You will have access to the first floor of the property.
This was a monumental celebration. It was my granddaughterâs first birthday, her momâs first Motherâs Day and we also took my 83 year old grandmother for Motherâs Day. So we have four generation of women to celebrate. The house was perfect. It was very roomy and I absolutely love the porch with the hammock.. the master bedroom had its own sunroom. It was in the perfect location around some really good restaurants. I will definitely be renting this house again.
Me and my friends had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and felt spacious. Not only provided towels but personal hygiene care as well. Would definitely stay here again and recommend others to stay here as well
First day we arrived ceiling where leaking water and mold was all over. Spoke to host he stated that water dripping just started the same day we checked in. Water was dripping in living room, in each bedroom on top of beds and cords The smell of black mold was bad. Took pictures and videos and sent to VRBO.
We loved that the owner was very accessible, and the place itself was close to a grocery store, a bakery, a pharmacy, and the beach! Very location friendly and easy to get around.
My family of nine stayed at this property the same week they were hit with Tropical Storm Ernesto, we came with low expectations since the island just suffered a natural storm, the host Jay was very communicative and accommodating, the first two days with no power were just as enjoyable as the rest of our stay, he set up a generator and kept us comfortable! He gave great recommendations of things to do in Luquillo! But what stood out the most was how clean this house was, we have zero complaints and thank Jay so much for being apart of making our vacation so enjoyable!
There was a confusion with other tenants that prevented to get in the apartment. Had to wait until the other tenants picked up their belongings causing delay with plans of the wedding. The master bedroom didnt have a/c that caused extra money on fans for my family members. It was told to the manager in which he checked but at the end it didnt work. Didnt have time to move to another location.
Other than that everything else was good.
Let me first start by saying the house's location and accomodations for a large group are great. The check in process was easy, and the host answered my messages promptly. There were ample towels at our disposal as well as toiletries and sunblock. Which was awesome & appreciated. There's also seasonings for cooking. The Bad:The master bedrooms AC was plugged into an extension cord that was melting while we were there, we messaged the host and let him know about the issue, & let him know appliances like that should be plugged directly into the wall (my husband is an electrical engineer), and that we unplugged it and it would remain unplugged for the duration of our trip. To our surprise when we came back from an outing the AC extension cord had been replaced with a surge protector, but the AC didn't turn on when plugged in. We appreciate the effort, a notice that someone was coming in would have also been appreciated. There was no futon in the master room which left one of us on the couch in the living room, which isn't the end of the world, but something that we wish we would have known. The pans are Teflon and are not in usable condition, but that was an easy fix, we bought a grill and charcoal, and left it there for the next person. I packed my bags and left them by the door the night before we departed, and when I went to leave my bag was soaked on the bottom and the contents of my bag ruined, the only important item was my passport. Host unresponsive now.
Not a bad place to stay but considering the price i would expect a bit more from the small thibgs that made it uncomfortable..
The worst inconvenience was the internet and the roku tvs.. we simplify had a very tougg time making the tvs work consistently and in the bedrooms i finally just gave up.
In the master bathroom the sink water pressure and toilet was really slow. We made it work. The Ac in the master was a bit too small and noisy. The room was a bit warmer than the rest of the house.
In the kitchen, not enough pots and pans and none of the knives were sharp. We did ask for a sharpener and did eventually get one. The washer is a bit tricky but we also got i to work. I did ask for a partial refund on our inconveniences but was denied. It is what it is, i guess. The last thing that really bothered me was, we were flight delayed and had to travel on a different day, unfortunately had to extend a day, so i asked how much. The owner wanted 245 dollars to extend an extra night. Totally unreasonable. Got a hotel instead. Considering we didn't use our firat night due to the delay, . Good day all and do your homework
minutes away for all the fun and noise that comes with it but distant enough from it all so that you may rest well once its time to relax with some peace and quiet.
