We are very sorry that Skylar’s stay did not meet the standard we expect for our guests. When maintenance issues arose, we responded promptly, sent our maintenance crew the same day, and provided a temporary replacement appliance when one of the appliances failed. A scheduled pest-control visit was also not properly communicated to the guest, which understandably came as an unpleasant surprise. We have since addressed our vendor notification procedures to help prevent this from happening again. Given the combination of issues during the stay, we also provided substantial compensation because we felt the overall experience fell short of our standards. We appreciate Skylar’s feedback and regret that her stay was not the experience we intended. We have taken the concerns seriously and used them to improve our maintenance coordination and guest communication going forward.

Perfect home for family

We enjoyed this home for our family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was wonderful. Cant wait to stay here again.

Great family home

We had the best time at this property. It was the perfect size for our entire family! (Grandparents, my family of 5, my sister’s family of 4, and my sister). The host was awesome to communicate with and provided all the necessities (including extra bath and pool towels). The pool/backyard was so nice. We will definitely be booking this listing again!

Plenty of space for everyone

The house was very spacious and had all of the amenities that you can think us. The throwback video games were so much fun. It was close to many supermarkets and stores. Very convenient to the highway. Was in a peaceful community.

Great stay for the whole family!

We’re so glad we picked this property to stay at! The host was very easy to communicate with and the pictures do not do the house justice. Property was very clean and our family had a great time here while visiting Houston. We appreciate all the extra little details (child-safety door lock to the pool area, makeup removal towels, and VERY comfortable beds). Love that the house had enough beds for everyone AND enough seating for everyone. Highly recommend.

Excellent Stay!!!

We had a group of 9 staying in Houston for a football game and vacation. The house is 10 min from NRG Stadium which was very convenient. The home itself was beautiful! The entire house was redone and modernized. It was super clean! Melody was a fantastic host with excellent communication! We would definitely stay there again next time we come to Houston!!!

Enjoyable Family Stay!!

Us along with multiple family members were visiting our son at Rice University. We had our son over for dinner and family game night. On Saturday, we were all able to swim, watch some football on tv, attend the Rice football game, and come back to our own property to relax and finish the day with more food and football with our son and family. We plan on returning to Houston with family and will be renting this property again!

Our Adult Retreat

What you see in the pictures is exactly what you'll get plus more! With 7 adults, the home felt very comfortable and spacious. Newly furnished appliances, nice and clean upon arrival, access to the many streaming services included on our stay. Any questions regarding the property, Melody answered fairly quickly. 15-20 minutes from majority of Downtown Houston's activities, we anticipate in rebooking this home!

Tournament stay

We have stayed at a lot of rentals, and this was probably the most thoughtful and organized rental I’ve seen! We had 2 families and 6 teenagers - the layout was perfect and had all the kitchen supplies and other small touches you will need. The location was perfect for all the different venue/fields we had to get to. If you plan on having late nights, this is a quiet neighbor and that will likely be an issue. Otherwise, I can’t say enough positives things about our week at this charming home

House is beautiful! All the rooms were nice and clean. Melody was awesome and any issues or concerns we had, she got right on it. We had a little issue with a foul smell, not sure where it came from, but Melody got right on it. The storm had knocked the tv out , she told us what we needed to do and everything worked out fine. Kids loved the pool. If you have little ones, make sure they have pool shoes. Overall , We enjoyed the house and we will be back !

We had a really great stay overall and would absolutely come back again!The interior of the home was honestly amazing, exactly as described, if not better. Everything was very clean, well cared for, and it felt like they truly thought of everything. The house was incredibly well stocked with essentials, which made settling in super easy and comfortable from the start.The host was also fantastic to work with. Communication was quick and easy the entire time. I really appreciated how proactive they were …on the day of our arrival, they reached out to let us know there was a bit of “sludge” at the bottom of the pool and offered to have it cleaned right away. They followed through immediately and had someone come out promptly, which we thought was great service.If I had to mention one downside, it would be the exterior of the home. It could definitely use a little attention. The landscaping is quite overgrown, especially in the backyard around the pool area, and the front of the home feels a bit neglected. It didn’t impact our stay at all, but some simple upkeep would really elevate the overall look and first impression of the property.All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

Family Stay

I’ve booked several stays on VRBO. Sometimes the owners are not so easy to access or responsive, things may not work or the house isn’t what you saw online. This was not the case at all. The home was beautiful, rooms had plenty of blankets, restrooms was fully stocked and so was the Kitchen. Rules and information was clearly laid out. Safety was a big issue for us with a toddler and the pool and game machine. They had the game secured to the wall and a top latch for the back door. This house was perfect for our family stay and we definitely would recommend it. This is how homes should be- attention to small details and feel like a home away from home. Thanks

From the moment we arrived, the place felt spacious, clean, and well set up for a group plenty of room for everyone to spread out and hang out together.The host was accommodating to all of our guests, and every detail of the stay made us feel comfortable and welcome. It's the kind of place that makes a group trip actually feel relaxing instead of chaotic.One small note: the "inside by 9 PM" policy is tough to manage with a bigger group. That said, it's a minor nitpick in an otherwise wonderful stay.Overall, this was a fantastic home base for our trip, and I'd absolutely book it again for a future Houston visit. Highly recommend for groups looking for a comfortable, welcoming spot to stay together!
