Relax at this cozy Cabin located right across from the River Trail (bike trail) and right off Interstate 74. Relax on the balcony and watch the people go by and enjoy the privacy and tranquility of this beautiful space. Kids stay in the loft with a reading nook and smart TV. Private master bedroom with touch lamps, huge closet and a work space. A beautiful get-away in a great location close to everything. Large side lot with plenty of room for outdoor activities, including a fire pit. Cabin is a 2BR/1BA with a 1BR/1BA studio on the lower level (in-law quarters).
we stayed 2 nights while up for nephew's wedding. wonderful litlle cabin, worked perfect for our purposes. feels very rural on the east peoria side. country place for country folks. cabin clean and well set up. host VERY responsive to any issue which was really one of the keypads had low battery. don't miss the 502 cafe- great breakfast all day!thank ya'll!
The house was gorgeous! We loved the hot tub and everything. The house was very clean and even set up for my birthday/ girls night which was much appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10
Such a great find in Peoria, our family had a great time with all of the games and of course the hot tub. The host was very accommodating and there were lots of little touches that were very nice. Thank you for a great stay!
The owner of this property has great communication! There was an issue with lighting in the main house, but she did send a message letting us know. My only "criticism" was that there was dirt & leaves on the floor in the "in-law quarters."Overall, my friends and I loved the space. It was comfortable with plenty of entertainment options. The coffee bar was fantastic and the main seating area was beautiful and welcoming. We all agreed that we would stay here again!
We were in Peoria for a short business trip. Found this little hideaway within 10 minutes of downtown Peoria. Has all the amenities you might need. Excellent communication from the host. Will definitely stay again if available.
Perfect place to gather with friends. We had everything we needed to have a relaxing night in. Cabin was perfect and we enjoyed the hot tub. Communication was easy with the host and everything was as pictured.
This place was exactly what we needed! It was clean, cozy, and pet friendly! The owner was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to accommodate an early check in and late check out so we could leave our dogs in a safe place while we finished the Potawatomi races that we had planned that weekend. We couldnât have asked for a better experience.
Overall it was not cleanedâŠupstairs or downstairs. The first 4 drawers we opened had mice droppings in themâŠmice droppings in 4 drawers! We didnât look further into any other cabinets or drawers, and refused to use anythingâŠThe downstairs 1 BR unit had a horrible musty smell like it hadnât been aired out or cleaned in a month. There were a bunch of dead bugs and spiders all over the floor and window sills that my brother cleaned. There were bed sheets hanging on hooks (like towels would be) in the downstairs BR. The washer/dryer was in the BR...Melissa said they were clean and it is the laundry room. Unfortunately, it is the only BR downstairs and why wouldn't you fold the sheets if they were clean? The coffee pot was molded throughout the inside as the filter basket had used beans that were not cleaned out and since molded...my sister cleaned it. Garbage can in the downstairs was not emptied...we emptied it.The extra pack of toilet paper under the sink in the upstairs bathroom was wet and unusable.I paid 200 for a hotel room the 2nd night so my brother didn't have to stay in the downstairs unit (and he could stay in the upstairs bedroom I was in the 1st night). The upstairs is charming if it had a good cleaning. Mouse droppings in 4 the first 4 drawers we looked in and the un-vacuumed floor with all the dead bugs throughout proves this hasnt been cleaned in weeks.Needs a Super Deep Cleaning! My only negative VRBO experience and only negative review. a few pics...
This place has a lot of potential. We only stayed for one night. Place just needs a deep clean. Air vents caked with dirt. Dirt and cobwebs behind bedroom door. Fridge was pretty dirty. There was a tweezer by our bed, which did not belong to us. Clearly was not fully cleaned before we came. Listing isn't clear, the upper cabin is 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Then there is a lower cabin that's 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom.
5 of us stayed for a night and absolutely loved the remote location which was still close enough to Peoria for anything we wanted to do in town. Peoria is 1/2 way between my brother who lives in St Louis, and my wife, mother and I who live in Lake County, IL. We would certainly stay again. Do note that the stairs going up to the upper level are a little steep for older folk and could be an issue for some. Overall, a wonderful stay.
Worked out perfect for my family & I to stay here during my daughterâs college graduation. Had everything we needed & close to amenities. Cute cabin. Thanks for the stay!
This property has a lot to offer. Check in is super easy. Tons of room to spread out and the hot tub is something extra you donât find in very many properties. It was secluded and quiet yet really close to everywhere we wanted to eat and a close drive to the civic center to watch an event we had tickets for. The diner down the road had really good breakfast as well.
The property was all set for us when we got there. Hot tub was ready to go, home setup for us and a great experience. We would go back for another weekend away anytime
We needed a place for a family gathering and celebration of my daughters' completion of her master's degree from Bradley University. The graduation took place in the late afternoon, and we wanted a place for all to hang out and be able to grill a great meal. The cabin had everything we needed. Melissa was very accommodating with everything. The cabin was a perfect place for us.
