Welcome to your perfect lakeside retreat on the shores of Lake Michigan! Nestled in the heart of natural beauty, our Lake Michigan lake house rental offers an idyllic escape. The home boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is ready to host up to 10 guests.

Holiday Heart is situated at the end of a quiet street and is a wonderfully peaceful retreat while still being only a 10 minute drive into town. Take a step back in time with this town’s picturesque views from the downtown strip. Take a look into the harbor where you'll see boats pull in and out from Lake Michigan. This lakeside town is packed with cute shops and restaurants. From the classic fudge/ice cream parlors of western Michigan to the wonderful restaurants you are certain to be satisfied with whatever you may desire.

This home is situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. You have exclusive access to the private beach that has stair and automated rail access (see photos).

Head outdoors and be instantly filled with the outdoor paradise that surrounds the area. Take a bike ride or stroll down the famous Kal-Haven Trail. Connecting Kalamazoo and South Haven, this 35 mile trail is said to be one of the best in Michigan. With its smooth terrain and gorgeous views it earns this title very easily. Looking for a little adrenaline rush? Rent an ATV and take to the trails in a more invigorating way or take to the water with a memorable sunset sailing experience.

The dining space complete with a cozy fireplace overlooks the viewing deck that spans the width of the house for endless outdoor entertainment. The master bedroom is a true sanctuary, boasting a 3rd story deck that provides unparalleled views of the lake, making it the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. Outdoor spaces are a delight with a main level patio with grill, a sprawling lakeside deck, and a spacious screened-in porch, all thoughtfully designed to enhance your enjoyment of the stunning surroundings and savoring sunsets after a day of fun on the beach.

gorgeous and functional beach house

This is the second time we have stayed here and it's been wonderful. The house is set up perfectly for 2 families and is great for kids; house is beautiful and functional; lake-view porch, screened-in porch, funicular, private beach, hot tub and fire pit are all awesome. Short drive to great spots like Virtue Cider and other restaurants. House is stocked with beach wagon and beach toys which was so convenient. Will come back every year!

Cozy beach home with great view of lake n sunset

It’s a lovely beach home that overlooks Lake Michigan. There is a view from every room. The area is very quiet and serene. We stayed there for gals getaway and thoroughly enjoyed it. On all days we enjoyed beautiful sunset views. The beach itself is gorgeous and easily accessible private beach with white sand. The home is cozy and tastefully decorated with all amenities. The owners had given us detailed instructions. We had a fantastic time and would love to go back again. Highly recommend this place.

The house is beautiful and wonderfully located close to the private beach. The house has great amenities and lots of space to spread out. It was very family friendly for littles. There were games, coloring supplies, puzzles, beach toys, and beach wagon. The outdoor fire ring, hot tub, and propane fire pit on the deck made it very cozy. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!!

The Perfect Summer Lakehouse

The property was even more beautiful than in pictures and very clean upon our arrival. There was lots of attention to detail and so many different spaces to enjoy. The beach was wonderful and easy to access. We spent a lot of the weekend relaxing on the front porch enjoying the lake view. Host was very responsive. Would recommended Michigan Wine Company for wine tasting in the area.

Our family vacation consisted of adult children and significant others (ages 19-27). This place had enough space for everyone. The balcony and the screened in porch were favorites. The property manager was accessible and responsive. The kitchen is well-stocked. Had a great time.

Loved the Lake Michigan view!

This home was perfect for the 7 of us. Great location right on the water, nicely decorated, comfortable beds. Grandsons play guitar & there was one in the living room they enjoyed playing. Close to The South Haven downtown. The ladies all loved the scent of the shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Highly recommend this home away from home!

Beautiful views, beautiful place

This was the perfect place for a get-a-way. The property is beautiful, with gorgeous views and it feels very private. There are thoughtful amenities, plenty of beds and a wonderful place to gather, eat and play games. We visited in the fall and didn't access the beach, but watched the most perfect sunset from the deck and then woke up to the lake view. The best AriBnB I have ever stayed in.

Weekend Stay for Two families with young children

The Holiday Heart house was perfect for our weekend fall getaway to Michigan. Close to South Haven and Saugatuck, we enjoyed the property and the surrounding towns! We had 4 adults and 3 small children. Plenty of space in the main areas, and the screened in porch was our absolute favorite! The views could not be beat from the house. We will definitely be back in the summertime! Jack was incredibly responsive and all the instructions were clear. House is exactly as pictured!

Amazing South Haven Stay!

Gorgeous house right on the water - perfect for 2-3 families. Beautiful beach access. Well-equipped home with all the essentials, even kids' stuff! Super clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. Host was very communicative and helpful! Easy drive to downtown South Haven, Virtue Cider, several other attractions. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Cozy and relaxing

The location of this home is absolutely wonderful. We’ve stayed in this area a few times and enjoy being able to venture easily to South Haven and Saugatuck. The area is quiet and a perfect spot to relax with an incredible view. The beach is great for a walk, and though it’s small, there is still plenty of space for kids to play. The home was very clean and well decorated. A cozy spot to hang out with the family and we enjoyed the record player and games.

Perfect place for family time

It’s the perfect place. The great neighborhood away from the hub hub And The views! The firepit out front. The gas fire pit on the deck for morning gathering with family while enjoying serene views . The beautifully appointed and immaculately clean gathering spaces! The screened in porch for game night all of it just perfect!! The host is amazing. And we did take the private beach, but I would recommend bringing water shoes because it is a rocky area. Great beach for adults probably not the best for a little ones just head over to North Beach the best beach experience just a short driveway.
