Home was clean and great for all ages. Enjoyed the kayaks, swing set, fire pit for a relaxing evening setting. Host was easily available. Plenty of various seating areas to enjoy the Lake view.

Very nice, newly renovated home and hosts were very accomodating. Location was great for families; water was clear and kids were catching fish right off the dock. Plus, neighbors have a cute little pup who pops over to say hello. Would recommend!

Very clean home. Quite nice neighborhood for walks. We loved that the property was close to town and activities. We plan to stay here again.

This was the perfect working getaway for us! The view was absolutely beautiful, and we had our whole family there for the weekend. Everyone had their own room with a comfortable bed, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The lake was warm, clear, and perfect for swimming, and we caught so many fish! We would definitely rent this property again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway.

This place was absolutely perfect! Home is clean, modern, well provisioned with comfortable beds and great spaces to relax both indoors and out. Huge lake-facing deck along with multiple spots on the shore to sit, sip and watch the sunset. The patio is completely enclosed so your pup(s) can roam. Close to all the comforts of town if you need anything including bait and tackle. Host Matt was very responsive. He also hooked us up with a local who rents out his pontoon so we could spend tons of time on the water. Fishing was also good. The yard is spacious and relatively private given its proximity to town. We are already checking our calendar for next year's stay. Thanks Matt.

July 7-11 family vacation

Property was great and accurately advertised. Neighborhood is very quiet and plenty of privacy. We had a great time fishing in nearby lakes and had great fun right off the dock at sun down.

Updated Cabin Life

The property was updated and very clean. The lake was great for swimming and fishing. Bonfire pit was amazing. The kids enjoyed every minute that we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice place!

This VRBO was a great place for a family gathering. We had a good time hanging out on the back spacious deck viewing the water. Kids loved using the kayaks. Cons: a ladder on the dock or easier way to exit the water on shore would have been nice

We had a wonderful time. This is a beautiful lake. Our grandchildren spent everyday in the lake. Nice landscaping to make it easier to get down to the dock. 4 teen girls slept in the game room area. The house is very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

Great place!!!

Everything was as stated!!! Very clean! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!!! We will definitely be back!! Just need a ladder for the dock! But it wasn’t impossible getting out of water by any means!!!

Wonderful place to stay for our two families during our annual lake week together! The house has the comforts of home with updated bathrooms, kitchen, newer carpet and a great deck. The main yard was large and fairly flat which was great for yard games. There is a small swingset as well but we had all teenagers who didn’t use it. My son caught bass after bass from the dock- several were over the slot. The beach area stays pretty shaded all day (good if you like that), but there isn’t much area to play. As with all of the Alex area lakes, weeds hindered our ability to swim right on the property though the area is sandy and shallow enough.The garage was too hot to use during our stay (hottest week of the year) but would have worked really well for my teen son. We didn’t end up using the fire pit but appreciated the option. The second fridge in the basement bar area was awesome for our group of 8 as we mostly ate in,The house is super close to town so it’s no trouble to run in for things you’ve forgotten or just to shop, or to eat out. We loved our time here and would definitely stay again!

This home was fantastic for our weekend away in Alexander. The location and yard was great for our young families and we found the home to be clean and well presented. The bedroom situation worked well for two families and the kitchen was well set up for cooking. One warning - if you have young kids, the stairs are right when you walk in and a bit impossible to keep babies and toddlers away from it. We had to buy a baby gate from Walmart immediately. Overall, I would recommend.

Would definitely stay here again! Mosquitoes were really bad at night but this is not the owners. Maybe one suggest would be a small screen in area in the backyard so you could enjoy the lake at night. Otherwise everything was great. The property was VERY clean and updated. Loved all the refrigerator space definitely a plus for bigger groups. Location was great close enough to town and other lakes with still a lot of privacy. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed this house and grounds very much. The house has very recently been redone with a new kitchen and kitchenette, new flooring, new furniture, towels, linens, etc. the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space is beautiful. Just outside the front and back door are expanses of lawn where the kids played. Beautiful stone works creates multiple pathways to the lake. The views are beautiful! We only wished the weather would have cooperated so we could have seen a sunset but we can’t hold the hosts responsible there.

Perfect house for our Alexandria getaway. Beautiful views of the lake and sunset. Lovely landscaping with 2 firepits and a large deck with fire-table. Open floorplan made the house seem spacious and thoughtful details throughout made it feel so homey. We'd definitely stay again!

This lake place was perfect for our family vacation! Had plenty of options for people to sleep plus a bonus hang out garage! The place was really nice, clean, and organized! It had everything we needed to make all of our meals! The lake was nice and clear and we caught a couple of meals of sun fish!! Would give a 10/10 and would love to go back! The host is very responsive and was a pleasure working with! Thanks for everything!!

Our family had a great time during our recent stay. The property was great! Space for us to spread out with ample space. It was great to have 2 refrigerators available. The lake view was beautiful. A few of our family memebers caught fish right from the dock! The host was easy to get ahold of when I had a question prior to arrival. We will definately look to stay in this property again, when in Alexandria. Thank you!
