This renovated 3-story Victorian Gingerbread Cottage (circa 1869) is one of the Stockton Row homes in Cape May. The house is just steps to the beach, its about 1/2 a block away. You are located directly in town, in the Historic District, so theres no need to move the car. Restaurants, Shopping, Theaters, Tours, and the Washington Street Mall (outside walking mall) are located within a 4 block radius of the house. Enjoy the sounds of the horse drawn carriages pass by the house as you relax on the front porch. This house is perfect for one family or two.If you re planning on cooking during your stay there is plenty of seating for everyone in the dining room. Parking is quite difficult in Cape May and this house is unique as it has parking for 3 cars behind the property. The first floor of this property consists of your living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. The second floor offers a master bedroom with full bathroom, two other bedrooms and a hall bathroom. The third floor offers three bedrooms and a hall bathroom.Linens are INCLUDED at this property. This includes, sheets and bath towels included in the turnover service. The homeowner also offers a beach box for you to leave your beach items in at the end of your beach day. There are numerous beach chairs and one beach umbrella left for you to use during your stay. Wedding weekend
My stepson got married last weekend. We hosted all the groomsmen the morning of wedding plus a few family members. Location was great….walking distance to church and after party. Plenty of comfortable beds and enough bathrooms. If you have a family member getting married in Cape May this house is a perfect home base.

We are from Arizona. Loved the house. Coastline Realty did a wonderful job in communicating check in and check out. Loved the fact that beach badges and beach box was included. House is in a good location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and a half block from beach. The house is well kept and has that victorian charm. I highly recommend this vbro.

Annual Family Christmas Weekend
Every year we spend the weekend before Christmas with our extended family in Cape May. This was by far the best house we rented with regards to the size and set up of the house and the proximity to everything being within walking distance. The house was set up perfect for our needs and everyone enjoyed themselves

Great house in a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Having private parking is game changing, even in October. Weekend street parking is otherwise difficult but this beautiful house has parking.

Great 19th century property!
Fairwinds Cottage is a pleasant vacation rental, in a prime location, with large windows and natural light. The furniture is an eclectic collection ranging roughly from the 19th century through the 1950s, and it works very well. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. And, before we arrived, I asked if there was a Keurig coffee maker (the answer was ‘no’); however, one magically appeared upon our arrival. The staff at Coastline Realty have been wonderfully responsive and accommodating.
There were some features that were unexpected. For example, there is no powder room on the first floor (15 steps to the second floor). We might have guessed this , because in 19th century houses, indoor plumbing did not exist. Also, the parking area behind the house backs onto a hotel. This means there are a lot of deliveries. We were unaware that we shared some space with a hotel. These things were of no consequence for us, but might make a difference to some prospective renters.
We loved our stay!

Perfect location, clean and updated
Great location, less than a minute walk to the beach and no more than five minutes to a variety of restaurants and shops. Everything was spotless and clean. House has clearly been updated (tankless water heater so you never run out, new floors, etc) but still maintains the old Victorian charm. We were able to fit three cars in the parking lot behind the house. Only complaint is that the bed pillows are pretty hard, and the restaurant backing up to the house uses the shared driveway for deliveries, so it was loud at times and an eye sore to have trucks parking out front. But it wouldn’t deter us from staying again. We loved this house and would love to come back.

Fun Girls Weekend right next to beach!
18 Gurney was the perfect mix of Cape May Victorian charm and modern amenities. The kitchen was beautiful with a ton of utensils and anything you’d need for cooking and the living room and dining room together were large enough to seat all 16 of us! The 3 car parking lot in the back was a lifesaver and is rare to come across in Cape May, so I highly recommend this cute little house!

Spacious house in wonderful location
Great location — the beach is just a short walk from the house. A beach box is provided with beach chairs and umbrellas, so there is no need to lug everything back and forth. There are many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We were able to park four vehicles behind the house and walk everywhere.
We loved the updated kitchen which was well equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of bedroom space and linens were provided.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic well maintained and improved property in terrific location.
Spent the week after Memorial Day here with extended family. Holly at Coastline Realty was great to work with check-in and checkout just meant picking up and dropping off keys. The location could not be better - pretty much everything within walking distance with Shields Bike rental across the street. We didn't need cars at all the rear parking area handled all four cars. The property is well maintained considering its age (1869) - the updated modern kitchen is a highlight. Plenty of bedrooms and sleeping space. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Cape May.
