This home is a two-story house with a peaceful back yard setting.
The home has a large kitchen, a laundry area with a washer and dryer. There are four flat screen smart televisions in the home with internet access.
The first floor has an open floor plan with room dividing curtains separating the sleeping areas which include a queen-size bed and full-size bed. The first floor has a full bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
The upstairs is open with a booking of 4 guests or more and has two queen size beds, a bathroom with shower.
The front entry is at ground level, and the back entry has a patio door with a deck.
The upstairs has two accesses (indoor and outdoor).
The home has private parking away from the street.
There is room for trailers.

Great place to stay!

The property itself was great. There was plenty of room for all of us. Everyone had their own privacy if they wanted it. David was very nice and had excellent communication. The amenities were great and extremely convenient. We'd definitely stay here again

The house was a perfect fit for us 8 bowlers for the women’s state bowling tournament. Very clean and roomy and convenient location. We enjoyed it immensely and highly recommend it!!!

Girls weekend

The house was perfect for our girls weekend and having the extra sleeping space and bathroom upstairs worked great. The location was great and centrally located. The only suggestion we had was to maybe add wine glasses to the supplies and a broom or small vacuum. Thank you!

Bowling ladies

The host was very helpful. Always got back to us by text fast and answered our phone calls one the first call. Very accommodating. Had towels and soap, shampoo, conditioner…tv had a lot of channels to choose from. Ample parking for 4 cars. I would stay here again if in the area again! Don’t have to do anything before you leave. We did the dishes and took the trash out.

Weekend stay

David was a great host and the house was exactly what we needed for a weekend stay. Everything was super clean, the kitchen had all of the basics and the neighborhood feels incredibly safe. We would definitely stay here again.

Quick trip to Alexandria

We stayed two nights for a wedding near Alexandria. This house was very clean. Communication with the host was good. I like that each bed has its own Roku TV. The we forgot my daughter necklace and the host was willing to mail it to us. Overall, good stay.

Charming house with everything you need

The property was absolutely charming, immaculately kept, nicely decorated and very spacious. All appliances appeared to be new/newer. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely rent here again. David was very kind and prompt to respond. Highly recommend if in the area.

Great place to stay

This is my second time staying here and I am sure I will be back. I like the spaciousness, quiet, and peaceful surroundings. It is easy to get where I need to be and communication with the owner is a breeze. The place was warm during my winter stay even though the furnace can be a bit loud at times it didn't interrupt my sleep. Bonus is having laundry there and the necessary amenities for a weeks stay.

Girls' Getaway

The four of us friends decided to go to Alexandria this year for our annual girls' getaway weekend. Rather than staying in a hotel I found this VRBO. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already discussing next year's trip. The house was cute and cozy. It was very clean and well maintained. It had all we needed just to hang out and enjoy the property itself. David was very accommodating and accessible when we had a question. He was pleasant and was easy to correspond with. Thank you David for making our trip fun and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

Best VRBO we have stayed at!

The property is so very well maintained and streamlined. The beds are super comfortable and so much space for each person to sleep with privacy and a TV for each sleeping area. The location was fanastic, within walking distance to parks, shops and coffee! David was a very responsive host providing directions to assure we found it easily. Highly recommend this VRBO.

This property is centrally located in the center of Alexandria. Downtown and Main Street are just blocks away. Lakes, accesses, and beaches are close by. Grocery stores, shopping and dining are many to choose from. The home itself has been recently renovated and therefore is extremely clean. High-speed internet, outfitted kitchen, washer and dryer, are just a few of the amenities included.

The Cabin in the City is within one block from Noonan Park, a wooded area with a playhouse, playground, meant for picnicking, with flower beds and a duck pond that also serves for ice skating and hockey during the winter.
