, chairs and furniture to sit out there. Also, there were things in the condo that didnât function well. The screen out to the balcony did not close all the way. One of the toilets sometimes didnât fill tank up and we had to mess with it. The same bathroom tub didnât drain when taking a shower, so water gathered up around ankles. The mattresses were not very comfortable and the full size bed in the bunk room didnât have a fitted sheet on the mattress. I donât like leaving reviews that arenât glowing!! But, the PM Mgt company needs to know what to do to improve this property - and potential renters need to know what others have experienced.
