Pine Beach Camp dans le parc des Adirondacks de New York se trouve sur l'une des plages de sable les plus exclusifs de la vallĂ©e de Champlain. La plage quart de mile est dĂ©limitĂ©e par l'embouchure de la riviĂšre Ausable dans le Nord et une falaise au sud et est uniquement accessible par une route de gravier privĂ©. Le fond du lac est sablonneux et la plupart des rĂ©sidents se promener et entrer dans l'eau avec les pieds nus. Les bateaux peuvent ĂȘtre amarrĂ©s en mer Ă  distance de marche ou tirĂ© vers le haut sur la plage. Il ya beaucoup Ă  voir et Ă  faire Ă  partir de cet emplacement. Flotter un kayak, paddle board ou une rangĂ©e bateau sur le lac ou la riviĂšre Ausable paresseux, nager, pĂȘcher ou simplement vous dĂ©tendre sur la terrasse ou sur la plage. Dans la nuit, assis autour d'un feu sur la plage et griller des guimauves. L'emplacement est Ă©galement un point de dĂ©part idĂ©al pour explorer les montagnes de l'Adirondack beautĂ© sauvage. Lake Placid, site des Jeux Olympiques de 1980 et dans le coeur des Adirondacks est de 39 miles de lĂ . Downtown Burlington, VT est un ferry 1 heure de Port Kent, NY (ferry accepte voitures). De Burlington, les paysages les plus pittoresques du Vermont a Ă  offrir sont seulement une courte distance en voiture. La station de train Amtrack Ă  Port Kent donne Ă©galement accĂšs Ă  et de Penn Station Ă  New York ainsi que de MontrĂ©al. Trois terrains de golf publics sont situĂ©s dans 8 miles avec avec le golf le plus proche Ă  moins de 3 miles. Ausable Chasm, une attraction touristique populaire est Ă  seulement 3 miles de distance.

The location is quiet and out of the way, but also close enough to all the necessities (less than 15 min to multiple grocery stores etc.) exactly what we were looking for.The property was clean, the host (Karol) communicated clearly and responded quickly, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful time! We had a little bit of trouble finding the place because GPS was a little misleading, but we were thrilled at the house and the views of lake Champlain! Important to note that each guest is responsible for a full cleaning of the property including washing sheets and towels, cleaning all rooms including the kitchens and bathrooms, taking out the trash and recycling etc. I like this as it keeps us from paying for a large cleaning fee, but it's also helpful to know that it's the expectation in advance. We ended up bringing our own sheets and towels so we could avoid the laundry and that worked great! Will absolutely stay here again, we had such a lovely weekend!

We had so much fun at camp even though it rained for half of our trip. Pulling up to camp the first time takes your breath away, even though you know you’re going to be on the beach, you don’t realize how beautiful it all can be. The outdoor space is obviously the best part, with plenty of sitting, a picnic table, a grill, a fire pit and water activities to do (which we did not partake in due to the weather but makes it worth rebooking). Thankfully the rain didn’t stop us from enjoying the view with the overhang that kept the patio furniture dry and the wall of windows on the first AND second floor! My only reservation is that the previous person must of had a dog and decided not to be thorough with their cleaning. I think it is hard to expect someone to clean as well as you would but my child was finding clumps of hair in places that should have been cleaned. It’s a plus to be able to stay until 12 PM but if you have a flight or plans the last morning of your trip, it is a rush to get out of there while making sure everything is clean. Karol does let you know the day of check in that you can bring your own sheets and towels to make the check out process quicker and we did take advantage of that, but if you are flying or coming from farther away, there’s a target/walmart in Plattsburgh. Overall the home and location were amazing and my friends and family loved being right on the beach, playing in the sand and taking a few walks when we could. We will be back!

This location is right on Lake Champlain. The view is amazing and you are right on the beach. This is the only reason to stay here.The Internet is good.Overall 4.0/10.First main issue - hard to find. GPS address did not work properly in Garmin or Waze or Google. You have to get close, combine Waze to get to the "road" but Garmin to turn onto the road.The beds are marginal - some mattresses are just over the acceptable line, others are well below.The listing doesn't mention the train that likes to go by blowing its horn at 11pm amd 6am shaking the entire building.The listing is pet friendly but doesn't tell you it's on leash only and if you go 3 feet "off property" (which isn't marked or obvious) you'll get complaints.One toilet is angled so nice core workout to use, the showers are so small it's not usable downstairs and upstairs the shower head is on the long rather than short side of the shower.The furniture is uncomfortable - like bad. The best are the plastic adirondack chairs on the patio.The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher. The stove is tiny.The biggest issue is the check out. Clean everything, including wash, dry, fold sheets and towels. The washer drain tub overflows if you try and do 2 loads in a row, but how do you wash everything? It's a small washer. Insane. No where else asks the showers to be cleaned and the sheets cleaned and folded and returned. Not explained on the listing and well out of the norm.

If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation this is the spot to pick. Second time here and sitting out on the back patio watching the lake and birds drinking our coffee is just how I remembered it. Stand up paddle boarding on the lake as well as exploring the Ausable river was a great way to spend a warm summer day. Happy also to bike the Causeway bike way to Burlington bike way which has been on my bucket list. The owner, Karol, is a kind, caring person who is very responsive to any questions we had.

Graduation from Suny Plattsburgh

I was there for a graduation!My little girl was recieving a degree in Biology amd she surprised us with dual degrees, one in biology, and the other one in political science! I meeded a place that would fit five people. I have to say. This was a hidden gem. It is on a sandy beach on the lake. At night, it was cool and we lit a bonfire on the beach and you could see every star in the sky. The beds were comfortable and everyone was impressed with the size of the house amd the rooms were large. The room facing the lake was great at night. My mother can't walk up stairs. The first floor with the TV had a sofa bed. It was perfect for her. The host was good. She was available via text and responded right away. The day of check in. Her husband was there and he answered all my questions and helped me with the air conditioners remote controlls I had an amazing stay. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a beautiful beach property on a lake. Where the beach looks like you are on an ocean. Thank you for making this weekend super special.

Perfect and Peaceful

Our stay here was absolutely lovely!! The owners provide everything you need to have a fun and enjoyable lake stay. The house is rustic and quaint and the perfect size for our family of 6. It is off the beaten path but still close enough to take fun day trips if you choose. We enjoyed peaceful days on the beach and water, along with campfires at night. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The property is well-equipped for a summer camp and enjoys a beautiful view of Lake Champlain. Contains lots of vintage items. Nice to be able to bring a dog. Carol is very helpful. Renter currently has option of cleaning the property themselves at end of stay.

Perfect summer beach house

This beach house had everything our family needed for relaxing and fun. Adirondack chairs on the front covered patio, canvas chairs for the evening firepit down by the water, beach chairs, boats and a magnificent view. The cottage is comfy with plenty of rooms for our family. The kids played in the sand and sandy bottom lake was shallow enough for our 5 year old. Karol is great and answered questions immediately!

Kourmonts, seagulls and geese, oh my

This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed on vacation. We most definitely will be back probably around May. Karol was amazing. She first of all had to help us find the place way back off the road. Then then she gave us all kinds of ideas as to where to go for sightseeing. We had an amazing time. She was very patient and accommodating. She was ready to help whenever we needed it. We highly recommend this place for a quiet getaway and beautiful scenery.

I just retired and wanted to get away for a few days to unwind. The place had everything I needed. The weather was beautiful, the area was beautiful and the view of the lake beautiful. So glad I decided to stay here rather than a hotel.

Relaxing mini-vacation at camp

This camp was wonderful. It was so easy to pack and get away- the owners have thought of so many details and there is so much available here to use! The water is not drinkable, but the host supplies bottled water, which we appreciated tremendously (we have stayed at places before where we must bring our own and it is so burdensome). The location is amazing, with lake access, and incredible views of the mountains. We enjoyed watching the trains go by and the geese flying South. So easy to just relax and enjoy! We hope to go back.

Beach getaway

Wonderful stay with lots to do. Place comes well equipped for biking, kayak paddling, paddle boarding and even has the life jackets and bike helmets. Gracious host met us on arrival and updated us on activities available and general info of what’s in the area. The views of the green mountains and Lake Champlain never got old.

Mountaineer Top Notch Camp

This Camp is amazing, it has all the amenities you need, wood for the fire pit, washer & dryer, fully stocked kitchen as well as a garage full of fun things to use in the water. Bugs can be bad so make sure you bring bug spray. We sat by the fire pit every night and looked at the constellations which was absolutely amazing. Karol & Joe are very kind and helpful with whatever we needed. Looking forward to going back again next year.

Beautiful Place

Karol was a great host. We had a couple of questions that she answered promptly. No problems at all. This property was everything the listing said and more. Watching the sunrise light up the shoulder of Mount Mansfield from the upstairs sun porch. Calender-worthy views of Mount Mansfield (the highest point in Vermont) and the Camel's Hump (well-known to hikers on the Long Trail) across the lake. The house itself is beautiful and well furnished with everything including firewood. The beds are very comfortable. Sitting around the fireplace or a fire on the beach really makes a special place for conversations among friends. The house itself has a warm and friendly feeling about it. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a special place for a vacation.

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay with family members at this cozy and comfy lake house. This camp has all the amenities to help you enjoy the beautiful Lake Champlain area. Several evenings we sat on the beach and enjoyed a bonfire while gazing across the lake to Vermont. A big thank you to our host, Karol. Your communication was excellent and we would not hesitate to return to this beautiful lake property in the future.

Spectacular views and every comfort from home!

We really enjoyed our stay at “camp” and had everything we could possibly need! This family camp was comfortable and cozy, and the wood burning fireplace kept us warm with plenty of wood for both the fireplace and our beach bonfires! All the extras are there and make it easy to settle in. Comfy beds, lovely antiques, plenty of warm blankets for chilly nights, books, family games and we even caught the Bills game on the smart tv! Kids loved the Wi-Fi and we all loved the peaceful setting and views of the mountains of Vermont. Would love to come again for the summer so we can dip into the lake!! We enjoyed a fall weekend with plenty of R&R and things to do as a family! Owners are incredibly attentive and timely with responses to any questions you have. So happy we could bring our doggo too!
