We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful home. The outdoor spaces were amazing, the pool was beautiful, and all the bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive! Hope to return!

This house is magnificent. From the art curation to every last detail. The staff were delightful and helpful and the breakfasts provided were excellent. Its location was in walking distance for touring the town. I can’t wait to go back. Just wonderful.

Great Place to Call Home in Oxaca!

What a great home base in the centro part of town! The house lends itself to big groups like ours....and it has all of the amenities you'd expect.....pool, gym, great staff, and round the clock security.The house is large with all large bedrooms - no one was disappointed with the room they had.It's an easy walk to the markets and all of Oaxaca's great restaurants.Nicolas could not have been nicer or more accommodating....highly recommend this property for your next adventure in Oaxaca!

Wonderful Home in Heart of Oaxaca

Our stay was wonderful! This is house is in a perfect location to explore all that Oaxaca city has to offer. You can walk to all of the different neighborhoods. The house is huge and is appointed with Mexican art . All of the beds are so comfy and the staff cleans the linens and your clothes daily! Kind and friendly staff were there to make your stay amazing and luxurious ! Nicolas was so responsive with every communication! The pool was great reprieve in the hot summer. My family of 5 including 3 young children made amazing memories here ! Thank you Nicolas!

Most magical place in Oaxaca!

The photos simply cannot do justice to the wonderful Casa Cachito. Very spacious and elegant yet welcoming and tranquil. We loved mornings over coffee in the garden drawn away only by the promise of another delicious breakfast. Rafael, both Senior and Junior took excellent care of us, recommending excursions with Juan Miguel, walking us into town, and answering our many questions. Sylvia taught us the secrets of making mole and cooked us several lovely evening meals. We can't say enough about our week at Casa Cachito. Thank you Nicolas for everything.

Sublime Oaxaca Experience

WOW! My family and I have rented a number of nice vacation homes over the years and this incredible property ranks at the top. The photos of the house are beautiful but the reality is even better. Incredibly high quality construction, design & art coupled with close proximity to the city's heart, Santo Domingo Church, make this the perfect house to enjoy your vacation in Oaxaca. However, the icing on the cake is the house's staff which are exceptional in every way. Finally, I want to give a shout out to the host, Nicolas, who was super responsive and full of good advice on all matters relating to our stay in Oaxaca. Truly, an exceptional five star experience!

It isn't often that reality surpasses expectation

but that certainly is the case with Casa Cachito! Do not hesitate booking this beautiful property because I guarantee you will be thrilled with it. From the surroundings to the architecture to the furnishing but most of all to the staff this home is perfection! Raphael, Sylvia and Minerva will take fine care of you as will Nicolas, the home's owner. I only wish every Home Away rental came with a staff as good as this! A real bonus is having Nicolas and his staff offer recommendations AND make reservations for activities, transportation and restaurants. And every recommendation was perfect! I hope to visit again soon and stay longer.

Perfect stay in Oaxaca

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful. Well furnished and the artwork is incredible. The owner clearly has an affinity for cars, as do we. The pool is wonderful. We spent a couple of days just hanging out at the house and using the pool. Minerva and Jose Luis couldn't have been any more accommodating. We loved every breakfast they made for us. Nicolas, the host, was incredible as well. He arranged transportation to and from the airport and was always available with advice. We never met him, but he was always available by email. We always felt super safe, as there is a guard at the gate 24/7. Pretty much everything in Oaxaca City is walkable from the house. Tons of fabulous restaurants. And cabs are available through the Didi app. Google Translate became our best friend - it made it possible to communicate with everyone. This is absolutely the best place to stay in Oaxaca!

Breathtaking

Our stay in Oaxaca was magical! The house is stunningly beautiful. This was a real splurge for us but it was well worth it. The house was well located -- a close walk to the center of town but on a quiet side street. Nicolas was enormously helpful and we felt bubble wrapped by a friendly, caring staff. The front gate guard made us feel secure, Luis, the house manager was lovely, attentive and responsive to our every need. He really went above and beyond!. An all day tour that we had arranged was cancelled at the last minute and within ten minutes he had found a replacement for us. Minerva did a great job of cleaning without ever being in the way (our laundry magically appeared washed and folded at the end of the day). Sylvia cooked delicious meals and even gave me a cooking class!. I would love to return again some day and would highly recommend this beautiful, gracious home to others.

The staff was great. They did an em-enable job. The furnishings were done nicely, however the the house seemed only to have had the required maintenance. Many of the bathroom fixtures were corroded (dated), and the tiles were in disrepair. Externally, there were visible rust areas as well as bricks falling of the house. The biggest issue we had was the noise. 2 of the three nights there most of us did not sleep well due to excessive noise caused by a neiboring club of some sort. The design of the property with it being walled in created an echo chamber for the noise that was at times, unbearable.

I travel globally year-round and am fortunate enough to stay in the best homes and hotels and I have to say, without question, that this is the single finest experience I've had. Oaxaca itself is a very special, magical city, and if you combine that with this property, you will likely have the best vacation of your life. The house and grounds are expansive and rather astonishing. The location could not be any better. The house is a fortress and comes with a full-time, 24-hour a day security guard, butler and housekeeper/chef, all of whom are the best at what they do. In addition, the host Nicolas is fantastic. I got sick during my stay and needed top extend the stay by two days and not only did they accommodate my request, they tended to my every need and brought in a medical team to take care of me as I recovered. "Yo no tengo palabras" about how magnificent this experience was for me. Highest possible recommendation *****

Great House

This property isn’t only located in a great neighborhood, but it’s also impeccably ran. The house was perfectly clean, which is something that I’ve found tough to find with other rentals. This house I ran very well. The house manager is always available and is happy to help with any questions or requests. He booked us two drivers who were professional and had great SUVs. He was very hands on and kind. The cleaner is the sweetest woman. The host Nicolas was also great. Always very responsive before and during our stay. When I first arrived I was a little nervous that the house wouldn’t be safe enough for my three year old but I realized most properties in Mexico don’t follow the same safety standards as in the US. This house turned out to be amazing for my family. We all loved it and felt safe in every way. They have a full time guard who sits by the gate 24/7. He and his partner alternate. Overall great experience!! We would stay here again for sure.

Fabulous staff and the casa .. so caring and responsive. I wish all rentals had this option. and driver Raymundo. You don't need a rental car as Raymundo was able to navigate the surrounding areas to relax and enjoy the area and created a delightful itinerary.

Holiday stay in Oaxaca

The house is very charming (in a modern style) and was a wonderful place for our extended family to stay during our holiday in Oaxaca. We had plenty of space, lots of light and outdoor spaces to gather, a lovely staff and could walk into the main square and to other restaurants and shopping easily.

Most beautiful home in Oaxaca

BEYOND ALL EXPECTATIONS! The house is incredible - the photos don't do it justice one bit! Incredible location. Staff - the sweetest most welcoming people. Our family and friends could have not been any happier, we rented the house for two weeks and had a beautiful time. Our communication with Nicolas was great, he is so welcoming and responds very quick to messages. This home is worth every penny and we will be booking again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful experience staying at this beautiful home. Property is huge and extremely private yet right near all of the best shopping and restaurants. The staff is incredibly accommodating and never obtrusive. Delicious breakfast! Would highly recommend.

Oaxaca Paradise

This was a fabulous location and stunning home located a good walk from the center. It was easy, safe and enjoyable to walk to the centro each day. The kids appreciated a pool for a midday swim. Each morning we were treated to a delicious mexican breakfast set on a meticulously decorated table. No detail was forgotten. The staff was perfect and very accommodating. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. Art lovers will appreciate the contemporary art lovingly placed. We hope we can stay here the next time we are in Oaxaca.

A Beautiful Home in a Perfect Location

Everything about this property exceeded my expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful with fantastic art and a very helpful and welcoming staff. The owner was very helpful in recommending restaurants and helping with transportation. The home is walking distance to almost all restaurants, markets and stores. We had an absolutely great time and loved everything about the house.

Amazing

The photos do not even come close to doing this place justice. This is a beautiful house, located as centrally as you could possibly want, with a kind and attentive staff. You really have to see it to believe the architectural details and comfort level. I don’t see how I could possibly return to Oaxaca without staying here again.
