We’re delighted to welcome you to one of our vacation homes and want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible. Please keep in mind that beach life sometimes brings shifting weather, town celebrations, or nearby construction. You may also encounter local wildlife such as seagulls, raccoons, foxes, or the occasional bug. Our homes are treated regularly, but a touch of the outdoors is part of Ocean City’s natural charm.



If something feels off, whether it’s an appliance not working correctly or an unexpected maintenance issue, please let us know right away. A quick photo helps, and our team typically responds promptly to resolve anything with as little disruption as possible. While these types of issues don’t qualify for refunds, we’ll always do our best to make your stay smooth.



After booking you will be asked to complete a check-in form. This form includes providing your name, birthday, photo ID, and signing a rental lease agreement. All information is stored internally and not sold to any third party as this is how we verify age and legally protect our homes.



All rentals include our full linen and towel package. Every bed will be made before you arrive, and each guest receives one bath towel along with fresh sheets and pillowcases.



Please respect the home as if it were your own. An additional $500 excessive cleaning fee may apply if the property is left in unacceptable condition, such as requiring cleanup of vomit or urine.



Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.



Personal Property & Items Left Behind

Guests are responsible for removing all personal belongings prior to departure. Please check all closets, drawers, bathrooms, outdoor areas, and under beds before you leave.

Ocean City Vacation Homes, its owners, employees, and agents assume no responsibility or liability for personal property left in the unit or on the premises after checkout, or for any loss, theft, or damage to such property. We do not guarantee that left-behind items will be found, retained, or returned.

If an item is located, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you at the contact information on file. Perishable items, opened food, beverages, and toiletries are discarded immediately.

Return shipping is available at the guest's expense and is subject to a handling fee in addition to actual shipping costs. Items are shipped at the guest's sole risk, and we are not responsible for loss or damage in transit. Arrangements for local pickup must be scheduled in advance during business hours. By booking this property you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.



Each property has its own set of house rules. Please review these carefully before booking, as completing your reservation confirms your agreement to follow them. Failure to comply with house rules may result in fines or removal from the property without refund.

Getting Around:

Salty Sands offers a modern and stylish living experience. Our newly renovated parking deck provides convenience and ease for residents, with two parking spaces included. And for those who prefer to take public transportation, a bus stop is just a short walk from our building. With plenty of street parking available, you'll never have to worry about finding a spot.



Other Things to Note:

✹ Please note that smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on our premises, including the balcony. Please book someplace else is this will be an issue for you. Salty Sands Vacation Rentals charges a $500 fine for smoking/vaping in the unit or on the balcony.



✹ This home is equipped with a device (Minut) that monitors the environment inside the property (including smoking, noise levels, temperature, and motion) to ensure guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbors are not disturbed.



✹ No pets allowed. $500 fine will be assessed and guests will need to leave property without refund. Please stay someplace else if you plan to bring your pets.



✹ Salty Sands condo association installed security cameras showing parking lot and common areas around property. The condo has a doorbell camera installed outside of the unit next do the door showing the outside of the unit. We do not have any camera or any recording device of any kind inside the property. Cameras are outside unit and only show common areas such as parking areas.



✹ During peak seasons, our dedicated cleaners may be completing cleanings until 6PM to provide the latest possible check-out time.
