We had a great stay with our family of 4. Communication was top notch and the listing was accurate. We were here for a bball tournament at the Kentucky Exposition Center and this location was great, only 10 minutes away. We did have a little mishap when we arrived but the host got on it and resolved the issue which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed our stay!
Spacious, clean, well-kept, and very responsive to maintenance needs. The area has an assortment of good restaurants and is remarkably quiet at night. There's a full bath for each bedroom, just note that one of them is on the first floor (bedrooms are all on the second). Come prepared for some squeaks and creaks when you walk around, all of which are typical for having original hardwood floors of this age.Lastly, the air conditioning is phenomenal and a welcome reprieve after walking around in the heat.
We very much appreciate the use of your property. Everything was excellent and as described. Very convenient to everything in the Louisville area - 10 minutes to airport. Street was noisy, but, it was a Friday night and it did quiet down promptly after 11 pm.
Great house. Great location half way between downtown and the convention center. Visited Louisville for a convention and didnt want a hotel 20 miles out. This fit the bill perfectly.
Great Location, Updated Baths & Kitchen, with Parking
This older home has modern appliances & large update bathrooms & kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious as well. Plenty of bath towels with bath products provided.
Convenient location to parks, downtown, & airport. Parking for three cars is a plus in this popular area of town. Check in was a breeze and the communication with the owner outstanding - very quick and accurate responses. Highly Recommended.
The property was located in a great area and served our needs well for 3 couples. The home was clean and functional and was perfect for our Bourbon Trail trip. Having reserved parking was a premium benefit for the busy Bardstown Rd area. Walking distance to coffee, food and much more.
We were here for a basketball tournament at KY Expo, and this property was a great location with a short commute. If you are accustomed to city life, then this property fits the bill; tons of shops, eats, and bars within walking distance. If you are used to a little more quiet at night, then you might find this location a little on the noisy side-late evenings. The property is attached to a shop, but there is no direct access between. The owner has renovated all spaces in the house, yet it maintains its historical charm. A few minor final touches missing such as towel racks, hooks, and TP holders in the bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with the basic necessities to make simple meals. The host was amazingly responsive. This property was very clean, the beds comfortable, and plenty of extra towels and linens on hand. A great stay in Louisville!
My friends and I stayed here to go to the PGA tour in Valhalla Golf course. It was clean, beds were comfy, and off-street parking was great. Good location. Communication with the property owner was easy and very prompt. Overall, I would stay here again, and I do recommend to other people.
Great house, perfect home for a weekend on the Bourbon Trail! Great finishes and the best location, within walking distance of pubs, coffeehouses, restaurants and everything corky in the Highlands. Already planning to come back!
