2 bedroom apartment in downtown Zumbrota. Sleeps 4-6.
Located above a destination shoe boutique in the downtown shopping district, this 2 bedroom VRBO is one of 4 apartments on the 2nd level of one of the oldest buildings in Zumbrota. Just a block or two from the Goodhue Pioneer Trail and the Covered Bridge Park, with the only covered bridge still remaining in Minnesota. It's a quick 3 block walk to the historic State Theatre. The grocery store and convenience store are right around the corner.
Everything was great - plenty of space for the four of us, two comfy bed (and a large futon for two more if needed). A wide variety of snacks were provided and a bag of Caribou Coffee as well. Connie is a fantastic hostess and responded quickly to our inquiries. The location is walking distance to local shops, bars, restaurants, and the grocery store. I truly canât say enough good things.
Great day. The VRBO was one of the cleanest places Iâve ever seen in my travel career. They were nice enough to leave bottles of water, snacks, and the information was easily accessible on the table when we arrived. We had one very small problem that they took care of immediately and successfully. I would absolutely stay there again.
Our goal to relax in a quiet atmosphere was met! Grocery store a block away, we thoroughly enjoyed reading in the small balcony. The lounger is like a cotton cloud. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Very modernized apartment in a charming vintage building. Very cool during a hot spell. View of Zumbotaâs claim to frame covered bridge. Situated on Main Street âs local boutique shopping block. Close to library and walking paths in Covered Bridge Park. Really could not have asked for better. Would visit again.
We stayed overnight after a concert nearby and the space was easy to find, clean and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!
This was an awesome VRBO. It was spacious and very well kept. We could cook in the kitchen. The host communicated very well and was responsive when we messaged. We would stay here again. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone.
We grew up in Cannon Falls and were looking for a fun way to spend a sisters weekend in advance of one of us getting married. We registered for a painting class in Goodhue and happened upon this wonderful apartment. It was the perfect location. Wonderful shops, cafes, conveniences and photo ops within a short walking distance. Connie doesn't miss a detail in her hospitable provisions. You will NOT be disappointed at all!
We loved our stay in this apartment! We were sad to have to leave and would definitely stay again. Well stocked and a great location. We really enjoyed the little deck for coffee in the morning. Connie was a fantastic host!
Apartment was perfect. Very clean and had everything needed. Excellent communication with the host. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. It is right downtown easy walking to a cafe a few
Very clean, comfortable unit. Host was very accommodating with check in and check out times. She was a good communicator. There was lots of water and snacks which we appreciated. It was a 95 degree weekend. Unit was cool when we got there and we were able to adjust the temperature to our needs. Restaurants are right downstairs on Main Street. Only suggestion would be room darkening shades for the bedrooms. It was quite bright at night with city lighting. The host did have masks available which our daughter used. Host also went out of her way to send me items I had forgotten. TY. We would definitely stay there again.
Really a nice place. We liked the amenities and the extras such as snacks, coffee, soaps. Also the closeness to shopping, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. We will be back.
We needed to stay several nights in the area and this VRBO listing was available. It was perfect! Easy to check in, owner was nearby when we had any questions, and the location was near everything.
We live in Zumbrota, and we own Luya Shoes and Other Fine Things, which is on Main St directly below the VRBO. Connie operates the shop while Bob enjoys his days as the Executive Director of the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
We purchased the building in 2022 (Connie had been renting the Luya space for 8 years), and have been remodeling apartments as they become available. We learned that a VRBO would be a welcome addition to the community, so we decided to make one of the 4 apartments available as a VRBO.
